That game was incredible. Mahomes and Allen is a great rivalry in the making. Throw in Herbert, Burrow, and Lamar and the AFC is going to be a dog fight for the next 10 years.

It shows the NFL is in a good place and talent is more spread out unlike the NBA. More parity. There was a big number of upsets in the regular season we've never seen before.

Games like the 4 this past weekend are the reason other football leagues never work out. All of the elite talent is in the NFL. After games like this no one wants to watch a bunch of guys that couldn't even make special teams or the practice squad.

As a Chiefs fan I was very surprised when Buffalo didn't squib kick it with 13 seconds. You could tell they thought they had the W in the bag after the Davis TD.
That kick could’ve went out of bounds or anyone could just go down with the ball and clock it and both of those scenarios would’ve given the Chief’s a shorter field with time left on the clock to still get one play at least.
And im surprised chiefs decided to score fast. I remember that being an issue in another game at one point. Probably was patriots my guess
They did not think they had the W in the bag lol the Bills punter has been crazy inconsistent all year. There’s no way they were going to trust him to not mess up a squib kick. He would have kicked the ball out at mid field lol

So you prefer NO defense. Just like a high score shootout? Not me. The pass rush was pathectic. The secondary was pathetic on both teams. They're in trouble when they meet their NFC opponent in the SuperBowl.

This game was an all time thriller
As Belichick says, situational football. Mahomes did exactly what he needed to do. The offense performed. They executed perfectly to win the game. That's what makes Mahomes great.
Whoever had the ball in OT was gonna win the game. Both defenses were exhausted and both QB’s were not gonna be stopped. The difference is that the Bills choked when it mattered the last seconds of the game.

As a Chiefs fan I was wanting Hill to go down at the 1, I've seen them lose too many times by scoring too fast and leaving too much time to great QBs.
It's NOT a perfect game. where was the DEFENSE? Letting up 36-42 points? NO Defense. And not a mention of it in this video

What a shame someone had to lose this game. Just great all around play. Both teams deserve respect for that one. One of the best football weekends I have had in a long time.

why is it the greatest game? There was NO defense. Just because it's a high scoring game doesn't mean it's a great game. It means sloppy defense. No pressure on the Q.B, secondary can't cover. Too many points let up on both sides. It was like a college game. They meet either Rams or 49er, especially the 49's they will get shut down. Defense always wins.

Certainly greatest game in recent history. Best QB duel I can ever remember. Did not want it to end. Looked light it could have gone to 3 am the without OT rules. No drops, not stupid penalties at the end. NFL has a polished product right now. The apotheosis of parity!

To tell you the truth and today I am totally runt from the up-and-down all weekend long of the games that was on TV. I had to stay in my chair because you never knew what was going to happen next or whether it was going to happen. And on the Josh and Patrick rivalry. We better hope the next rung of opponents, like Miami, and New England, and Oakland don't find 2 or 3 blue chip players or their going to be a factor.

Allen is a stud but my ONLY argument would be one QB went against the #1 ranked defense and the other went against a not good defense that also lost its all pro safety in the 1st qtr…. amazing performance by both QBs but what Mahomes did was a bit more impressive

My favorite part about this game was its ended with the players and not the refs. No team felt like they were cheated. I feel like that’s what it always come down to.

These 2 QB's are like Vageta and Goku. Both POWERFUL Supersaiyan's with similiar powers but one of them barely edges the other by a very slim margarine.
As a Niners fan, I want to face the Chiefs again in the Super Bowl. I want revenge for 2 years ago. But in the end, we still won't beat the Chiefs. They're just too good. But I'm also hoping my 49ers to maintain that huge underdog mentality.

The overtime rule has been a problem for many years. I believe both offenses should get the opportunity to score
The Chiefs tried to change the rule 2 years ago. The other teams shot it down. The Ravens produced an overtime plan last year similar to but not identical to the system of rules used in NCAA overtime, which was also shot down by the other teams.
I agree, and i've been on both sides of this coin. Both teams should get a chance.

the ravens had the most injuries to their roster this year and before Lamar went down there were in 1st place in AFC & Lamar was having another MVP season it’s not a coincidence they went 0-5 & missed the playoffs after he got injured
MVP season? He or his O-line couldn't pick up the 0 coverage blitz for weeks, starting in the Miami game. He finished with 16 passing TDs and 13 ints....how exactly was he having a MVP Season? And btw who cares, this ain't about him or the Ravens anyway. I just find it funny how we like to retcon history at times. They were no more of a 1 seed than Tennessee was...and we saw how that ended.
