Ummmm, how about just downloading the the video and playing it on your own player at whichever speed you want to proceed? Plus you get to edit out his annoying brit-schtick :)

Maybe make a part 2, giving us 5 levels of polyrhythms, including basic, advanced, 3/4/5 polyrhythms (ex. 2:3:5, 3:5:7, 5:6:8, etc.) and alternating polyrhythms. Quite the advanced study, me ‘old chap!

Great stuff, just became aware of your new channel. Back in the 90's, when I was playing metal almost exclusively, I took pride in being able to play Master of Puppets using mostly down strokes. That intro was brutal! Of course there were sections where I had to alternate.
I was a little surprised that you didn't work in the main riff to "She-Wolf" at all, I've always felt that's a very underrated Megadeth riff that can be a good low-level workout 😁
I will actually be signing up for a paid patreon soon. I've had some issues with some of the techniques you've shown here and it's just simple and makes sense which has been a big issue when learning. Hats off Sir Beanley.
Hello to you my good Sir, I want to let you know that this outrageously neat video helped me on 2 purposes. It will help my terrible rythm and it brilliantly helped me to put to sleep my 2 month old son. I tip my hat to you Mr Beanley Hallsworth
its been about a month since i started practicing this every day but i went from being able to get to triplets and sixthteen notes to the whole thing and having a much bigger ego this will always be a part of my practice routine
I am by no means a good guitarist yet but this helped me a lot! I covered a little too much Metallica and ended up exclusively downpicking every song I play. I've done this for a few weeks now and I've broken this habit! Megadeth covers here I come.
Awesome video. Cherry on top would have been a master of puppets level (upstrokes not allowed). Except what wouldn't have been all 0s on the top string
Love your channel dude! Recently got back into guitar and finding your content has been awesome. Wondering if your patreon is structured progressively for beginners? 🤘🏼
day1: got to level 6 but still not clean day2: mastered level 6, now practicing level 7 day3: level 7 done, now is the time for the hard stuff. i find level 8 pretty difficult even on 75% playback speed day4: can play level 8 on 75% speed but on normal speed it's still not clean. I need to practice on a metronome
tried my best to play along with my bass (i play fingers)... only part i couldnt handle was the 30 second notes. jeebus. great video, rly fun little exercise.
@@glitchimmo I’ve had to stop the flow of practice due to school and work, but I’ve squeezed a few practices in since. I’ll start again soon now that I’m on break.

Level 12: The kingdom sitteth lonely beneath thine hollowed heavens intro riff

I love how he picks with his pinky lifted up as if drinking a fine cup of tea. A true Brit gentleman.
This video made me pick up that habit
He's muting the strings
Level 99: Become a riff yourself, transcend through time and space
*smokes doom metal once*
Vektor riff starts playing
Level 100: become ALL riffs.
At that level you are playing for the “Most High “ the original music lover
This is an excellent video. Pleeeease, more content like this. I can't wait to go home to try this.

Highly recommend also playing this with your fingers on bass.
Gonna be using this as a right hand warmup.

My rhythm playing DOES suck! This is exactly what I needed. Thanks Lord Beanley! (Although 'Down with the class system' ✊)
This is an excellent exercise
I got to advanced gallops then things fell apart. Time for that 0.75x to get it down! Thanks for the great exercises.

For a few seconds I really thought this was just an excuse for you to sneak a djent jam at the end
Basically the most easy Fear Factory riff to the most technical Fear Factory riff
Going from Metallica to Fear Factory really quick
I think this is my new favourite song
Beginning: Yeah! I'm doing it!
Middle: Okay.. I got this!
End: Wt how many even was that?!
Normal people: what a cool warm up!
Modern metal: what a cool song!

Had to do the first half or so at music classes. Great compilation!
I’m confident that I could play through all ten levels but my eyes could never keep up with the tabs

The new Veil of Maya breakdown sounds good.
Innit this the new Tool feat. Meshugga song?
The release of this seems to be 17 year earlier than the expected.

James Hetfield: no upstrokes allowed

Good lesson. Gonna do it at least for fun:). Next one please with mixing it up with power chords or other notes

Had me in the first half, not gonna lie
I got to the start of level 6. Got a long ways to go but that’s alright! This exercise is really fun for some reason!
Day 3: I mastered up to level six. Time to start working on level 7
Day 4: I can play my way through most of level 7 but still mess up a bit, especially on the first one. I’ll work on mastering it for now.
Day 5: I can now get through level 7 without major issues. Level 8 is proving to be a challenge though lol
