Beautiful collection! It’s a favorite of mine….I have service for 12 from my grandmother, that my mother added too. My mother located the chowder bowls, a low flat bowl with a wide rim:). Thanks for sharing!😊

I have the blue creamer. In the tail end of remodeling our 100 yr old brick home kitchen farm style with distressed white cabinets. Walls painted an antique blue so I always have my eyes open for that blue.

Love the blue Moderntone. One of my few family pieces is a blue custard cup. To me it is not a punch cup unless you have the punchbowl. Mom said it was free in laundry soap. It's also one of the reunited orphaned cream-and-sugars I've found.
Funny story Scott; my first name is Estella, when I was a baby a friend of my parents said that when I got older people would call me Estie. The other day when you did that video about the organ I had just woke up, and you are the first thing I turned on, and you said" here I am in front of the old Esty." I am 65, I was like, WHAAAT? Lolol!

Cream soups are definitely rara avis. A clue to their presence in an estate sale or auction listing lurks in the silverware: watch for the big round soup spoons. (The big oval spoons are for the clear soups, or so my great-aunt informed me, many years ago. She had both. She also had special dessert spoons for ice cream. She entertained in another world, long ago and far away.)

It’s fun, but frustrating when you have more projects than hours in the day. I have various dollhouse projects, books to read, and planing an 18th century dress to wear. It’s also summer, so I want to be outside, walking at the parks or at the ocean. On top of that I work full time.
I’m thinking you don’t want to part with that dollhouse. I wouldn’t want to.

In other news,, i found my very first american brilliant , small but perfect, not even a flea bite , in the spca thrift store bottom shelf and i was only there for 10 minutes before an appt and thanks to your video i spotted it right away, i am so "chuffed" i found my own, Yes our habitat for humanity has a special section for brilliants but that kind of takes the fun out of it. I will continue learninng from your video , but its only for me not resell.

Wow I just found a box of it just liked the colors it had a plate of each color, cups/saucers, salt/pepper, cream soup bowls, & desert or salad plate, & sugar creamer(no lid) for $100 no chips cracks or damage. Was that reasonable price for the set?
