I had galaxy A53 with IP67 rating. I just put it in water for few seconds. Moisture got inside the camera. IP rating will only work if the phone is new. It will stop working after 2 years. So please be careful. I learned it the hard way.
As someone who broke their phone cuz I brought it swimming with a waterproof bag that leaked, I'm kinda hesitant to put my new A55 under running water... Eventhough I know it'll be fine but still.. It gives me trauma 😂

In practical terms, there are only three samsung phones truly waterproof. You can't buy them, they're made exclusively for the military. I treat every phone as they are, water-resistant, not waterproof.

And after not seeing the animation that my phone is charging in the morning, i did blow dry it and turn it on and put it in the charger quickly to see if i still get that notification but it didnt show So i hope that everything is safe rn and its charging
Nah bro it isn't waterproof! Can't dip it in fishtank,my a55 got white lines on the display after dipping into the water and it costs 6k to repair..so use the phone wisely!

IP67 like the A55 means, that you can put it in water to a maximum of 1 meter (3.3 ft) for around 30 minutes.

No wireless charging and no video has helped me After a couple months I bought it, I am considering already to buy a different model (not samsung very likely)... I am sooo angry for this

Ofc if you put iPhone 15 pro max in the pool it will get damaged. Pool water has cl in it to keep the water clean and safe, but cl damages any phone
Salt and chlorinated water will damage it. So not good to take in the pool or at the beach in the sea.
