Love to see a video of you comparing all of the best teams you made for each region (of only moms from that region), and how they’d stack up against EACH OTHER!! Especially by going into their movesets and see what region comes out on top
Funnily enough, this is literally half of my team in Pokemon Scarlet right there, more specifically, Skeledirge, Pawmot, and Lokix. The rest of my team consists of Clodsire, Azumarill, and Espathra. They all really pull for me throughout almost the entire game. I still haven't finished the final part of the game's main storyline nor even started on The Indigo Disc DLC.
I remember watching your videos about the best team mons alot back then and I still do to this day. Ever since I watched my first best team video being oras swampert edition, I wanted to always get the best team members to not only to beat every game in the franchise but to also have every best team members competitively in every game. 😊
Well, at least I had 3 of these (Skeledirge, Pawmot, and Tinkaton) on my first Scarlet team, along with the…8 others I had. Also I’m glad you mentioned Garganacl, because it was a big help for me. But putting that aside, I have another team building idea: Best Team for SV, No Dual Types. Basically you pick which single-type Pokemon of the 18 types would be best for a playthrough. I’m planning on [eventually] doing a playthrough like this, so I’d be interested in hearing your picks.
My team was Skeledirge, Annihilape, Garchomp, Azumarill, Guardevoir, Ceruledge Worked fine for the Main game + both DLC Edit: for the terrarium trial i caught the following 6 Tauros Rillaboom Incineroar Kleavor Excadrill Alolan Ninetales Further options I tried were Infernape Swampert Lapras Rotom Greninja Granbull Haxorus Metagross Electabuzz Scrafty Talonflame Porygon Z
As someone whose favorite type is the bug type, I was pumped when I saw Lokix. Awesome design, typing and its viability. Not to mention a cool shiny. It’s one of my favorite new mons introduced in Paldea, along with Tinkaton (also, I like Tinkatuff too lol)
I've been doing a replay of scarlet and using tinkaton on my team. She beat Geeta singlehandedly after just one sword dance boost. Don't ever sleep on that fairy with a hammer power
That's a nice-looking team. I would personally swap the Lokix for a Flying type simply for a Ground immunity. I would've used Arboliva on my teams if I didn't pick Scovillain and Clodsire. In Scarlet, I used Skeledirge, Palafin, Pawmot, Bombirdier, Clodsire, and Dachsbun. In Violet, I used Quaquaval, Ceruledge, Kilowattrel, Mabosstiff, Scovillain, and Revavroom. If I were to pick a team with Sprigatito as my starter in Scarlet instead of Fuecoco, my team would probably consist of Meowscarada, Flamigo, Armarouge, Bellibolt, either Palafin or Dondozo for my Water-type team member, and either Tinkaton, Houndstone, or Orthworm as the final team member.
Half of my team in Scarlet is similar. I am using Skeledirge, Pawmot and Arboliva. The other half of my team are the past Pokémon I never used them before in any of my past teams which are Slowbro, Ribombee and Skuntank. In Violet, I am using Tinkaton. I am training my Violet team (Quaquaval, Tinkaton, Scovillain, Kilowattrel, Clodsire and Cyclizar) for the last five fights for all three stories. I used them a little bit, but I didn’t want to over level them to the point it gets too high and too over powered. My plan is to level them all to around 55-60 and have the right moves to counter as well as a boosting move.
okay, I know you make good content, but I'm going to leave a list of better alternatives and options for the adventure because I feel like it still needs adjustments: -KIlowattrel: very fast, with a good special attack and abilities that benefit him greatly in combat, plus if you have him with flying tera and you have the volt absorb ability, you remove an extra weakness -garganacl: it is better defensively than clodsire in addition to having a good ability, a characteristic attack that does consecutive damage and having recover -Tauros Aqua Breed: I know it sounds strange, but if you don't want to do everything explained before to get Palafin and you don't want to use flip turn in every fight, it's better to take Tauros who have intimidation and more coverage It's not a hateful comment, it's simply support to make the team even better.
Why you didn't put Baxcalibur the gen 9 pseudo legendary on the team, in my Scarlet Playthrough i caugh Frigibax after the 3rd Badge in Delizza Passage with dragon tera type and Adamant nature
So... I recently noticed something when looking at the wild Tera Rabsca in the Terrarium; You know the inner orb in its model? There's SOMETHING in there, It doesn't look like a Rellor (shooting down the pokedex's "it's a baby" theory), it looks more like a brain than anything.
Suggestions: Skeledirge, Pawmot, Lokix, Arboliva, Tinkatok and Palafin Hero Form. So far my own team consists of: Skeldirge, Pawmo, Clodsire, Mabossstiff, Garganacl and Wugtrio. I probably will switch a couple of them up.
Which Pokemon should I substitute in order to use Tauros? (The fighting one, not dual typing fire since I’ve started with fuecoco). Also, I think I can just take out Palafin and use Clodsire instead
Next question, who will you switch out for Ogrepon? That might be a good second video idea, who is the best team for Scarlett and Violet and its expansions? Swap-outs allowed.
I've gotta battle my friend soon using just gen 5 pokemon. Any suggestions? I can use 2 legendaries only. I was thinking swords dance meinshou with baton pass, zekrom scarfed with fusion bolt, and dragon claw Tera Fairy, kyrum white with fusion flare, ice beam, Protect and Draco meteor Tera fire, volcarona with Quiver Dance and fiery dance Tera grass and Giga Drain, amoongous, and a scarfed excadrill with x scissor, high Horsepower, iron head and rock slide
I know Skeledirge is pretty bulky but I'd prefer it in nuzlockes if it's possible 😂😂😂 Since even base ability meowscarada and floragato are so frail overgrow activates so quickly to nake seed bomb and flower trick 1 shot enemies
Where the heck is my boy Gholdengo? It can take a while to get, yes, but that guy wipes the floor with late game opponents. My Gholdengo was a lifesaver when I went up against Eri.
If I could get protean sprigattito (idk how to spell) would the team memebers change? Been wanting to do just paldean Pokémon and love this team but kinda want to use grass instead of fire starter
honestly i just use annihilate greavars kingambit and any glass cannon paldean pokemon kingambit aupreme overlord one shot every trainer in paldea after your 5 mons faint
In each game I always try to not induclude other region Pokemon to my gameplay and play with native Pokemon come on bro new region new pokemons Why we always choose lucario garchomp Vice versa
There's no point having a team in this game. Why do we need to have a good team, best attacks, train level. This game is to catch Pokemon only, fk game freak, why don't they keep doing games like let's go Pikachu or sword and shield, I don't want to play Zelda, if I want to play an open world game I would.. Make the open world game separately off the original Pokemon game.
hello there, so I plan on using this team for my second playthrough of the game, but I have no idea what movesets to use for each mon. Could someone give me some ideas ? 🥲
So glad to see more region exclusive teams. Can’t wait for this to tackle Sinnoh, Kalos or Alola.
So just to brainstorm some movesets here:
- Skeledirge = Torch Song, Will-O-Wisp, Shadow Ball, Earth Power
- Pawmot = Thunderpunch > Double Shock, Brick Break/Close Combat, Ice Punch, Volt Switch?
- Arboliva = Terrain Pulse, Energy Ball, Swift > Hyper Voice, Earth Power, Dazzling Gleam?
- Lokix = Lunge/U-turn, First Impression, Throat Chop, Axe Kick
- Tinkaton = Gigaton Hammer, Play Rough, Protect, Swords Dance (as stated in video)
- Palafin = Flip Turn, Wave Crash/Liquidation, Ice Punch, Drain Punch
I would’ve used Jet Punch… but that’s just me.
I usually put either slowbro or bronzong on skeledirge teams do to them being able to learn trick room
This video was pretty good. No movesets, but I think you got the point across for each member. Hope this team serves you well!
Love to see a video of you comparing all of the best teams you made for each region (of only moms from that region), and how they’d stack up against EACH OTHER!! Especially by going into their movesets and see what region comes out on top

Indeed, half my team is in this video, Tinkaton, Palafin, and Lokix. The others being Armarouge, Meowscarada, and Bellibolt.

Kilowattrel is the first Pokémon I’ve ever used in both versions of a generation. It fit perfectly in both of my teams in Scarlet & Violet.
Wish he had a third evolutions
Holy cow this is my exact team (except Lokix, I had clodsire). I've never seen myself as particularly smart so this is a big confidence buff
I love the Electric/Fighting type combination
I’d include Gholdengo as a late reserve Pokemon.
Keep up the great work and videos love the video
Wow, half my scarlet team is in this video, Tinkaton, Palafin, and Lokix. The others being Armarouge, Meowscarada, and Bellibolt.
This is the most detailed best-team yet! nice.
Well, at least I had 3 of these (Skeledirge, Pawmot, and Tinkaton) on my first Scarlet team, along with the…8 others I had. Also I’m glad you mentioned Garganacl, because it was a big help for me.

Technically to complete the entire game, you need almost two teams.
Drayton's Elite Trial. What is your team?
My team was Skeledirge, Annihilape, Garchomp, Azumarill, Guardevoir, Ceruledge
Worked fine for the Main game + both DLC
Edit: for the terrarium trial i caught the following 6
Tauros
Rillaboom
Incineroar
Kleavor
Excadrill
Alolan Ninetales
Further options I tried were
Infernape
Swampert
Lapras
Rotom
Greninja
Granbull
Haxorus
Metagross
Electabuzz
Scrafty
Talonflame
Porygon Z
My team I used for a first playthrough was, Meowscarada, Clodsire, Klawf, Rabsca, Tinkaton, Cetitan.
My team for Violet:
Quaquaval
Ceruledge
Baxcalibur
Espathra
Glimmora
Titan Iron Treads
As someone whose favorite type is the bug type, I was pumped when I saw Lokix. Awesome design, typing and its viability. Not to mention a cool shiny. It’s one of my favorite new mons introduced in Paldea, along with Tinkaton (also, I like Tinkatuff too lol)

I just bought this game today, the timing is on point !
I like this team! I bet I would’ve used a different Water type like Dondozo, of course! 😊

I’m really looking forward to using Pawmot next time I play Violet

I would include both armarouge and ceruledge depending on version for armarouge modest nature and go nuts with it
Suggestions: Skeledirge, Pawmot, Lokix, Arboliva, Tinkatok and Palafin Hero Form.

Awesome!!!❤❤💯💯
Gigaton hammer then protect is goated. You could also have a Pokémon use hyper beam then protect as well.
I've gotta battle my friend soon using just gen 5 pokemon. Any suggestions? I can use 2 legendaries only. What moves would you use?
I used Meowscarada/Flamigo/Belibolt/Tinkaton/Armarouge/Gargancl/ It worked out rlly well for me.
This is a nice team, but can someone tell me the specific move set for this team please?
Ill proudly say I will use a transfered oshawatt as my water Mon instead of Palafin
A powerful move that can't be used twice in a row combined with Protect. Why didn't I think of that?
I know Skeledirge is pretty bulky but I'd prefer it in nuzlockes if it's possible 😂😂😂
Since even base ability meowscarada and floragato are so frail overgrow activates so quickly to nake seed bomb and flower trick 1 shot enemies
Where the heck is my boy Gholdengo? It can take a while to get, yes, but that guy wipes the floor with late game opponents. My Gholdengo was a lifesaver when I went up against Eri.
Idk man, I never really liked slow pokemon, Skeledirge is a no for me plus Flower Trick is super satisfying to use.
Tying this team next after i finsh beating the game
I used flamigo instead of pawmot and clodsire instead of Lokix in my first play through. Worked out well. Good team though he built
Would love to play this but I ain't playing thru a slideshow again
Could you give us the move set for each pokemon?
If you don’t choose fuecoco, ceruledge is a good ghost fire type.
I used flamigo the whole time; absolute legend he is
This was literally my team minus the Pawmot and Lokix. I used Annihilape and Clodsire over those
Petition to make Gigaton hammer one shot birbs
My gardevior carried me through my entire run
This was a good team.
Best Team for each starter from other gens.
Use some mons from the dlc, try to not use that many repeat mons.
If I could get protean sprigattito (idk how to spell) would the team memebers change? Been wanting to do just paldean Pokémon and love this team but kinda want to use grass instead of fire starter
Can we have a team like that for every region please?
Yep!
Skedirge is an awesome one
I'd switch out palafin for Clodsire personally
Skeledirge is my fave gen 9 starter
Waiting for my boy Crustle to be in one of these
Skelidirge
Annihilape
Armourogue
Greavard
Kingambit
Clodsire
Palafin is a bad pick for those who can't do multiplayer.
Stupid gimmick evolutions...
I think this team might be worse. You’ll need to grind some.
You’ll feel rewarded for winning. I’m trying it.
How do you deal with poison types ? Lmao
honestly i just use annihilate greavars kingambit and any glass cannon paldean pokemon kingambit aupreme overlord one shot every trainer in paldea after your 5 mons faint
In each game I always try to not induclude other region Pokemon to my gameplay and play with native Pokemon come on bro new region new pokemons
Why we always choose lucario garchomp
Vice versa
Too bad the overworld Ability effects are scrapped. Now the Pokémon are limited to battles. No more hunting as their training.
I think I would take Minecraftmon anyways
I actually renamed my palafin into all might.....something tells me I wasn't the only 1 lol
3rd
That was a pretty bad team 😂
There's no point having a team in this game.

hello there, so I plan on using this team for my second playthrough of the game, but I have no idea what movesets to use for each mon.
