this band literally go through different things.. Suicide, bullying, loss of family, other things....this band is freaking amazing. you have to go through many more of their music
And also angry. I never listened to much metal, and I never figured I was the demographic for it. I'm like, a small girl, I smile constantly bc I'm mostly happy. And anytime i show any anger I get called out immediately, so it stays inside. Hearing this music reached something in me I needed. everything I'm mad about is just out there, not said reasonably, just fucking said as I feel it. I like it for that. I think I should listen to more metal.
@@grasshopperye3593 I have read a stat that those who listen to metal are usually more happier haha I'm a short (5,1) male skinny and odd looking, so I feel ya lol
I absolutely love what this song brings out of reactors. There's a delightful "Wait what? OH HELL YEAH" that I've noticed my fellow women express right when the first lyric hits, whereas guys so often seem to kind be in shock for a second at first, but by the end of the song every guy I've watched is SO FIRED UP about the message and their inner heroism is just so powered up and it's endearing af and I love everything about it. This song really DOES something to everyone who experiences it. I'm so excited about this band and their blowup.
When y'all said "Indian Folk Metal" I was definitely not expecting to hear what I was hearing, that was absolutely awesome and the fact they covered that topic the way that they did was awesome as well.
This band is on another level of amazing. Leading up to their first tour of India, they rehearsed their show multiple times a day for weeks straight, so that when they came out on stage it would look like they'd been doing it their whole lives, and they didn't just succeed, they succeeded resoundingly. They don't shy away from anything lyrically, their instrumentation goes harder than most American bands could ever hope to, and the infusion of traditional Indian instruments into it make their sound truly unique. I personally would recommend "Gaddaar", "Aaj", "Machi Bhasad" and "Jee Veerey" for future reactions.
Awesome job psychos….every song is a message. “Gadaarr”, “Aaj”, “Jee Veereey”…..they have it figured out. Like an Indian version of Limp. Biz kit, and Linkin Park. Love it guys!!
All their music has meaning like this... they cover depression, loss of a loved one, suicide. They're music is sooooo damn good. I saw them live last Oct. in Chicago. It was amazing. You really need to do more. I'd do "Gaddaar" next. "Machi Bhasad" "Aaj" "Ari Ari" and more. Then they have really deep and more mellow stuff that's quite beautiful. "Jee Veerey" and Yaad." You will love all these. Every one is a banger. Guaranteed. Looking forward to more.
These guys are some of the best people on the planet to hang out with. I got to meet them in person when they came to Dallas a few months ago. I was meeting another youtube creator that I am friends with and they let me sit and hang backstage, and they never once before or after the show pushed anyone way even though they were limited on time to fly back home. Their music is such a delight to listen to every time and never disappoints.
For a bit of cultural context the lady painted blue represents the goddess Kali, who in many ways is the very embodiment of righteous fury. Legends of her throughout the Hindu religious umbrella depicts her as a Slayer of Demons, and that her righteous fury defends the Cosmos and the Innocent from Evils physical and metaphysical, and essentially from the corpses of Evil she creates more Goodness. That's a gross oversimplification on my part, but it does give an idea of the imagery that Bloodywood wants to invoke in their righteous fury against a, sadly, extremely prevalent evil in the world.
I had the pleasure of seeing them live last year on the summerbreeze festival in germany and will be seeing them again this year at the grassppop metal meeting in belgium. They have the same amount of energy on stage as they do in theyre video's. Its a real experiance to see them live. The thing that really amazed me was theyre humbleness. They love to be on stage, and are thankfull to be there and play for the audiance
@8:39 yes you do have to see them live. I saw them about two months ago and it was insane. Pure energy, perfect performance and oddly enough the pit had the most positive energy I’ve ever felt. They became a band I plan to never miss when they’re in town
Seeing them live is something special. The energy cannot be contained. You gotta love that mesh between old/ethnic sounds with a new/modern take on nu metal. The plus being the message in their songs being honest and powerful.
I saw these guys live for the first time back in oct and let me tell you they put on one hell of a show. This song in particular was a massive crowd song and the pit was just seriously insane can’t wait to see them again enjoy going down the rabbit hole guys 🤘

In pretty much all their songs they tackle a serious toppics. The whole album is worth listening to. They are awesome and i´m happy more people find out about them.
Hey guys! My next recommendation for Bloodywood: Aaj (pronounced "Aah-j"). It's a Hindi word meaning "today." It's a song that has not just beautiful scenery in the video, but also an important message: Don't let your past hold you back and stop you. Plus, what could be better in a metal song than a freakin' flute solo!? Awesome reaction! See you in the next one!
