A380 pilots behind. “Wow look how small those engines are”.
But they still get the job done don't they...(g)
@@tomtalker2000 I'm even impressed with old B747-100/B747-200/B747-300 short and small PW JT9D engine, small engine but managed to lift the jumbo jet.
😂😂😂
Nice engine hum!!
Mmmmmhhh !!! It's very GOOOOODDDD SONG !!! The Airbus A340, it's a VERY VERY AMAZING PLANE
i like that engine sound......greetings from amsterdam
Edje Thank you! Greetings from London :)
1:19 5 APUs taking off!
Great engine view, and nice roar...
4150 rpm
1:17
Great filming and nice underpowered A343 TO.
A380 : why is your engine is so small?A340: it's average
1:29 It sounds similar to the Rolls Royce RB211-535E4 engines on a Boeing 757 yet I can still tell a huge difference
There is that characteristic background whine on CFM56 engines. You can tell immediately that it’s a CFM56 just by the whining sound.
@@757Superfan 👍
beautiful engine roar !
It sure is!
Great video! I really love the A340.
NYC Flyer Thanks! & yes, it’s a magnificent aircraft
@@TunisAviation Definitely gonna miss it. There's only one left in service. So glad i got the chance to fly on the A340 before they retired it.
GREATEST A340 CFM56 ROAR
Great takeoff. Liked and subscribed.
Taxing front of a380
The most underpowered plane ever but the quietest plane ever
Favorite moments within sound: 1:27, 1:31, and 1:57
1:57 engine without rumble
It's really low !
The engines: RWAAAAAAARRR
Mohamed great video. I will be traveling in April and with same flight. Do I need to pay airport tax when leaving Sierra Leone?
dauda conteh It’s included in the airfare
@@TunisAviation thank you for the info.
Sounds like a Boeing 737 on takeoff
That's weird. Big airplane but with 737 engine sound
It does. A340-300 has CFM56 engines in them, similar to those on the 737 and A320 engines as well
The a320 uses rb211 the 737 use cfm56-b

1:31 great engine roar sound! Excuse the rumble though.
1:27 engine roar acceleration sound
I obviously seen one from taking off at DFW Airport yeas ago
whats the subtle bang around 2:11 ?
Not really sure. Probably the landing gear as it seems to have occurred right at lift-off
Yeah i think that would have been the gear tilt as it took off
A340 engines are so small 😆
FS ADVANCED SOUND 2!!!!!
What a cool sound
A340 will never beat a Bieong 777-300ER GE90 (General Electric)
Is a Bieong something from China
which engine's sound is this ?
CFM56-5
@@TunisAviation thank you bro! 👍
CFM 56-5C, the 5a and the 5b is uses on the a320 family, the 5C is only on the a340!

It's crazy to think that this plane has the same engines as the a320!
In reality no
Dude you are here? Didn't expect that tho.
That’s true, cause these engines are loaded from CFMs so it would sound like the a320-214 which has the CFM Leap
@@bombayaviation6563 A320-214 has CFM56-5B4/P engines. The actual application of CFM LEAP engines is in the A320neo series
