They actually played at Wacken Open Air in 2019! They are completely self-produced, no label. I'm linking their two most recent single releases off their debut album (dropped 2/18). welcome to the world of Folk metal..... THis band, as amazing as it is, is just the tip of the icebearg. This subgenre includes everything from metal combined with Mongolian throat singing to African traditional music in a metal setting Also I legit think Bloodywood is one of the most important metal bands of today
Unfortunately the European tour has been postponed (dam you Covid) but they were just announced in the lineup for Aftershock for the first time in the USA (Sonic Temple 2020 would have been there US debut and again Dam you Covid). There album just dropped last week and it is crushing it. Hoping it makes the billboard as the first ever for Indian Metal. Great reaction.
You should check the band Haunted Shadows. It's a brand new metalcore band from Italy and they just came out with their first single "Black Sheep". I think you're gonna love it!
Actually liked the tune.. agree with your anger assessment of the song. But I don't get the folk metal sound.. Disturb reference you made I would agree with.. But I actually got into this song. Thanks..
(day 2)I beg you to react to the music called ''Revisão | Overhaul (Boku no Hero)'' by Enygma, he makes geek music but he dont stays only on rap, he gives more a rock vibe, please give a chance

Word, there are bands across the word drawing inspiration of their local cultures and history. It's great, and sometimes educational too.
