Desi hitting that notification bell never gets old. He is just so cute. Man, that is a nice site to come with the grill and fire pit. The closeness to the water would be my favorite too. KOAs definitely have something for everyone. They have really nice facilities. New Bern looks like it has a lot to do for visitors. Beaufort had some great waterfront. There is a lot to see and do in the area. The sites look really nice. Oh, now I see, you had a premier type spot cause they didn't all have a patio with that nice fire pit and grill. Be safe guys, Bill and DeAnna

Ha! He does enjoy it. We really liked the site. Not much in the area as far as camping so worked out well. Thanks for watching as always. Hope to be able to meet up!

We recently bought a used 19 fbs. We have appreciated all your in depth info about it on your channel. Especially technical stuff like the inverter, solar, black tank, and, well, everything else. We are learning from you. Thank you so much!

It is a nice one! We have a few that we really enjoy (the one in Travelers Rest SC outside Greenville is one of our all time favorite campgrounds!).

Went out on my first trip of the year. It started out as a complete disaster, but became a very pleasurable time. Thanks for your post!

Where did you head out to? We just returned from the Finger Lakes - crazy how cool it is for this time of year!

@@WinesPinesandCanines Stayed close to home. Yellowstone Lake State Park. I had a couple of water leaks, so I wanted to stop home to diagnose and fix the leaks before heading to Ottawa State Park for my second night. I was passing my dealership, so I decided to stop. There were able to fix my leaks...both were self inflicted. They charged me nothing. Been out again since. Got myself in a scary pickle! I figured out a safe resolution and made it back safe. Finger Lakes are on my "bucket list"! I will hit you up for deets if/when I have the privilege.

Well that sounds like a great dealer! To fix the problem so quickly and not charge - wow! Oh no - if you want to tell the story - would be interested in hearing what happened. Glad you are ok and all is well! Finger Lakes are a great trip. So much to do. Lots of hiking but most not Desi friendly as lots of climbing, stairs…. But absolutely - please shoot us an email with any questions!!

Looks like another great trip! I've been easing my new dog, Cody, into camping. We took a trip through Arizona over to Joshua Tree and Death Valley and back through Vegas last month. Other than destroying the driver side brakes on my tow vehicle (don't ask) and being stuck in a sand storm for 12 hours, it was a pretty good trip. If you ever make it to the Arizona/California state line area, I highly recommend Buckskin Mountain State Park. Probably the most dog-friendly park ever. It even has a dog beach on the Colorado River! Next month, we're taking a longer trip up through Colorado into Wyoming, Montana and the Dakotas. That will be the real test.
I recently swapped out my absorption refrigerator for a 12v compressor unit, too. So far, it's been great. Much larger capacity than the old one, even though it's about the same size outside. It does draw a good bit of power, though. I'm seriously considering upgrading my battery bank next.

Hi Jeffrey! Was just wondering how you were doing this weekend as figured camping season was quickly approaching out your way!
Glad Cody is doing well - definitely takes a bit to ease them in but once you do they are always ready to go.
Sounds like a great sightseeing trip but sorry you had such trouble. New brakes and a sandstorm definitely sounds memorable!
Have never hears of Buckskin Mountain - will look that up.
Oh - that Colorado/Wyoming/Montana trip sounds amazing. We were just talking today about our trips out west. We just has a follow up with a second cardiologist for Desi. She didn’t see as nervous about elevations as the first was but makes us a little nervous. But we would so love to take him on a bucket list trip!
Will be interested in seeing how you like the 12V over time. We have thought about it. Looks like Dometic has discontinued our fridge so at some point will likely need to upgrade and definitely looking at the 12V. But agree - upgrading batteries will definitely be needed!
Thanks for watching - appreciate. And let us know how the trip goes!

New subscriber - just love your videos. We love that area of NC too having stayed at Atlantic Beach a few years ago. Can you pin what type of dog stroller you use and if you are happy with it? Maybe a video on how you camp with the real star of the show, Desi.

Thank you and thank you for subscribing :) Desi's stroller is a Dogger from DogQuality.com They are a Canadian company. We ordered directly from them 4 years ago and then we bought some headlights (lol) and the drink holder off Amazon.
We LOVE his stroller. We had a less expensive one first and one trip to Savannah and the cobblestone streets and it was done. The Dogger has been all over the country, up the side of mountain (we really misjudged the trail lol), been left out accidentally in the rain,... They are pricier than others (we had found a coupon online when we bought it) but do not regret the purchase. It is so much easier in a new city to not have to worry about him getting stepped on or what he might be munching on under a table lol. He took to it on day one - we say he rides it like hes "king of the world". And, it has a storage basket underneath so we don't have to carry a backpack.
And we have thought of doing the video - pros and cons of taking pups with you. He goes everywhere with us and it is definitely limiting at times. But he is worth it!
What is your pup(s) name? And do they like camping? Love to hear about the adventures!
Thanks again for the watch and the subscribe - we really appreciate it!!

This is off the subject, but could you do a video on the geo pro 19fbs refrigerator? Specifically is it better to have a propane or 12v ? We have a 2020 with the propane but notice many new are going to 12v.
Is it better, or cheaper, or is it best to just keep the propane given the cost to replace? What are you using? Do you already have a video on this and i just couldn’t find it?

We actually have been doing some testing with different products for the fridge. Thank you for the idea on how to expand the video! We do have the propane but have see /heard info on the 12V so will add this video to our coming up list!
