This video was so very helpful. I have never owned a Samsung phone before and just updated to the A55 from a Nokia 6. Your video has been extremely helpful in deep diving into all the various setting and features. I feel that I have a much great understanding of the A55 (and Samsung phones in general) and i also now have it customised to my preferences. I luckily found this video yesterday and so was able to watch along, straight after taking the phone from the box and switching it on.

Sorry, I forgot I had posted above. Yeah, the A55 5G arrived and the setup was smooth as can be. All contacts, bookmarks, and even 3rd party app map navigator saved locations all swapped ok. I did NOT use the Samsung smartwatch app as I wanted a fresh start. It is worth every penny spent and defo half the price of the latest S series phones. Fast Charger time is really fast at approx 1hr to full from about 40%. A full charger lasts me 48hrs minimum. It is lovely going out without needing worry about a daily recharge. The VolLTE makes the options to call when cell signal is poor more reliable. Screen scrolling, picture saves, etc etc are all smooth. Cell signal sensitivity is MUCH better than my old S series. In fact I now achieve cells connection on every occassion when at locations that previous I had no signal. I initially found the keypad typing harder than my smaller old S7 due to the SW struggling to decide where my fingers taps were placed, but after a few weeks I got used to it. I bought a simple and very cheaper wallet folding case that fits like it's tailor made. I also purchased a USB-C to 3.5mm headset adapter that also has a secondary USB-C port to be able to charge and listen to music (yeah, I am old school, no of this Bluetooth headset stuff cuz I got fed up having to put the BT adapters on charger ha ha) Overall verdict is PERFECT MID RANGE PHONE GREAT PRICE I AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT

I have a question that has nothing to do with what you talked about, but as a Samsung user with 12 years of experience, you might be able to help me. Screenprotectors...I bought from Amazon one that everyone in the comment section raved about, that wouldn't block the fingerprint sensor, I followed the instructions to a T and the sensor never read my fingerprints. In your opinion, what are the best screenprotectors for this model? I know you're a busy man, but I hope you can give me a tip. Thanks.
I personally like Whitestone dome. Its important to delete your old fingerprints and register them again once the screen protector is installed. That should help

Just like on any other phone if you close any open apps that aren't being used and turning down the screen brightness and turning off Bluetooth if it's on will prolong your battery a bit longer because all those things use a lot of power.

There's 3 for Android that I tested and like... of course the Galaxy Watch works best with Galaxy. Although I really like the Mobvoi TicWatch as that uses Android Wear. If you want battery life and style, the Huawei watches are very good.
Ad restrictions is just a way for them to filter what else you like to see. Aka the more they narrowed down your 'interests' the more they can sell that data for.
There is a settings for samsung a55 or all other samsung phone to use like a iphone without install 3rd party app..need to go home screen settings.. then need to go home screen layout, then select home screen only

I bought a new A55 and my computers do not recognize it when I plug in the USB cable and only the charging option appears. no MTP or anything else, just charging?!. I use Samsung phones all the time and there was no problem with connecting the USB data cable.

I set up my a55 with my iphone and it set the homescreen automaticaly to match the one on my iphone. Now I have a mess of apps on the homescreen, but I want it to be clean like yours - are there any shortcuts to tidy it up or do I have to remove every icon at once and group them manually?
Banking apps in India is not getting registered inside the Secure folder via OTP. Sim verification with the mobile no. registered in the bank is failing to proceed with activating the bank account.
Fingerprint Registration: Mine works fine until I get to 20%. After that, it doesn't matter how I place my finger, the device does not progress any further. It just keeps asking me to press inside the circle. But it never allows me to go on. It's simply stuck at 20%. So there won't be any fingerprint biometrics for me!
I loved your video. But I cannot activate auto blocker. Is any of it region-specific, or carrier-specific. Perhaps it is because having the phone for a month, something has been automatically disabled? I live in Bali, Indonesia. Any ideas?

I'm from UK my a55 has secure WiFi feature I went to the security and privacy in setting scrolled down to more security settingd it was there

You can register severel fingers under 1 fingerprint..
It doesnt just have to be one... I have always done that and it works..

Why do you need a link? Just go find a picture and set it.
