It's an Ultimate Support A-Frame that I've added pieces to over the years. Unfortunately they don't make them anymore, but you'll see them pop up used from time to time.
Excellent, sending clock from the drum machine trigger offers great dynamic possibilities. I'll take your advice and try the same . Thanks again BrotherLoco ! Fat Rocky
FYI, I just tried this and it works as I thought. I connected an insert cable from the output of my drum machine to the Tap/Step input of the MuRF and played a simple 4x4 kick drum beat. When using the "Tip" end of the cable, it locked to the tempo after 3 beats. When using the "Ring" end, it manually stepped through the filters on each beat. One difference is that the tempo lock actually doubles the tempo. (Also FYI, I had to crank the kick drum signal to trigger the lock/step)
Hey Fat Rocky. Here's how I understand it (and I could be wrong). If you plug clock sync straight in, the MuRF will try and lock to the tempo. If you use the adaptor, each clock pulse will advance the MuRF one step manually (which is probably a better lock). I believe the adaptor moves the signal from the tip of the cable to the ring, so you may be able to make your own adaptor, or use a Y-Insert cable if you have one around. Once again, I'm guessing, haven't tried this myself. Good luck!
Hi, Thanks for posting the videos, I own an old MuRF and I don't want to spend money getting a new midi MuRF because of the Clock Sync, Do you know how to get Clock Sync with it? is it by plug in that step adapter they sell or just straight into the Tap input? Thanks Fat Rocky
Michael N you have obviously no appreciation for how complicated and labor intensive building and managing, not only the electronic components, but every aspect of every sound heard here and in what sequence they are arranged in, in order to become the beautiful sonic performance orchestrated by the maestro "br0therl0c0" . These are not plug and play machines ! These are sound making, sculpting and audio modulating tools ! A complicated and freely shared setup like this is somewhat like an electronic expression of the composer himself and he has been generous enough to share this precious gift with all who may be inclined to take part in this creative experience, ! FREE OF ANY COST OR EXPECTATIONS ! Your ignorance makes me sick !

Awesomely and intricately textured powerful sound !

Thanks! Yeah, easy to get lost for hours just fooling around. A great way to spend time though :-)
@mokuchley Thanks!
@rambamtjak Ha! thanks :-)
Nice video. What is the synth rack that you are using? I have outgrown mine and need something similar to yours.

How about a gear list used in this?
That is as musical and interesting as someone rapidly changing the radio station. God forbid you touch the keys on those synths and play a song.
Do you have that much time in your life to just hate on people?
