Wonder if @August West has complained of others opinions in this feed. After Jerry, there was "The Other Ones", got to see a show at Fiddlers Green that changed my world. Now there's Dead and Company. Another amalgamation of greats, so happy the band is still playing. In any form, the originals will always be the best ever experienced. The rest are doing their best to achieve what the Dead started, but will always pale in comparison. But I'll still enjoy every moment I get to experience. Regardless of who is behind the instruments. Shout out to my friends in "one man gathers".

There are no numbers but there are 222 comments...I love John Mayer,I just haven’t seeen them since 1995 because it’s bittersweet....Jerry’s death occurred while I was going through a heartbreak. I went to Vegas show with a guy I thought I would end up spending the rest of my life with, but he turned out to be a liar and many women on the string. The rest of summer Alannis Morrisette was screaming” You Oughta Know” And then while preparing a sandwich for a golfer at the 9 hole shack the news of Jerry’s death came on , I dropped everything froze and thought I would faint. The golfers were kind and patent and though they weren’t crying, I could tell they were moved and seeds had been planted inspiring them to listen to more of this bands music and my tears watered the seeds so they will listen for the profound meaning of the lyrics not just the music
See U there... these folks are my "I need a miracle everyday". Such a blessing they're still jamming. I have a pair of hemp shorts I bought on tour DeerCreek 1991, if they tour 2020 they'll have danced at 3 decades of Dead shows. Remember Brent Mydland's last show in Chicago Tinley Park? Or first show afterwards with Bruce Hornsby? I miss Jerry every single day...still. When the fellas play, one can feel him there...standing on the moon with Brent...but he'd rather be with U, rather be with U. If'n he could only have his rathers. Thanks for the blessed memories. I wouldn't be the same person without this band!
Fantastic... Actually the only DeerCreek show I ever missed was when they broke the wall to get in (I was in jail😪). Great shows at DeerCreek, they were always amazing at picking up that vibe & jamming there. A fave show, opened with Jack Straw, did a Maggie's Farm...but there have been so many! PineKnob, Alpine Valley, Buckeye Lake,...fabulous midwest shows in the 80s & 90s.

Going to see them in august. Can't wait
Thousands and thousands of people spending good money to come and see this concert and Bob Weir couldn’t even be bothered to put on some sandals what a legend
He also sounds terrible.
Called grounding or earthing.
It’s healthy and a key to his longevity
Can’t teach taste
To be a fly on the wall to witness the first time john mayer listened to a dead song....knowing one day this..... the best damn band in the land
They say change is the only constant. You can see that in action here with John Mayer (the change) joining the Dead (the constant), and the constant remaining constant as ever. Maybe even more so. They're all so great together and complementary to one another's talent❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
Dead is back! John Mayer takes up where Jerry Garcia left off.....and what a tribute...rock on.....
John Mayer takes up where jerry garcia left off? are you kidding me guy? a great tribute sure, but to say that the dead is back is a little much... enjoy
@@218maryland Yeah, a little much, but as you can tell: I'm diggin' it if just for a little while......
Can't wait to see them at Wrigley Field!
See ya there
Love it, May the Dead live on forever. Amazing 4k Quality display here.... You guys are doing the lord's work, looking forward to Citi Field =)
I'll be there also..
Doin the Lord's Work is right! Not even L itself has changed my life like the music of the Dead have
@@JustinRettig1990 amen to that, both have shaped my life tremendously, I owe a lot to each
@@grateful86 I'll be rocking a Bertha tie dye and some crazy pants and red sneakers, if you find me say hello!
Just 7 days til the 2019 Summer Tour!!
we're there!!
Unbelievably fantastic!!
They all know their places in the band but I love seeing them get all together playing !
This is magic
This is defiantly one of my favs, because Bobby is barefooted but also moves around like he used to ! Love to Dead & Company !❤️🌹☮️🫶🏼💀👻🙏🏻🥳👽🪐✌️😵💫😘
Who really has heard Dead and Company live that rocked out like that?
Was at this one. Even from a mile and a half back it was great haha.
He takes that solo,,,,,,,qnd he plays with it,,,,,freaking awesome11
Excellent truly grateful for this and the quality I agree phenomenal ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️🌹🕊🕊🕊🕊
I'd love a show released on DVD/Blu Ray in this quality there's so many people I'd love to show these performances to on a big screen that don't have the savvy for online searching etc
Mayer looks at home good for him!
I love the light show !
Was supposed to see them over the summer for the first time. Praying I'll get another chance
Can’t wait to see them this Summer!
The drummers have always been special !
I love this . I keep returning to watch it. so fun.thank you Dead and Co
Love hearing Bobby back on that vintage hardware.
John Mayer is a blessed man. Just saw him at Darien Lake last night. It’s a match made in heaven.
So much fun!❤
I was always glad I got to see the Dead even though through john, though not jerry, was enough, for me to get it, so thanks for all the time and sacrificxe that goes into making all this come together so often. I cant wait to see y'all play again
Great to see Bobby jumping around like I remember from the old days. John sounds like he was meant to cover for Jerry.
It brings back so many memories... but only what I can remember. 😜
Music and joy absolutely ENCAPSULATED here!!!!!
Oh my god I’m coming in my pants because this song is done so well ! I love this ❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹😱🙀👻💀🪐👽🎶☮️
Dead and Company sound great!
The rest of summer Alannis Morrisette was screaming” You Oughta Know” And then while preparing a sandwich for a golfer at the 9 hole shack the news of Jerry’s death came on ,
I dropped everything froze and thought I would faint. The golfers were kind and patent and though they weren’t crying, I could tell they were moved and seeds had been planted inspiring them to listen to more of this bands music and my tears watered the seeds so they will listen for the profound meaning of the lyrics not just the music
Got my heart broke at the same Vegas show..
Well, Bobby , the voice...givin it the old college try, anyhow...love you all for all time...
See y'all in Noblesville!!! Can't wait!!
@@jeffreypetro3803 I was also at deer Creek in 91. Camping at pine lake at the time! Great time!
I'll be in Noblesville too
Fantastic...
DeerCreek this tour.... fantastic. The kids they danced & shaked their bones!
Good to see Mayer just playing guitar! He wears it well.
This is just about the best of them with all the colors behind them plus they r a together band , playing off eachother as they should b !
Damn they are as good as ever
They r raving musicians !
Amazing!!!
this jam gets me every single time it comes up
I'm blown TF away
Dead and Co had a peak here. So good😊
