    Just listened to the video again it's been a while since I last did that. In the video Mayweather states that he is one of the first athletes to talk about Olympic random blood testing, however, he doesn't do Olympic random drug testing. As far as I know there are only two fighters out there that do Random Performance Enhancing Drug testing and one of them is Nonito Donier who has been doing it for years for everyone of his fights, the other fighter I cannot recall his name.
    Also Mayweather talks about Pacquiao needing to solve the Marquez problem and Bradley problem. Which if anyone saw the Bradley vs Pacquiao fight you would see that Pac won that fight and he was robbed by the judges. Also, Pac has already beaten Marquez three times, the reason why these two fighters keep fighting is because they put on wars in the ring and the fans are entertained, and win, lose, or draw the fans have a hard time deciding who really won...minus the fourth fight in which Marquez knocks Pac out.
    Mayweather then says "he needs to beat these guys before he can step into the Lions Den with Floyd Mayweather". Never actually having been into a lions den, I'm assuming that's a dangerous place to be, however, if Floyd is referring to himself as the Lion...that doesn't seem like it's a very scary place anymore, unless he is referring to the judges as the lions, since that's how he actually wins his fights is through the judges score cards, then maybe it is a scary place for Pacquiao to be in.

    mayweather can never claims he is the best fighter until he'd fought and beat pacquiao. mayweather is very clever, he'll not fight mosley when mosley was at his best. he will do the same with pacquiao. ali was voted the fighter of the century because he's never dodge fighter.

    • @brooklyn560
      @brooklyn560 10 лет назад

      @ sengchanh you seem to think Mayweather always had the clout that her currently possesses How many time s did Mayweather call out Mosley? here is what actually happened: Mayweather was very good & the pay off would be worth it to people like De La Hoya & Mosley opted not to fight him until Mayweather left them little financial choice. as for Pac why does May need Pac but Pac doesnt need May? Through out their Careers Mayweather has been the higher ranked P4P fighter the bigger draw & has the better record. Arum will never let Pac fight him

    • @pahsalarm7552
      @pahsalarm7552 10 лет назад

      I'd never seen any fighter dodge a fight like Mayweather did to Pacquiao. Make no mistake, the fight will be fought between these two. Pacquiao wants this fight because he just want to challenge himself. Mayweather also wants this fight because if he is retired without facing off with Pacquiao, he will be regarded as the biggest running chicken in boxing history. Pacquiao is still dangerous but his power and footwork is not as great as say 3-4 years ago (2010/11), when he was regarded as P4P king and 7 times world champion. A year or two from now his power and footwork will be even less lethal, then Mayweather will want to fight Pacquiao. you have to give credit to Mayweather for being cunning. Why would you want to go to war with someone when your enemy is at their lethal best (Sun Tzu, the art of war).

    The first time I heard a champion ask too many conditions before fighting somebody. Never heard Ali, Foreman, Duran, Hagler, Hearns, Leonard, Tyson, Holyfield etc ask that much.

      The more obstacles a Champion/Boxer puts up to prevent a fight from happening the LESS that boxer want that fight.

    Mayweather knows if he fights Pacquiao and loses, he'll be the laughing stock of the boxing world...why? Because he's talked so much trash and portrayed himself as undefeatable that one loss can ruin his legitimacy for the title of pound for pound king and his marketability status.

      "Lennox Lewis beat Klits and Lewis was only 60% fit for that fight. Oh and guess what, Klits and his brother are the Heavyweight champs. Lewis was also 38yrs old compared to Klits at 32yrs old. So your point is what exactly????."
      My point is that Lennox Luis beat all the great fighters of his era at the end of their careers never when they where on top of their game or at their pinnacle. Klitchko was just starting he was a newby, and he was winning the fight, until the doctor stopped the fight and everyone booed because he was winning.
      The same way Mayweather has beaten all these former champions, with the exception of Diego Corrales and Gotti, but lets face it Gotti was no champion, just a very exciting fighter who fans loved to see whether he won or loss, unlike Mayweather.

Mate, he has only last 5 total so I think you need to check your facts...He also ended up agreeing to the random drug tests so I didn't see where the problem was, only to see the Mayweather's greedy, arrogant ass demanded that he receive more of the royalties, which is absolutely pathetic. He is undoubtably one of the greatest of all time, but he is ridiculously cocky and self-centered. This interview portrays him just building himself up, even goes as far as talking in the third person lmfao.

    Marquez's losses to Pacquiao worked him into such a frenzy he was able to workout double time, he worked really really hard, so much the head of the anti-doping agency announced they strongly believed he was on steroids, but really it was just his work ethic, everybody knows that. At 39 years old he got into the best shape of his career and somehow managed to double his punching power moving up in weight after seeming to have no power at all in his first fights at welterweight.

    -"Pac said no"
    Pacman agreed to take the test before the fight, at the night of the fight, and after the fight.
    -"he went on other fighters for less money"
    Pac agreed for 45-55 split, still denied. Then Floyd fought other fighters for less.
    -"Floyd called Manny, no response."
    They had a conversation, nothing was agreed.

    People seriously need to learn what that means before trying to use it as an excuse. Floyd and Marquez fight the same style, even Bradley fights similar the way he defended against Manny. Manny struggled with both of them, I see no reason why he wouldnt lose to Floyd, sorry if you disagree.

    Trout, Cotto had 3 consecutive wins all due to stoppage, Ortiz had just taken the wbc title from Berto and had the biggest win of his career, Mosley was coming off a tko victory over Margarito, Marquez had just beaten Cassamayor and coming off a tko victory over Jaun Diaz, Hatton was undefeated and Koed Castillo in 4, DLH was #1 at 154 and coming off a tko in 6 against Mayorga. Do I need to go on or do you get the point?

    Pacquiao fought a drained Oscar, catchweight 145 lbs. Pacquiao also ducked Mosley to fight Margarito, didn't fight Mosley until Floyd beat him. Miguel Cotto was at a catchweight 145 lbs after suffering a KO loss, Hatton suffered a KO loss already. The one thing you can't deny is that Pacquiao has a history of fighting guys at catchweights and when they are coming off a loss. Floyd-canelo is only Floyd's 2nd catchweight. and he fights winners.

    floyd fought mosley when he was ranked #1 in the world at welter weight. when pacquiao beat delahoya easy after the weight drain. mosely called out pacquiao numerous times and pacquiaos team declined everytime and freddy roach even said in an interview that mosely is to good and better than delahoya and would fight mosely if he came down to 142 pounds.
    floyd fought cotto at 154 when he was champion and won three in a row with KO. manny fought cotto at 145 after a close win/margo beat down.

    I completely feel you, Marquez is a warrior and he broke manny up in those fights, his counter punches were sick and he finished the quadruple with dirty ko and manny's face on the mat. The judges judged the fights to manny because his style was flashy and quick, Juan's straights, combo's and counters however were far more effective in my opinion. Floyd made easy work of Juan and he would of manny too, but floyd's big fight is against Canelo, canelo is the only guy who stands a slight chance.

    Consider the timing of the fights and the opponent WHEN they fought.Cotto-Pac was 1.25PPV not counting Asia. At the time of negotiations, PAC was on par w/Floyd as a draw. Floyd wanted 60% of money up front plus ALL of PPV money over 1m buys. That killed it. The point is, Pac was much bigger challenge than washed out Cotto (awful at 154), Mosely and Guerrero. You know this. Both parties should have had iron clad rematch clause; if first fight was good, EVERYONE would want part II.

    That's because Floyd wasnt intersted, like I said he never took Manny seriously. It's all a bunch of media propaganda that leads people to believe he's a threat to Floyd. Manny didn't want to take the test, he turned it down for 5 straights and only agreed last year and decided to go back on his word when he said he was willing to go 50/50. The fight is only canceled when MANNY cant agree to the terms. Manny says he's the people's champ and doesnt fight for money, yet...

    Floyd called Manny directly on the phone after the 3rd fight with JMM. No response. Arum came up with excuses like "we need to build a stadium" "Pac's cut needs to heal"

    I'm really trying my hardest to like Floyd because of his topnotch boxing skills and his sense of humor. He's entertaining, inside or outside the ring, and that's always likable in a fighter. However, I really don't understand why he isn't pushing the fight against Manny when he says that boxing is business and he's all about the money. A fight with Manny would definitely earn him the biggest paycheck of his career, and a victory would only prove, once and for all, without a doubt, that he is the best P4P boxer and greatest champion of this era, or even of all-time, yet he doesn't show any interest in doing the fight. Why?

Most people say they have 'heart', 'a warrior spirit' or 'i go toe to toe' to make up for their lack of defense,ring iq, speed or anything that takes skill. Mayweather has every right to pick his opponent. Floyd doesn't just nobodies.
    Mayweather just beat the most feared fighter at 154, but you're still talking shit.
    So what about Pac?
    Pac ducked everyone from 135, 140, 154, and cherry picked everyone from 147.
    He fights fighters coming off a loss or tough win then he drains them at catch-weight. Most of them are Floyd's leftovers.

    Also Oscar was weight drained against Manny as was Cotto. Floyd never asked for any bullshit catch weights against them and Floyd let Oscar pick the weight. I don't think Floyd's terms were unreasonable for the proposed fight with Manny, it's just a case of Arum knowing who was gna win that and would rather make the money fighting 3 or 4 easier fights against fighters who he could dictate the terms.

    What does relate is in every fight Marquez had with Pacquiao he took a serious assbeating to stay in there with him, don't think Floyd is going to handle much of that and it doesn't matter if Floyd could hit Marquez or not, he obviously wasn't fighting him the same way Pacquiao would.

  • @jae21ful
    @jae21ful 11 лет назад

    Sorry wrong again. Floyd never wanted a cut-off, Pacquiao did. So Floyd tried to work with him. A clean fighter wouldn't negotiate for such strict testing! if he was clean he wouldn't give a fuck about a cut-off or if the tests were random. Pacquiao originally agreed to less than a 50-50 but said no to the testing, a couple yrs later was when he actually agreed to the testing but wanted a 50-50. look this shit up on wikipedia it's all there.

    Floyd Fought Hatton, Oscar, Gatti, and now he is fighting Canelo. Those were the most in demand fights at the times, and Floyd gave the fans what they wanted. Manny fought washed up bums the whole time. He fought maybe 1 or 2 people coming off of wins during his streak. The question will always be why didn't Bob Arum let Manny fight Floyd. Floyd is suppose to be scared to fight Canelo, and that fight negotiation got done really quick. Same as Hatton, and Oscar. Ask Manny why he ducked Floyd.

    ...you'll see Manny did the exact same thing in their other fights. The difference being Marquez never caught him flush on the chin like that. I didnt think it was over because I'm not just a casual boxing fan who watches fights every now and then. I've been in the ring before I know what it's like to get hurt when your opponent wont stop swinging cause he's going for the kill. Manny didnt beat Bradley either, alot of folks are in denial about that fight. I dont care how many people say so.

    He made the mistake of watching Floyd fight before the fight and got so bored he had to take a breather.

  • @blacktee31
    @blacktee31 11 лет назад

    Well if he can't beat Bradley and Marquez how do you expect him to beat Floyd who's faster, better counter puncher, longer reach, better reflexes, better footwork, taller, etc.? He just got knocked out for god sakes. If Floyd fights him and beats him now you'd all scream about how he cherry picked Manny after he lost. Manny has never been on Floyd's level, remember Marquez was supposed to be his tune up fight and he lost every time.

    As a fan of both Manny AND Floyd, one of the things I hate about the "floyd exclusive" fans are that they are extremely biased. So biased in fact, that they ignore the ever so obvious and undeniable signs that Floyd has constantly created new reasons to CAUSE Manny to decline fights with him. And when Manny swallows his pride and decides to accept, Floyd comes up with a new stipulation. So it looks like Manny is the one ducking Floyd, but instead Floyd is doing what I call "tactical ducking".

    He didn't lose to Marquez EVERY TIME, MR SHIT FOR BRAINS. I believe he only lost ONCE against Marquez. I swear Pac losing to Marquez is the BEST THING that has ever happened to Gayweather; It has given him the ULTIMATE EXCUSE NOT TO EVER FIGHT PAC. You Black Americans sound like you're ready to ADOPT MARQUEZ as ONE OF YOUR OWN. Once again, just because Pac lost to Marquez does NOT mean that Gayweather can beat him. And yes, Pac vs Gayweather would be WAY BIGGER than this fight against CANELO.

  • @jae21ful

    That's where I disagree with you, Floyd knows he can beat Pacquiao, Before Marquez KO. He's the smartest man in boxing inside the ring and out. He claim he doesn't study film of fighters? yeah right he studied the tape of all 3 Pac-Marquez fights. Floyd fought Marquez after a 2 year layoff and dominated, a year later he got to study Marquez-Pac 3. People can say how much speed Pac has but against Marquez his "speed" looks ordinary at least in the 3rd fight. Floyd can use his reach easily.

  • @blacktee31
    @blacktee31 11 лет назад

    You know how to read. You said that if Pac isnt such a threat to Floyd why doesnt he fight him, the same can be said of Broner. Fact of the matter is Manny isnt really a threat, there are other factors that come into play other than just "fear", I get tired of people saying so and so is scared of this fighter because the fight wasnt made. I can easily say Manny is scared.

    Maybe....but alltime greats bounce back. Hearns got caught vs Barkley in a fight he was dominating; Norris vs Julian Jackson....I could go on and on but you get the point. The only top fighter I can remember who never recovered was Camacho, and he didnt even get KO'd. He got hit with a right hand in 9th round vs Rosario and changed his style for the rest of his career. The change made him competitive but not great. Pacquiao, despite the KO, is still a great fighter with unique skill.

    If a Brawler fights slow fighters, he will still take punishments because he is always in attack mode.

    FLOYD: Random blood and urine tests.

    No your wrong. He was never as big as Floyd in terms of PPV. The numbers are available for anyone who wants to see them, I'm not making that up. Floyd makes more money (by far) and generates more money (by far). Floyd has the right to demand everything. weather you like it or not. He is also promoting his fights which means his company is paying for advertisment etc. he needs to make more money to cover the cost of the event, not all the money is going in his pocket.

    Why do people who dont know what that means always try to bring styles up as an excuse? Both Bradley and Marquez were counter pucnhers, bradley is more of a boxer/puncher like Floyd, but they all countered Manny and set up shots were elusive defensively, etc. So yes I can say that because Manny had difficulties with the two of them, that he would have an even harder time with Floyd because they all fight a similar style. He was the same as he always fought Marquez reckless, watch their other...

    The last thing you said is key...It was all about Top rank vs TMT...Floyd played hard ball with them,you can't knock for not wanting to be like many fighters who get robbed of most of their money and blow the rest...What do you think happen to Mike Tyson he got robbed....Telling Pac to sign with him(witch we all know Pacquiao would never do) tells you the real story it's about TopRank.

    he waited pacquiao to be hit alot so that he will take advantage and let pacquiao body weaken and thats what happend.. and now the fight i thought is no longer a wait because mayweather is a smart fghter he knows when the right tym to fights his opponent and he thinks that this time manny pacquiao has no chance of winning against him with the lost to bradley and a knockout lost to marquez,, even though he won his last fight with rios. c what happend to mosly mayweather and cotto mayweather.. after so manny years finally they fought because those fighters is not on their best shape.eventually pacquiao mayweather. mayweather win. hahaha mayweather is a smart fighter.

    In the very 1st negotiations Manny Pacquiao agreed to the money, less than a 50-50 split but didn't want to take random blood and urine testing that's a fact! Then later on Floyd offered Manny the same deal, Manny then agreed to the testing but wanted more money. It's not Floyd's fault.

    Interestingly theres 2 ways to look at JMM-Pac; JMM is a Hall of Famer, yet couldnt dominate Pac and was actually getting outboxed and was hurt before his KO win. Floyd will most likely outbox Pac. But Pac is a tough assignment too. Like Shane Mosely said; Floyd would win, but Pac's punches hurt. And this is from a guy who fought Canelo, Margarito, Cotto, etc.
