You're joking right? Most decent pilots can land on a dime if they choose. They just know it's not necessary and sometimes it's fun to come in hot haha.
I really needed this when I started lmao cause coming from a simulator and just quitting the game I never knew how to land when I flew my first time Ended up just smacking into the ground lol
Dear sensei! your helpful videos make me a skilled pilot. but what I really can't do is fly sideways behind a fast-moving object (car, moto, boat, bike). I manage to fly sideways not much at all, then I lose speed / course / altitude or all at once. However, I see videos of experienced pilots flying sideways for as long as they need. maybe there is a secret in the action camera, which is fixed at an angle close to 90 degrees and there is no secret of piloting at all. sorry for my English, it's machine translation. I'm from Russia and when I manage to fight off bears with a balalaika, I fly in FPV)

Hmm I don't know the exact amount of inputs per axis but it's a combination of yaw, roll and pitch. Is it like in this video? ruclips.net/video/UpzMvqcLqHI/видео.html
@@headmazta Thanks for the answer! And for your educational work! Yes, this is approximately what I wrote about. I can't find a video on instagram that surprised me very much. maybe later!
actually, the answer to my question is not so important. your lessons are important, which make us more experienced. I am sure over time, each of us will answer our own questions, the main thing is to train hard)
If I understand the question, the simple answer would be to start the strafing maneuver by yawing in the direction of the subject, then add roll to control flight path.
This is certainly one of the areas I still need to practice more. And practice on harder surfaces. I often fly on grassy spots, and sometimes just chucks the quad without care.. Moreover on a few hairy situations where I'm still high on adrenaline.. Salamat ulit ng marami! Malaking tulong po.. :D
Anytime bro! Landing on cement is so much better to keep your quad clean 😅 If you have landing pads, your landing would be much better than in this video (i only used the screws for landing 😅)
@@headmazta oo naman. Practice-in ko muna sa liftoff din. Ang sama pa talaga ng landing ko, nadidisarm ko sya mga isang dangkal pa kaya may konting bounce nagfflip.
Oh yeah that's what I do. Especially for high angle, being able to see the ground when lining up to disarm is helpful. Landing in grass if possible also helps, gives more margin for error.
All things said and done if the hover point on your drone isnt pronounced it will be very difficult no matter how long have you been flying. The recommendation is apply some expo to your throttle point where your quad hovers you can do it in your radio or you can set it in BF as throttle mid and throttle expo. I usually have about 0.3-0.5 throttle expo and my throttle mid set to slow forward cruising point usually about 0.3 or 30% throttle. Once you have this in place hovering , hitting small gaps and landing will become far more easier.
On my first quad I used angle mode for takeoff and landing easier. But I was at a low camera angle. Now I'm flying at about 30 degrees. Which makes flying with a little speed much easier. But gentle landings feel much more awkward now.
Good video..I should have practiced this a bit more the other week. Cost me a quad when I was flying out in Oregon the other week. Was doing a little cliff surfing. Tight landing spot and it cost me....I'll be brushing up on my landings for sure...thanks for the tutorial. :)
Muy buenos tutoriales para los que quieran aprender de este mundo maravilloso que es el FPV...en cuanto al vídeo fácil hacerlo en modo normal pero en modo acro es otra cosa.. saludos desde argentina
Thanks bro! Yes bro, I myself once really had a hard time landing my own quad as a beginner. It was so stressful 😅 That's why I want to help people land their quads the safe way.
Not a bad video, but the edit to make it replay so many times was a but annoying and made the video drag, especially with that repetitive song. I don't need hype music watching a drone land in rewind over and over.
just hit the failsafe switch!
So simple yet so crucial! Epic tutorial mate!
Glad you think so! Thank you!
Seems like a beginner lesson, but videos show us even our most accomplished freestyle pilots need to work on this one.
You're joking right? Most decent pilots can land on a dime if they choose. They just know it's not necessary and sometimes it's fun to come in hot haha.
Great one! This will help a lot of beginners to not crash on landing.
Thanks bro!
That's on of the most handy videos in the whole NTTT series!
I'm still working on my smooth landing, I'm sure this video will help me a lot with it!
Really glad to be of help bro!
the way you combine the video and stick cam is very creative and effective. its impressive and could be useful to many new pilots.
Glad you liked it! Thank you!

I never knew how to land when I flew my first time
Ended up just smacking into the ground lol
When I first started I just scoot right over the asphalt lol. Screws are lost, but I made sure I bought tons of them lmao

great lesson!
im spending more time with the 5in kwads as im doing my "budget action cam" series....
plus im improving my landings as well!
Sounds great bro, keep it up! What's your budget action cam btw?
I always switch to angle mode for landing 😉. I am still a noob regarding flying but I have great drone building skill
Keep it up bro! Soon you'll land without angle mode nor even turning off the Airmode.

Sorry to hear that bro, might have been so disappointing after flying above awesome cliffs.
thank you much!.. fly since 4 weeks .. am often confused .. and now ist starts to be cold in Germany.. 🌬️
You’re welcome 😊
Ito gusto ko matutunan yon smooth landing. Lods. Salamat 🤟👌❤️ thanks master

Which camera angle 📐 are you using? I love your videos, I’m learning a lot with you, thank you 🙏
Anytime bro! It's 25 degrees

I always plan the landing before the flight. Look for the best heading in. Wind direction. And slide it in. 🤭
Very true!

Super
Wohoo new video

Thank you but for good sake why do you have arm on the right side?
Off your air mode before landing
Is this in angle or acro mode?
Acro, always!
What rates do you use to fly so smoothly?

Dissarm?
Tip #1 turn off air mode lol
Quick tip! You won't need to learn how to land if you always crash))
Haha!
Most people don't have to land
It must be first video for beginner 😂
It seems like most FPV flyers really do more of a "controlled crash" than a proper landing lol
😂😂😂
What car is that tho? 😅
It's a Hyundai Getz 2011 :)
👍👍👍⭐⭐⭐
Lol my quad is no where near that stable 😂
Why bro what's wrong with your quad?
first ❤️🔥

Many of us here are beginners. And he just sticked to his template lttt vids. You can watch a 20s part of the video and leave is up to you.
