Hi Dauminique, any easy trick for keeping track of your loads is to write the dump time, or load time, instead of a check mark. Than you can double check your round trip times and see if you missed a load.
I got a notebook and do exactly time loaded at site then write time when I offload. Good way to track loads and if a bossman says something about taking too long for turnover times it's all there in black&white !
Thank you Joe biteme for high oil/fuel prices
Love listen and watching her such a sweetheart ❤ never see her mad
Lots of loads, but easy on the truck. Like your 'Green" gauge lites.
Now that you're an owner you'll learn to appreciate those short hauls, you don't burn nearly as much fuel and your tires last longer and your fuel taxes are cheaper because of the short miles. I figure on a job like that it's basically like getting a $150 to $200 per day bonus. On the oil my nephew works for a national truck parts chain and told me they had 55 gallon barrels of oil for $406 this last fall so I bought one now I wished I bought 3 or 4 cause if you can find it they're like almost $1,000.
Im not a owner but i do appreciate short hauls so the boss saves fuel, tires, etc etc.
Dauminique, was watching Gentry and sons u-tube channel and gave you a shout out on how to dump a truck the right way told people from his channel to check your channel out
When you work for yourself its so much better you feel so great
Wow. the kids did the same stuff when I was a kid in the 80's. damn nothings changed lol
Support the Freedom truckers 🇨🇦🚛🇨🇦 ❤️
Really love these new trucking clips, watching you shift was great! The 800 sounds amazing!
Thanks!
Hey there, love you taking me for a ride. So listen don't drop your oil. If you are purning a half gallon a day you are changing your oil continuously. Just throw a new filter in and keep on keeping on. Love traveling with you
I love your stories! 👍
There should be a set screw on that lever to hold it in place, but you probably know that by now! Cool things are going smooth for you!
Great video girl !!! I'm the old former owner/operator guy from N.H. that tried to warn you about your stacks a few days before you burned your forearm ! And yes, I love the sound of them, even through the camera. Looks like you had a really good day. I know those kinds of days are boring, but really good on fuel usually. You are so smooth with that truck, it should serve you well. Keep up the good work, and I'll be waiting for the next video.
great video enjoyed watching 35 loads that's a busy day glad truck is working good for you love the sound of those pipes drove for almost 50 years and never was aloud to do anything with the exhaust take care have a great weekend
“Hello”. Lol loved that!
Hey Love it , Small world and just watching Gentry & Sons Trucking channel and they were giving your channel a shout out ! I chuckled , Been watching both channels for a while ! Thanks For Sharing !!!!
Keep building in Duvall and Carnation and just adds to the flooding in the Valley when the Snoqualmie River floods people are stranded on the hills with flooded roads. I use to deliver in the area in the mid 70s.
The tick tock trend was calld the devious lick challange. The schools here in iowa had the same problem. They also had the slap a teacher challange & bomb threat days. Tick tocs a active attack on our kids & schools. Your channels cool. Riding in the cab gives ya a sense of what its like driving. Rock on!🇺🇸
I was born in 84 in Duvall, a bunch of my family is still around there. My grandparents and 9 kids lived in the second house ever built in that that town right up at the lake. Grandpa was the fire chief for a couple years in the 60’s and was on the fire department for 38 years. As a lil kid we lived right next to the bank and the original Auto parts store/saw shop. Things were different back then.
Very different
Your Grandpa must be Ed?
@@khawley6351 yes
sweet. in 2005, I hauled 92 loads of clay onsite one day. Just me, a track loader and a dozer. tried to haul 100 but got dark. Great videos. Best of luck. Brian (Chicago)
Great video Dauminique
Look for a “traffic light finder” on ebay and you will find a selection of prisms that would eliminate the need for you to look under your windshield visor to see a traffic light. When I was a kid we had a 1953 Pontiac with a visor and it had a prism to see when the light turned green. Very simple technology that can still make life easier. You’re welcome! 😉
Thank you for the video , I'm glad things are going good for you , stay safe out there .
The truck is sounding strong!
Much respect to you and your new endeavor.
I don't know a whole lot about trucks but it looks like you are enjoying. But one thing though I used to think that everyone in America is very rich and do only high-end jobs. A pretty girl like you doing a dump job that's crazy but your video shows that you are enjoying and I'm sure you are a down-to-earth person. I'd love to be your friend. One more thing, I loooove the sound of your truck.
I'm happy that you are hanging in there Dauminique. Keep on trucking.
Glad you are keeping your truck busy. Hope you don't have problems getting paid. My wife is a pediatrician and said too many parents want to be a kid's friend. Kids need to be held accountable.
Typical 45 to 90 days to get paid. Hopefully it starts coming in soon.
@@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver wow that's crazy they expect you to eat that much time, our trucks get paid every week here with all of the companies in our area.
@@clydeacor1911 that’s nice! I wish it was like that here.
Funny, dont know many truckers that put on lip gloss waiting on a load!!! Impressed how you handle the mans world!!!
Hi Dauminique,
It’s nice to hear you had a great day.
Hi Dauminique - Wow I love the colour combination of the blue with your grey Top. Beautiful.
Always great seeing how you drive and work through the gears. Keep up all the good videos and hope your son's school issues are sorted out. 🇿🇦🇿🇦
Awesome, like to see you driving and doing this work. You have a way about you that keeps people watching. Nice
So glad you are having a wonderful day, love watching your videos, 👍
Happy 4 U it's a good day Daum! Short hauls R easy on fuel & tires & that's a nice plus. Glad the work is coming. Thx for 2day's windshield time.
That turbo whistle never gets old wish I had that loud of a turbo in my 6.0 power stroke keep on trucking dauminique
yea i pooped when i got oil for my last oil change at $29 a gallon.
+1 for the 18 speed transmission. Thanks for sharing the video.
Great video 👍
Your happy because you are in your own truck. Doing a awesome job 👏.
Awesome job. Thank you for sharing
Your doing a fine job!
I proud of you.. great job well done 👏
Hey Driver enjoy your channel about dump driving in NW. I noticed your channel after visiting my daughter in Olympia WA, I live in southern Ontario, I've driven many 3406, 3306, c12, c13's over the years in equipment and trucks most had a spot on the dipstick just above add where they liked there oil level some even a little below. My grandfather was a cat skinner dieselspecifically have a sweet spot and if your filling over that amount EVERY DAY your throwing your pearls to the swine. PS You will probably have to remove the boot to tighten the set screw in hoist control lever. Cheers
Sounds like an almost perfect site work scenario, short dump rounds equals less wear and tear on the truck as well as less fuel use. Having a good Track hoe operator and a good helpful work crew all combine to make for a good and profitable day of trucking. The only thing is if too many short run days get strung together they tend to get pretty boring. The truck sounds strong and looks great, nice and clean inside and out, it sure does help to present a professional image. Keep up the good work, and good things are bound to come your way.
That is awesome an good to hear. Keeping it busy is good. 🙂
My wife is a teacher in middle school. Kids attempted to steal a toilet. They broke it off the wall and left it in the bathroom. Not sure why they thought they could sneak out with it in a back pack or something. There was also a tiktok challenge hit a teacher. One of the teachers was hit and the a 14 y/o kid was arrested and expelled.
ran 18 speeds in floaters, really worked well for options of application rates and field conditions!
You go girl! No parts running today.
Nope!
Funny, 10:40 the Blue parrot headset. We all have it and they all look the same, no foam padding left on the mic, mine is missing the cushion from the earpiece too lol
On the clock...yee haw..round n round n round...in the top..out the back...a good days work....enjoy...
Hi I enjoy listening to you it is awesome that you drive a truck an your story an your family God bless an take care g man
Hmm! Okay then yes big smiles on days when your truck is running good and no problems! Yes worked with a buddy in the same area during my pneumatic tanker days was always seeing who could get those load number high in a week. 25 loads plus was a good week. #keepontruckin 😉👍🏼💯
Good post. Especially enjoyed the camera that allowed seeing you shift. There is a lot going on with that truck. It's fun to see how you handle it. Thanks!
Thank you!
That feeling is being self employed and making money. You made the right move and will have more days like this in your future.
That's one of the nice things about an 18spd, you can pick gears even in the low side of the tranny. In my 29yrs of driving semi, the 18spd was my favorite. Glad your day went so well. Keep safe!
It’s my favorite too
When I ran pit work , I used a tally clicker to keep track of my loads. You go Super trucker !!!!🤣
Glad you’re getting good work!
Me too!
Glad you had a great day. 35 loads wow. Crazy about the hard to find oil. Nice video !!
Thank you!
Nice shifting, you are so smooth! Love the truck, nice looking. 👍🏻
Haha thanks
I'm glad you had a great day you deserve it
New clutch looks to be working out.
I use a load. counter screwed to my center console. Works great!
"O'l Derty" definetly puttin in work today!! Have a great weekend Dauminique.
Great shifting. That peterbilt seat is what keeps you going 👍
😂😂😂 I got that off a friend
We used to call loading like that round robbins. Some days it was great other days not so much. Had a truck years ago the used half a gallon a day of oil, boss told me to let it go till it was a gallon low then only add a half gallon. Went from adding every day to only once a week running it half gallon low. It was a small cam Cummins I believe. Thanks for the videos.
Really enjoy your videos Dauminique I'm sure glad you got that clutch fixed. Quit pulling on that lever you might really break it good🤣🥰
Lol I have to!
Nice..... your right about the area up there.... same going on here in Smokey Point too!
Lots of shifting and backing up on short hauls. You’re a good driver. 😁😁
Glad to see good things are happening.😊😊
Thank you
And just like that, your a working owner operator! 🤘
I liked driving a dump truck stayed WARMER
Super video made my Friday.
Pretty! Pretty! Pretty!
I love trucking
The interior of that truck is in amazing condition for a 03👍
My kid spent most of the day looking for Delo 15W 40. Ended up finding Some in BLAINE. Had no idea there was oil shortage
It looks like Walmart is selling it at Rollback prices, Delo 400 SDE for $16.97 per gallon. I don’t know if they’ll let you order it online, at the Rollback price. The only physical store that has it in stock was the Lakewood Super Center, with a quick scan.
Great video. I learned Baker Tank today.
Thanks
Great video
HI Dauminique, Thanks for posting the videos. I am thinking about getting my class B and driving tri-axel dump truck once I retire from my current career, so this is a really interesting video series to watch. When did y'all start having oil / fuel shortages on the west coast? I started having trouble finding oil filters for GM vehicles here about 6 months ago, but so far oil itself hasn't been an issue. Diesel is $4.77/gallon in northeastern Pennsylvania.
Nice one and looking lovely
I own a dump truck also used to use a little push button counter to keep up with loads keep up the good work
There is a shortage of Rotella oil here we went to using Delo. I did alot of short hauls we had those counters that you pushed a button on to keep track. One old truck i drove had a wire with washers on it you slid a washer to one side every time you made a load.
We all did dumb stuff but the now there is no ass whoopings.
Great video as usual. I love the fact that you keep your truck clean on the inside. Stay safe and healthy. 🙏👍🏻💕🇱🇷
Thank you!
Good job. Watch the lever you don't know your own strength 😂😂. Take care and have a blessed weekend and I'll see you on your next vidja.
Haha right?
Your green lights are growing on me I am starting to like them
That is so crazy, 35 trips in a day, good job! I hauled cars (don't ever do it!) and refer food, can't imagine that many trips. Go girl Go.
Hmm! Yes that's right pulled refer wagons for about 4yrs. 😉💯
I'm sure the day flies by
Listen to that turbo spool! Awesome video! Gentry and Son's sent me over!
You seem so passionate driving all day enjoy
I am!
Love your channel
New to channel, glad things going well, truck 🚚 sounds great..so 👌
The Cutest Dump Truck Driver
That's how you get it done good job stay safe and hammer down 👍
You too!
Well at least you are doing something besides. It sitting.at home All day waiting on the work to do be safe out there Young lady 💐
I believe the reason you felt good and happy this day was because you are finally getting some steady work instead of the here and there, and the truck is working good, and people are treating you well.
Ha it’s still here or there
Wow here in P.A. it's cheaper to buy oil bulk by the drum than the jug. Crazy at least for rotella.
A decent truck will make you proud and improve moral.
Reads as your new truck is keeping you well.
