All of the questions in text! Skipped any repeat questions/added their answers to familiar questions. 1. 0:41 Are all of the games unlocked from the start? Yes. 2. 1:08 The graphics seem great. What about the music and sound design? The graphics are photorealistic and the music is good, but nothing to write home about. The world theme is fantastic though. 3. 1:53 Can you change the AI difficulty? Yes, but you need to unlock the harder difficulties. 4. 2:36 Is there actually an extra game from what people have been talking about? Why aren’t they advertising as a 52 game collection? Yes, there is a piano “game.” Not really a full game, so it’s more of an addition. Side note: In terms of modes, there are games like billiards with modes like 8-ball and 9-ball options. 5. 3:11 How is the online functionality? Overall good experience, but did experience lag with certain players; depends on who you play with and their connection. 6. 3:58 Can this be enjoyed by hardcore gamers in addition to casual gamers? What about players that don’t know how to play one or more games? Yes. There is a touch screen option if you have trouble with controllers. 7. 4:59 How is the bowling? Is motion controls the only option? Side note: Clubhouse Games’ version of bowling is similar to Wii Sports’ version, but it’s made by two separate developers, so don’t go expecting the same thing. Docked mode does only have motion controls, but handheld can be played with touch controls. 8. 5:52 Any cool Easter eggs? The unlockable cards are based on real life cards Nintendo made when they were mainly a playing card company. Ignoring the fact the explore/tutorial section explains it, turning the piano upside down also changes into different instruments, while detaching the Joy Cons and shaking them can simulate maracas and other handheld instruments. 9. 6:34 Is the game worth the launch price? If you enjoy most of the games and have family or friends to play with, it’s a great value. Side notes: If the online is functionable at launch, it is still a good value. Don didn’t enjoy Ludo as there’s no speed-up option; making the game slow. 10. 7:50 Does online support random matchmaking? Yes. You can select up to 3 games to play and play single player while you wait. 11. 8:14 How much content is in the tank games? Battle Tanks only has 3 arenas, but *unverified* Team Tanks has more. Connecting more than one Switch does give more content. 12. 9:24 Can you play any games locally with more than 1 player? Most games can be played locally with 2 players. The games you cannot play together locally are the single player games (Sliding Puzzle, all 3 solitaire modes, and the piano,) while the following games require more than one Switch. - Dominoes - Riichi Mahjong - Hanafuda - Texas Hold’Em - Last Card - President - Sevens There’s only 3 games that can be played with 3 players locally and 2 games with 4 players. 13. 10:26 Beside the card designs, are there any cosmetic options? No. 14. 10:52 How many of the games have great replay value? Guess-timate: little more than half, especially online. And even so, beside a few, the other half have replay value. 15. 11:33 How are the tutorials for the more complex games like Mahjong? Pretty helpful; they start off with the basics, step-by-step, and have options for more advanced tutorials. Side note: You have free control during the tutorials if you like. 16. 13:22 How faithful are the games? Pretty faithful. But for the non-board/card games, they’re more fantasy even though Toy Soccer is just like foosball. Some games even succeed more than real-life. 17. 15:03 Is it true you can’t use a Pro Controller online? Not true at all for single player and online except for motion control games (Darts and Bowling.) Local multiplayer does restrict the Pro Controller. 18. 15:59 Is this just Wii Sports for the Switch? No. It’s more like the Wii Party games. Side note: This game isn’t a huge showcase for the Switch like Wii Sports was for the Wii. 19. 16:43 How do the controls play between tabletop and docked mode for the motion controlled games? Depends how you want to play. It works either way. 20. 17:15 Are tanks games worthy successors to the Wii Play versions? No. You cannot freely aim the tank like you could in Wii Play. More snack-size content than a full mode like on Wii Play. Side note: It’s more comparable to the tank mini game in Super Mario Party. 21. 18:13 Are there any references to other Nintendo games? One of the ‘World’ characters recommends all of the games that Nintendo has had a hand in. 22. 19:03 Why is 6 Ball Puzzle, a Mario Party 9 mini game, in the collection? There is more combos, so it’s more fleshed out. 23. 19:40 Can local multiplayer be played as “Pass n Play” with one controller? No: the game forces you to connect more controllers when selecting multi-local play. 24. 20:25 Can the undo button be abused online? The undo button is disabled during online play. 25. 21:16 Are there any co-op games? Besides Team Tanks, they are all competitive. 26. 22:06 What games can be played on the companion app? The only info is the companion app can only play multiplayer with friends. Everything else is unknown due to the companion app not being available to reviewers/review copies. As of review copies, any games with local play can be played online with friends (especially ones that aren’t single player and don’t have local play; see question 13.) 27. 22:58 How do you unlock the Mario cards? You have to play through the ‘World’/tutorial guides. 28. 23:14 Do you have to unlock the Piano? No. 29. 23:30 Can you save music you make on the piano? No: anything like that can be done on the Nintendo Labo Toy Con Piano. 30. 23:57 What’s the UI like? Simple, elegant, and quick. It is tough to know what games do have multiplayer options though.
Uno is actually based on a card game called "Switch" where a 2 is a draw 2 or play 2, 2s do stack, aces are wild, 8s are reverse, black kings are draw 8 or play a red king to negate it. Or at least that's how I played it
I'm surprised how many people missed out on 42 (the ds version they mention). I played that game all the time with my siblings. A lot of these games were present, but there were some others that were really fun. There was also eight player modes on some of the games. Go check it out
I miss some of the games for this that aren’t in this from the original. I doubt it, takeover, soda shake, rummy, and 100% what were they thinking not including these hearts and spades. The new one is still going to be fun, but seriously no hearts or spades? Wow.
The fact that there's only 2 games for 4-player on a single Switch is the most disappointing aspect of this game so far. (Bowling could have easily supported 4 players for instance, as could Yacht Dice) :/ . Gotta love NDCube
At last. The return of DS download play. Hallelujah! I hope they use this for other games and make a mario vs luigi 2 for the next mario game. I loved playing that on the DS
Thought this game would be lame at first sight. After watching all the GameXplain coverage I’m pre ordering it. Darts looks like it plays pretty accurate and yeah Texas Hold Em. It actually looks like if it does well they could come up with some pretty good dlc games to ad in the future.
Make it $60, add Stratego, Snakes and Ladders, Something like Battleship, A Guess Who game using Mii's, Scrabble, Jenga (I'm sure there's a creative way to digitalize it), and Cornhole. Then if you can make a copyright infringement-proof rip-off of Monopoly that would just be Amazing. That, or some sort of sandbox mode for people to make their own board games and share them online. (A stripped-down version of this could be available in the free version).
Yes, that would have been a good addition. It's strange that it was omitted. Actually, I was kind of hoping the game Go would be included, although I heard games of that can last for up to 16 hours, which may be why it's not included here.

Does anyone know how many of these games don't work on local multiplayer if I only own one Switch? For example dominos PS: 10:00 thank you 7 games are multi unplayble with only one switch local
My only gripe with the game is the fact that I can't bet whatever I want in Texas hold em, and the fact that it doesn't keep track of any online stats like win percentage, being able to view other people's online stats, let alone any sort of ranked mode so I can play with people around my skill level.
Does it SUPPORT several profiles? This would be useful if the game has STATS and each profile tracked individual stats. But nobody seems to know or care if this has stats, records, highscores, etc.
I would have liked it better if the music from the DS version could have came over to the Switch version. For example, the theme when you play Dots & Boxes, or the theme when you play Darts.
I'd argue that Hit and Blow can be collaborative. The game makes whoever guesses right the winner, but I honestly never play like that when I'm playing with someone else.
I'm still very much confused by Hanafuda, but I think that's the kind of game that's confusing no matter what. I'm glad there's a feature that shows you what matches you can make that makes this particular version of the game playable, but I was kind of hoping I could learn the game this way, so I could play with my real life traditional set that I brought back from Japan. That's just not the case.
I know that only 3 games are available with 3 players on One switch and such, but how many games are available per player with a Switch? Maybe I missed it in the video but I didn't hear it sorry!

As someone who just got done sinking hours into Persona 5 Royal, I'm curious as to how the President game (which is another name for Tycoon) works. Does it let you configure the rules, like being able to add 8-stops or revolutions? Sorry if you answered this question in the video, I just want to make sure I can play the card game that Persona managed to get me obsessed with. Thanks!
Are all games that have online multiplayer at a maximum of 4 players, or do some online games only allow 2 players? If there are games that only allow 2 players, can player 3/4 spectate players 1 and 2 play? Last part of the question, does each game act as a separate voice chat where you can only chat in-game or can you start voice chatting in the lobby, BEFORE you choose one of the 51 games? Thanks in advance!
Can the Pro Controller work for all the games? I ask because I keep seeing Bowling and Darts used with Joy-Cons and, seeing as how mine broke, I wonder if I could play those with a pro controller. If not, I must question how Atlas made throwing darts in Persona 5 work with a dualshock, yet Clubhouse Games cannot with a pro controller.
I’d love to know how many games can you play with the touchscreen since one of my joycons died and you can’t use pro controller in multiplayer, so I’d need to know if it’s even worth getting if I don’t have controllers to play
If they ever made a sequel to this game on the Switch, I just want "Pentago" to be a game! Maybe even the four player variant of it too! That board game is super underrated!
Hate the fact you need several switches to play some games or play with lots of people, I mean most people have one switch apart from content creators and rich people
They explained why you need multiple switch consoles in the video. Games like dominos and last card require that your hand be kept a secret in order to actually play otherwise everyone is cheating. Like 90% of the games are all playable with 1 switch and you can buy a deck of cards from the dollar store for all the games that you can't play with just a single switch since those are just card games.
qwerty 1234 yeah but it’s a bit annoying, they could’ve added a way where you pass it round type in a password every player picks at the start and then it shows ur hand where you can then have your turn
Hey guys, I didn't know if this was in the video or not, but is the online for this game required to be played with only friends who have the game, or can we play this game with random strangers?
That’s a tough one with the switch light but joy cons are much more accurate with motion controls. Not to mention the hd rumble, it still surprises me how subtle or intense it can be.
I like the Mario Party 9 puzzle game but it would’ve been awesome if they had Dr. Mario in there instead, It’s a small game of theirs that they usually throw in with a package of other games, it seems,
Hey! Since I said I'd post a comment (even though we answered it later in the video): No, you can't undo a move online
oh thank GOD
so how do you unlock the mario cards to use in game
bankai productions 22:57
That’s cool actually
I wish more of the games were like wii sports like toy baseball instead of pressing buttons it would be good if we could also play motion

I really miss the different objectives you could complete in the original Clubhouse games, I really enjoyed that cause it made you play the games differently, getting more play out of them. Only unlocking different difficulties only make you play the same games over and over again. I also miss unlocking different themes and backgrounds.
I'm still a little confused if it has different variations of poker instead of just Texas hold em. I would love to just play standard poker
Does anyone know how many of these games don't work on local multiplayer if I only own one Switch? For example dominos
PS: 10:00 thank you 7 games are multi unplayble with only one switch local
Also I miss Hearts, RUMMY ESPECIALLY, escape was fun, balance, word balloon & fan tan. And Old Maid.

My question is: Is there customizable rule sets for each games such as Domino's?
Bowling not having at least 4 players is a crime.
Gamexplain! Thanks for the extra info.
How are the controls on slot cars? Are they just pressing one button, turning with the joy con or a mixture of both? Thanks

Without a sensor bar, how does the motion control aiming hold up in the shooting WiiPlay game?
Probably as good as any other time you use the gyro on the Switch. Sensor bars have been irrelevant for a long time.
Can you change the default rules for the online games? For example in the game president turning off things like "three reversal" and "downfall" etc..

Toy soccer in this game seems much more akin to foos-hockey than foosball, I'm diggin it
Are all games that have online multiplayer at a maximum of 4 players, or do some online games only allow 2 players?
I'm gonna play 51 hours and then just play on another account for the memes
Excited for this tbh
What’s the app called to play local multiplayer if they don’t have the game?
Thanks
Why. Is. There. No. Time. Stamps.
I’d love to know how many games can you play with the touchscreen since one of my joycons died and you can’t use pro controller in multiplayer, so I’d need to know if it’s even worth getting if I don’t have controllers to play
Is there like a ranked mode in online?
I think jenga would be a good game if they had a 52 game. The generic verison of course.
If they ever made a sequel to this game on the Switch, I just want "Pentago" to be a game! Maybe even the four player variant of it too! That board game is super underrated!
Never heard of that. What do you do in that game?
Does the 6 ball puzzle from mario party 9 still have that amazing music?
@@abcgaming8938 theres a reason why the game is 50 us and not 60 us.
ct2651 it’s £50 in England which is about as much as 60 dollars anyway (yes that means that other £60 games are more expensive than us)
@@abcgaming8938 That's a genuinely good idea for a workaround.
I don't know if this was already asked but; can you play last card with 2 humans without cpu's? Or do you always have to play with the cpu's.
Hey guys, I didn't know if this was in the video or not, but is the online for this game required to be played with only friends who have the game, or can we play this game with random strangers?
No you can play with random strangers (thank god!)
anyone else have the problem of 2 player option grayed out?! What do i do to fix this?
What was with that fade out around the 6 minute mark?
With the audio? An editing mistake haha. You didn't miss anything important
Ive got a question, how do you move your characters spot on the globe
how to edit local players names ?
Bought it and I thought it had "Go", but it was "gomuko". Kinda sadden by it. Others are fine though.
I'm bummed out that they didn't bring back Contract Bridge, Spades, Field Tactics, or Takeover.
Lauren Tyler I especially loved Takeover. But maybe there might be some future DLC later on.
7:35 Yellow could have won
Anyone know if Golf is multi-player for online? Or is golf single-player?
If Nintendo releases Wii Sports Deluxe for switch, I would buy it day one.
Yeah, something like WS Club, but with the Resort part added.
That’s a tough one with the switch light but joy cons are much more accurate with motion controls. Not to mention the hd rumble, it still surprises me how subtle or intense it can be.
Is this worth getting for my switch lite?
how to games work with handheld only? Does it just use a touch and flick mode?
Thanks for answering my question! :)
Hell yeah!
Mancala is awesome!
This is just showing how much people want a new ‘wii sports’
Scarlet Fey if they keep on, they'll pretty soon just make a straight up Wii Sports game hopefully.
I think I’m buying this one on download because sometimes I just can’t be arsed swapping out the cartridge 😉
DO ANY of these game track any STATS or HIGHSCORES?
Can you play games with friends online?
So...Action 52 with 52 actual functional games minus 1?
So no 4 player bowling or darts? Can’t understand why not
Is there going to be dlc for the game
I like the Mario Party 9 puzzle game but it would’ve been awesome if they had Dr. Mario in there instead,
It’s a small game of theirs that they usually throw in with a package of other games, it seems,
Can you play all games using joy-cons when in tabletop mode ?
Yes
Is there a physical copy or is it eshop only
Buttercup they show it like there will be a physical copy (which I'm hoping they do make too) But I'm still going to pick up this game either way.
Is there any reward for beating all of the games in impossible mode?
You get a slightly larger e-peen
Why have these artifical player limits?
