And Bombers are increadibly hard to take out in Sim. Usaly requires you to be well above the bomber and have good armament and be somewhat good at Vertical turns.
Anyone who has been using this since update 1.99, you get twice as much xp if you return to the airfield, because gaijin noticed people were abusing this. So don't J out after bombing airfields and you will get around 80k rp in simulator battles
The airfield will only repair itself if the tents are still in operation, if they are destroyed the airfeild can't repair itself, also if the fuel storage is destroyed then airplanes can't refuel at that airfield, if the hangers are destroyed then planes can't repair at that air field, if the runway is destroyed then no one can spawn at that airfield

Since it’s 1.5 tons for a base in RB, 3 times that for an airfield. I assume it’s the same in Simulator. Look at the “TNT equivalent” in the bombs description page. You need 3,300lbs to equal 1.5 tons so 10,000 or more pounds for an airfield. 1,500kg for a base and 5,000 or more for an airfield. Not sure how accurate it is because I’ve destroyed strategic bases in Simulator with a few 100lb and a couple 250lb nowhere near 3,000 pounds or 1,500kg. So maybe it’s less in Sim

I am currently grinding for the HO 229 v3 in rank 5, I am at the end of rank 3. I use the he 111 h-6 as my main bomber due to the 2250kg payload. If i am correct, the HE 111 should be the highest BR plane in my lineup, correct?

@@BlazingTonk I start off the round with the B-25j and bomb a few bases and/or get some easy air kills. Its a bit tough so I fly low and set fuses to 4 secs so I don'y blow myself up.
I recommend B25 until you get all three B17 then use the middle one, the model escapes me but it’s the second B17 you get but you have to also put the G model in you lineup just the the B17E does not have SP req...
A method that i havent tested that MIGHT work 1. Find 3 friends 2. Create a room for Sim EC. Preferabbly in Ruhr or Sicily 3a. Activate boosters and prem time 3b. Choose some of the following bombers; USAF: B-17s and B-29A Luftwaffe: Me 264 (Do-217 works too, but has higher BR = more SP cost) and He-177 ВВС России: Pe-8 and Tu-4 (Tu-4 is also available to the PLAAF) RAF: Halifax, Stirling, Lancaster, Lincoln USAF and Tu-4 bombers combine insane payload and Def AA. But have high repair costs Luftwaffe focus more on Def AA and Max. Speed RAF focus more on Payload, but have crappy engines imo Dont go for IJAF or Swedish bombers and anything that uses jet. (Unless Gaijin adds B-52H, B-1B, Tu-22M3, and Tu-160 XD) 3c. Spawn in a bomber (all of you should be in one) 4. Spawn and climb as high as you can. Try to be above 8-10k ft when crossing the border to avoid AAA or Fighters. This does NOT apply to RAF bombers. They are made for low level dambusters style bombing at night, hence the shitty Def AA. Stay below 5000ft AGL. 5a. Bomb the airfield modules in this order: Tents >>> Hangars >>> Fuel Depot >>> Runway (Option #1) 5b. Bomb whatever you want so that the airfield remains alive and you can just farm the damage from that airfield for the next 3 hours (Option #2) 6. Watch out if new players are entering the room. If there are, spam 'Bomber only' or 'No Bomber Hunting' 7. Dont climb above 15-17k ft. Because A. Unless you are a 264, it will take forever to descend. And B. The clouds might interfere with your bomb sight. In this case, fly right under the cloud base. 8. Make sure to SURVIVE and LAND safely to an airfield. You will ONLY receive 50% RP and SL for bombing. The rest are given after you landed. 9. Take turns in winning and losing Note: If you dont have boosters and prem go play RB instead. It will give you more RP and SL for the same amount of time. Go space climb to the edge of the map. Surviving longer gives you more SL and eliminates the repair cost if you dont die. Edit: Me 264 is also good in RB, in fact i earn atl 15k SL per game (which lasts no longer than 15-20 mins, no prem/boost). Sim gives me about 80k for playing 2h (w 300% boost). Becareful tho, if you get winter maps you might have trouble seeing your tracers. But you will remain mostly safe above 20kft. Met a fighter about 1/25 games, which ended up on my tail. Also, Pe-8 is not reccomended for RB. The FAB-5000 only does its maximum damage when you drop it on an airfield, not a base. And if you are the only bomber, then you're screwed. Idk how they perform in SB tho, but hitting runways are the way to go.
All my aircraft need spawn points including my bomber which has the least amount of spawn points. Sometimes its kicks me out of the game and sometimes it gives me a plane I dont have HELP

Kenji Del Rosario, yes it should work, I’ve been grinding German ground for the last month but I think it should still work. Bombing bases gives way more RP because if your doing it right and using a bomber that’s tier below ur top tier plane than u will probably be able to completely destroy base with some left over plus I believe there is a small multiplier due to the heavy flak defense. And IDK what’s up with German planes I do very poorly RP wise with ME264 where as with b25 I got about 100k RP so I think it’s just the Tier/Br weirdness of German planes why it’s messed up...try US you’ll do way better
If you lose the game you lose a massive chunk of rp! So always go for the win. The most I have gotten so far without premium is 52,683 sl and 36,237rp with 15xsl and 300%x rp. Plus the win I always make sure to do air assault arcade and ground for the extra boosters. I have gotten so far with 15% sl boost is 60,890 and 12,025rp(win) Another game was with a 20%sl boost 44,362sl and 26,435rp( win) But a loss 5,769sl, 7500rp another loss 7,217sl and 14,521rp. Using the b-25j-1. I just race along the deck and destroy the bases I can. If there is a capture point on the way back I'll try capture it.
benny ben I believe with update 1.97 they nerfed the RP game because the last time I played Air SB (Like a month ago) I only got 40k Rp with prem account no booster, I dropped 10 tons of bombs...Back in 1.8- I would have made 80k...but it’s still okay I will make another video updating it and also a new tactic for ground RP

I play on console and I just want to unlock the pe-8 for tanks because console is garbage for fighters and all that, so i can only do cas and bombers, ive been playing a while and have 2 bombers before I get it, how hard is it to drive? like i can manage not using mouse aim and my bomber controls are really complex, like i think i have as many inputs as keyboard by combining different buttons, but is there anything really big?
I have a problem. It won't let me spawn in a bomber and instead gives me a attck plane automatically. Even though I only have one bomber with me. Is this a common problem?
This is because your joined a SB match that was to high, so your bomber had an automatic SP req and you don’t have any other aircraft in your lineup that doesn’t have an SP req so you are provided with a free aircraft to go get the SP required to spawn in your bomber

Aussie001 It’s all about preference and how you play, personally I like the BF series more G-6 is very good, so is the G-10 and K-4 but so are the Fw’s the Fw 190 D-12 is very good, but just depends on how you like to fly

Honestly I don’t know, but for the last year Gajing has been constantly nerfing sim rewards...it may also be that your researching a vehicle out of the vehicle that your using research efficiency
If there is only a little bit of the game left I will, but if there is still half the game or something it’s not worth it...For realistic, for SB, yes you should play to the very end of the game and do your best to win...
You should watch my new vid 😂, The JU 288C is one of the most effective vehicles in the game...Amazing for RP and SL great aircraft in general, super fun! It’s the best bomber I’ve used, still use it for SL grinding
AF is best but takes a long time. If you are very good at CAS with heavy fighters and attackers you can make just as much ground pounding, but it takes more skill
I believe you are talking about controls and if that is the case it is because Sim requires you to play with the Sim control setup so you must play with those controls and can only change bindings

The airfield AA literally shreds me before I can turn around. Seems like it takes a lot to kill them. 6k lbs on fuel depot and nothing.

I have a question, have the simulator rewards been nerfed? I get 8k to 15k xp per game and can only manage 10-20k rp per match (no boosters)
Honestly I don’t know, but for the last year Gajing has been constantly nerfing sim rewards...it may also be that your researching a vehicle out of the vehicle that your using research efficiency

You should watch my new vid 😂, The JU 288C is one of the most effective vehicles in the game...Amazing for RP and SL great aircraft in general, super fun! It’s the best bomber I’ve used, still use it for SL grinding

F.B.I unfortunately it is not, usually you’ll make a small profit of 150K SL for a 2hr game but this depends on if u J out.

AF is best but takes a long time. If you are very good at CAS with heavy fighters and attackers you can make just as much ground pounding, but it takes more skill

The reaper meteor (the red one) is much better and you can easily make over 200k per SB match
So if you want to bomb a base with the me 264 in 1 go you need 1800 kg x2 and 250kg x3 right ?
Go with 4x 1000kg
It has 25kg more explosive mass than the 2x 1800kg + 3x 250kg and weighs less as well.
When I go into simulator my settings get messed up, do you have any idea why this is?
Are you on controller?
I believe you are talking about controls and if that is the case it is because Sim requires you to play with the Sim control setup so you must play with those controls and can only change bindings
