This video was for sale years ago,,I had a VHS from this one. I saw them 4 times this tour. Dallas at the Cotton Bowl was amazing. They were so powerful, my ears rang for 3 days afterwards.I've watched this whole video many times,,every time I hear something different from Pete's guitars,,really great,,,great sound.
I remember watching this on t.v. It was an amazing treat. At one point Roger Daltry came out wearing a leaf's sweater and I thought I was going to burst. I was 9 at the time. . . I still remember the show though, thanks for posting, I'd love to get this on DVD somehow.
Kenny Jones,..the steady but hard hitting Drum style ,..Roger hated it and him ,..but looking back today , Rog was dead wrong !! Kenny has way more power going than Zack ever has,..
It isn't the power. Zak plays more like Keith Moon than Kenney does. That is what matters to Roger. Kenney warned the band when he joined it that he was the complete opposite of Keith. John & Pete actually liked playing with him, but I ultimately think John, Pete and Roger's favorite drummer from the post-1973 Who was Zak. By '73 Moon was fat, drunk and washed up. Pete had warned him numerous times he was going to get fired if he didn't start focusing more on keeping better tempo and such. When I saw Zak in 1999 and 2000, I thought he was fantastic. Of course he didn't have Moonie's personality and showmanship.
The best live band ever..n they r still rocking sounded great....my fav.rock band ever...ty

I taped it LIVE with my Betamax - The VHS copy cut out a few songs and changed the arrangements of songs.
