Yes, it needs to be said.
I can add on a bit more as well. All my life I have seen people in unexpected positions. I have seen INTJs in marketing and graphic design, INTP teachers and CEOs, ESTJ farmers (which is a fairly lonely occupation), INFP biomedical engineers, and so on. I actually find such people very interesting because they tend to perform these roles differently than has traditionally been done and often break through to new, effective techniques.

You are explaining things so clear and thoroughly. You really should have more viewers (I know it's not about that but you deserve to be heard by many). Having a sensor explaining personality theory is making a huge difference in the clarity of the message. A majority of the channels on this topic are made by intuitors and their way of explaining is sometimes overly complex (at least to me as a sensor).

Im pretty sure I'm an IxFP. To your point, I work in management, and the experience is similar to what you described. (My motives were a bit different though.)

Nonsense! We all know someone must be an istp because they fixed a car!!!!
Also, can we talk about those who type their parents estj or istj because they tried to discipline then?

I think one of the main reason of this problem might be that most people call these categories "personality types", but it's rather "psychological types",
just like Jung wrote in his book.
So MBTI/Socionics/etc are talking only about our psychological pre-wiring so to say, and not our complete personality,
so the thing that many people tend to forgot is that
it has a really low chance to predict different behaviors from psychological pre-wiring type (a.k.a. from knowing somebody's MBTI type).

Very true. I spent 3 years in the funeral industry purely because I wanted to know how it worked. I’m an ISTP
