According to the install video from XTool's channel, the extra tube channels are used for keeping the tube in place if you want to use the laser without the Air Assist. It runs to the left, opposite of the exit hole in the riser. There's even a nifty little mount for the lens cover.
Ok- so you show your mount being still wiggly when you put the air assist on. Is that ok? The other videos I watched said it isn't, but for the life of me I cannot get that thing to go on in the direction it's supposed to if I tighten it down.
I know I am late to this, but if you haven't already worked it out, the kit has 2 black rubber gasket rings. These are for adding to the lens cover to ensure it is tightly installed, with no wiggling around. xTool has forgotten to include this step in the instructions. x

I wish they'd address that somewhere because I don't know how people are supposed to know when it isn't mentioned anywhere.😅 Even with the gaskets my air assist refuses to sit properly or stay attached. I gave up. Money wasted. I should have gotten the riser base instead. Oh well.

We haven’t had any issues using it since installing the air assist.
