The first time I did a deep clean, my ribbon cable was never back in the same way. I think it's twisted. Can you do a video on how to reinsert it correctly if taken most of the way out? Does the blue writing on the cable face upward or downward?, etc.

Im having issues with camera alignment in as much as the picture shown by the camera is not where my engraving ends up. Can you help please? I did all that, and the laser hub came off track and now is shaky and loose. can't get the cover back in place over the fan. Had the Qx14 issue right out the box.
8:19 In addition to the way in the video, you can also hold the laser head and then turn the machine back on, the laser head will also automatically reset, such an operation does not require the use of windows computer. Hope it can help you.
Would you happen to know how to fix the framing? i cleaned mine the simple not deep clean and now its not framing with my imagines. This is not my first time cleaning it.
I see you have a lot of videos. I am new. I just bought my M1 less than a month ago and my laser module is making a loud noise. I have tried so hard to get through to technical support and everything is done through email. Any ideas of what’s going on with it?
If it's making noise when it moves to the left rear corner, then the chances are that your air assist hose is getting behind the laser module or gantry. It would be best if you joined the "xTool M1 Official Group" on Facebook. People can help with your problem there. A photo will show if the hose is a problem.

You should be able to hold the laser module up and turn on the machine to reset it, but on that same page, scroll down and there is a link to the older "Software for removing the laser module.exe" - that should work until they fix the page.
Hi, great video thank you. My head didn't drop, but I did a clean as shown in your video, the red light on the front of the machine is on and the error code 14 3 is still showing the software. Any ideas of what I can try next? Thanks.
Yes, there is one for the X-axis (left to right), the Y-axis (front to back), and the Z-axis (laser focusing/up-down). The Y-axis sensor is in the back right corner of the machine.
Any thoughts why the laser will not go back into the laser module? I got the code Qx14 3. I did everything possible and downloaded the software and it won’t work. 😭
I would remove the cover on the bottom of the laser module (two screws) and place a mirror under it. Run the software and see if the gear turns on the motor. If that doesn't turn there's a hardware problem.
@@lakeshore3d I sort of done that and it might have worked. I am going to put the air assist on and then try it out again and see if the first problem is fixed! Thank you.

I get Qx14 2 I’ve took off the cap and cleaned the sensor for it and error still pops up could it be I didn’t flip the cap on correctly?

i tried the link that you said to reset the laser and it isnt letting me reset it at all am i downloading the correct one?

My M1 was working fine and now powers on then starts making a bumping or thumping sound. Have cleaned sensors, no change.
Have you fixed it? I'm encountering similar issues right now

and it is making a knocking sound. which stops then the red light comes on.
@@fionafaulkner-cox7728 They say it may be one of the photoelectric sensor which is displaced or not working.
Xtool M1 worked fine for me, and now when it goes to the place of work and when it returns, it draws a strip along the way. help me please
You'll need to contact xTool support on that one, it's probably an electronics issue.
I just opened mine and plugged it and downloaded the software it’s saying homing error and shaking and making loud bandaging noises
