I thought the only benefit of moving to a grey screen is the better performance with ambient light and the deeper blacks. When completely dark isn’t the white screen better? Some online comparisons show that the white screen looks brighter when compared to grey with the lights out.

I dont know why It looks better with a grey screen. But my blacks are darker and my hdr picture has much more pop to It. But I may be just an exception.

Can you help me understand what the difference is, besides price, that you get with a much more expensive Screen Innovations? For my dark basement, with my 4K Sony projector. This screen enhanced the colors and black level of the Image. That's what I can tell you.

The screen will work with any projector. It depends on the position and angle of the projector. Your JVC Is a lillte dimmer than my Sony. But should work.
