Thank you 🙏 once I got the finger rolls down and the pick timing on the top and bottom strings for the hammer-ons, it all came together and I almost jizzed hearing what was coming out of my amp 😂
It’s interesting that you include the lowest string of the sweep in the upstroke motion. Most players stop at the second lowest and start the downstroke motion on the lowest string.
@@Katexgrace I meant that in the descending part of the sweep he hits all strings with the upstroke motion, e.g. on a five string sweep he hits the A string with an upstroke and then starts the ascending part on the D string. I‘ve seen some guitarists do it differently. They would stop the descending part on the D string and then start with a downstroke on the A string and go all the way to the high E string. I hope this explains, what I meant.
These videos just make me so like cheerful I love the enthusiasm and level of informativeness and it always makes me feel like I’m going to practice and become an amazing guitarist until I have something to do and forget 5 min later

Okay so I pride myself in being the worst guitarist on eart (in relation to how long I've been playing, it's more than embarrassing), I got a question: 0:34 - first bar, first lick: In order to advance beyond like 40bpm, I guess I'm already supposed to have good pick slanting technique when I "turn around" from the 11 on the G-string and go back up to the 12 on the B-string, right? Also where should the thumb of the picking hand be for this part? Thanks. Edit: Seriously, I just tried: At 110bpm is where I start running into serious trouble playing just the first bar of the first part :/
I do say my good man, I'd like to raise a query as to why ye not be using ye pinky on the low E in the 22 bar, might this be out of preference or necessity, as the combination of the 3rd finger & pinky are too slow as biology might suggest?

how do you suggest to practice? slow and increasing bpms or trying go to over personal speed boundaries and then slow down and clean it?
thats the common thing to do, even when you know how to play, it helps a lot.
