First Week on Adderall Done! Okay, so I'm now one-week into my therapy treatment and my Adderall treatment for ADHD. So I wanted to give you guys an update on how that's going!!
It's been pretty mixed reviews! I have had my ups and downs, but I genuinely believe the combination of both treatments is really helping me and making a positive change in my life.

I started watching this video and after 2 and a half minutes I realized I wasn't even paying attention to anything that you said. Let's try this again. I start taking Adderall in 3 days. Maybe then I'll binge watch all your videos haha

Hey Brother! I am really enjoying your videos. I was recently diagnosed with ADHD at 40. I also was prescribed Adderall and had a very very similar first day.
So glad I came across this. My day one, felt nothing. Except really sleepy all day and had headaches all day and night. Did not expect that. Then watching this it makes sense…I gotta stop the coffee. Hope once the caffeine withdrawal period ends, my week two will be better. Thanks for posting!

I'm on Day 4. This was so helpful. I had 2 cups of coffee yesterday, because.... Coffee. And I had awful nausea and overheating.... Hate that coffee could be the reason!!

I just ran across your 1 year video and now I'm watching this one I'm so happy your doing well on it but over the year you did loose a lot of weight ....I'm on adderall 2 months now I'm doing ok ....new sub..
Thanks for subbing :) I did lose weight but it wasn't because of the Adderall, I train for Spartan races so I spent 6 months training and doing keto diet to lose the weight, if anything I out a bit of weight on when I started the Adderall 😅

thank you for one making these vids i havent be diagnosed with adhd yet but im going for testing in like 2 weeks. And for two, PUTTING THE FUCKING VIDEOS ON YOU PLAYLIST IN ORDER FROM OLDEST TO NEWEST LIKE A CHRONOLOGICAL PLAYLIST SUPPOSE TO BE! I hate when people have a chronological playist and the first video in the list is the most recent how tf am i suppose to follow the journey if the damn first video is the last video?! thank you again lol

Cafeine addiction is a hell of a drug, I weened off narcotics but still cannot give up caffine and cigarettes, coffee right now feels like an extra stimulant on top of the adderall and im really really addicted to that feeling and without it i feel very drained emotionally and physically. Sleep has been a problem definitely. Caffeine was a controlled substance until the 20th century for a reason.

I'm going 12 turning 13 in 2 months, and have been drinking coffee since I was 7 ;-;
I haven't been drinking it that much lately ever since my brothers friends told me how unhealthy it is :P
Meds seem like a life saver, can't wait to see Month 1 :D
WhiskerZoo wow that's a lot of coffee!! you probably will be better off not drinking it :) I am! yeah the meds are great, they help with a lot of the focus, but the weekly therapy is just important if not more really :) it helps with all the other stuff medication can't help with! glad you enjoyed the new video tho! :)
I always love having a cup of coffee whenever we go camping and stuff, it would be hard to give up completely, but I'll try to drink in moderation for now :) Could you make a video of your therapy experience? :)

I'm on day 3.
First day was almost identical to what you described. Like, it was so good I cried.. I was able to power through work with hardly ANY distractions I had a cup of coffee which could have effected it..
The second day was a good day as well but I had a pretty bad crash at around 4 PM..
Today is coffee withdrawal day.. It only worked for like 2 hours the first time and 2 hours the second time so it was pretty shitty.

Stimulants amphetamine salts or like Ritalin, Adderall, viavance, concerda Mostly calmed me down and helped with focus. Now a days 3 cups of coffee makes me look like a meth head. Agree about not taking it on weak ends., thats how it was prescribed to me years back, after no longer beings prescribed it my mental health seemed to go to hell. I really dont think ill ever be the same or as happy as i was in those times. Took stimulants on and off since childhood. Feel like i lost part of my soul when i was out of school and no longer had a job, doctor stopped prescribing them after a hospitalization and tond me those two things were required and last i recall it was over 150 dollars for a single months script. Not sure if id recommend stimulants to people or not knowing how well they work but knowing not everyone is allowed the medication anymore and the life altering effects without it if or when taken

I just was diagnosed with ADHD and I started taking Adderall a few days ago. Has anyone ever had muscle twitching or pain as a side effects from Adderall? If so does it get better after a while?

I still feel the coffee more than the 40mg of Adderall I take . I also still daydream a lot but oddly enough am able to focus on my daydreams more.

On Adderall to, prescribed 30mgs immediate 2 a day
I am finding this all very useful. I have a question , im due to start meds in two weeks , however the nhs in my area dont provide counselling sessions , were they linked in your experience or did you have to go looking elsewhere?
I'm glad this is all useful for you! Despite my English accent I actually live in America now so I didnt go through any nhs sorry :( but I'm sure that if you talk to your doctor and ask them if you can get some counseling while you start your meds they would probably be happy to help provide you with someone . Most councelers in training are hired by the NHS to do their hours of practice to get their license so I'm sure they roovide some free counseling
The only other thing that is annoying me pre medication is when you tell close friends that you have it and they say " ive never noticed , are you sure? " , after finding out that I will probably need to minimise or stop drinking alcohol one well meaning friend said , " I wouldnt bother , id just keep drinking"
There's nothing that says you need to stop drinking, the only thing you should stop drinking is coffee, Adderall is a prescribed stimulant so adding coffee throws the medication off balance, but you don't even need the coffee anymore once you start taking it, as for drinking, it can be good for it, if you have a tendency to have too much when you drink it's because the ADHD feels the dopamine and wants more which is why you keep going and going, with Adderall you already have the dopamine so you don't feel the need to keep going anymore

I’m trying to figure out my dosage and what’s best for me. What were your dosages?
I just tried 15 mg first time ok I guess but I think concerta 54 was great while it worked only got 2 week supply tho so ill ask doc increase yo 20 mg
I just started 15mg IR Adderall I'm only taking half atm been on it since yesterday Im on it rn 7.5mg feel focused where I can read something from top to bottom for once

Nah I live in California mate
It’s not banned in the UK, it’s a controlled drug.
Controlled means you can get it with prescription from a psych, its not banned.
@@tmsphere trust me, unless you're going with private health care, they will not prescribe Adderall. All ADHD medication is controlled, but adderall isn't prescribed through the NHS because it's not a licensed drug.

@@metatron4890 Ask for an altarnative stimulant, Adderall doesnt work for everybody, depending on your system.

I take the name brand Adderall, I don't take a generic one, but I know lots of people who do use a generic one

How can I get prescribed adderall
It’s not an easy process, at least in the USA. You need to get diagnosed by a psychiatrist or neurologist and after that, you can show the diagnosis to your doctor and he’ll prescribe it to you. If you’re unsure you can ask your doctor
