This video was so very helpful. I have never owned a Samsung phone before and just updated to the A55 from a Nokia 6. Your video has been extremely helpful in deep diving into all the various setting and features. I feel that I have a much great understanding of the A55 (and Samsung phones in general) and i also now have it customised to my preferences. I luckily found this video yesterday and so was able to watch along, straight after taking the phone from the box and switching it on.

@jimmiegomile8059 I own it for 2 days, and I'm glad for it, 120hz framerate makes everything smooth for my eyes, very fast reaction/ speed and overall much better than my previous one (A71)

I bought a new A55 and my computers do not recognize it when I plug in the USB cable and only the charging option appears. no MTP or anything else, just charging?!. I use Samsung phones all the time and there was no problem with connecting the USB data cable.

Ad restrictions is just a way for them to filter what else you like to see. Aka the more they narrowed down your 'interests' the more they can sell that data for.

Just like on any other phone if you close any open apps that aren't being used and turning down the screen brightness and turning off Bluetooth if it's on will prolong your battery a bit longer because all those things use a lot of power.

Thank you, since I am pretty new to android coming from IPhone, that was a very instructive tour through android! I set up my a55 with my iphone and it set the homescreen automaticaly to match the one on my iphone. Now I have a mess of apps on the homescreen, but I want it to be clean like yours - are there any shortcuts to tidy it up or do I have to remove every icon at once and group them manually?

You didn't mention RAM Plus - what is your take on it? I have heard arguments both for and against in terms of usefulness and drainage on battery.
To be honest for me personally, I don't use it that much. It can be useful if you're doing a lot of gaming or using advanced apps.

There's 3 for Android that I tested and like... of course the Galaxy Watch works best with Galaxy. Although I really like the Mobvoi TicWatch as that uses Android Wear. If you want battery life and style, the Huawei watches are very good.

How do you stop the A55 taking screen shots while its in a trouser pocket ???
Fingerprint Registration: Mine works fine until I get to 20%. After that, it doesn't matter how I place my finger, the device does not progress any further. It just keeps asking me to press inside the circle. But it never allows me to go on. It's simply stuck at 20%. So there won't be any fingerprint biometrics for me!

Awesome video! Please weigh in- Brand new A55 or pristine S22ULTRA for just under 150 USD more? (From a legit online store with a one year warranty).
I don't game and no social media (unless you count YT) But battery life is a big priority for me .
I get battery anxiety lol, I'm using an S7 that I got Used 2 years ago and the battery is kaka. I get 4 hours on power saving mode.
Am I being a fancy pants? I really like punchy ane vibrant displays in general. Will the A55 be "lively" enough?
Hmmm, that's a tough one. I personally would go with the S22 Ultra. For a couple of reasons. I like the stylus, and also, the screen to body ratio is much better, and also the cameras will be better. The downside that you might want to consider if you plan to keep it for a long time is the software updates... I think the S22 Ultra had 5 years of support

Worst phone a55. Bought on 31.3 24. Finger print sensor not working in just 1 week. Sent to service centre. 1st they said my tempered glass issue. After remove still same. 2nd they said software issue. Upgrade software still same. Then they said need to format the phone. After format still same. Now they said want to replace yhe hardware. Worst service by samsung. Refuse to exchange the phone which faulty in 1 week. Will never buy samsung again
