Jason Shaffer That might be the nicest compliment I’ve ever gotten on this channel. Thank you so much. We all work really hard at exploring this music while trying to stay authentic and respectful to its creators. It really means a lot when people notice. Thanks so much. 🍑

Dusty Ray Simmons - drums
Joey Ciucci - keys
Willie Williams - lead and slide guitar
Maaan... That's smooth. Great playing brother.
Great. Berry was more aggressive especially his solo while Duane was changing over to slide. Dickey did more chords in background. But overall, I loved your sound.
Great band! I like how you started playing Duane's solo from the studio version note for note, and then when usually Duane's slide part would start you go off on your own thing for a bit. Very cool! And your slidework is oustanding as well!
Dayne Peachman thank you my man. 🙏🏻
Just fantastic! Is that a 100w head on the audience left?
Thanks Aaron. That is my old ‘73 50w.
This is really amazing as if Duane would be reincarnated
Sounds like "Mountain Jam".
What model Geronimo is the Dickey player using?
Brian has had a couple Germino heads and I’m not sure which one he was using in this video. Most likely it was the Club 40 as I believe that’s the one he favors.
Probably my favourite dude on RUclips for Duane nerding.
Is there any way that we can get a cover of Duane’s tune ‘going down slow’?
Most people think it’s Boz Scaggs on vocals but it’s actually Duane, it’s amazing.
The solo starts around 2:10, there is absolutely no covers on youtube (like your videos).
Regards,
Les
Jack Clark thanks man. I’ll see what I can do. Thanks for the comment. 🍄
Absolute legend, keep up the good work!
Also, what year historic are you playing? I have a very late 2018 58 in honey lemon fade and it looks very similar to the one in this video 👌🏽
Jack Clark yeah, mine is a 2018 R9. I believe the finish is honey lemon but to be honest I’m not 100% sure. I just really liked the top and it was super light so I bought it.
VirtualWoodshed beautiful dude, it looks stunning.
It looks similar to Duane’s cherry burst today!
Jack Clark 🤘
Wow - you guys are terrific! Do you know how soon you'll be playing out again?
Hey, that’s very kind of you. As of now, we have no idea. We’ve had to cancel all of our shows all the way through spring. I guess it all depends on when the venues are able to reopen. Please check our website or Facebook for schedule updates. Thanks for the comment.
What amp is the Duane player using?
That’s me and it’s a ‘73 Marshall 50w. That amp is actually for sale at the moment. DM me on Facebook if you are interested. Brian “Willie” Williams. Thanks
The bird calls were weak.....nice job otherwise......
