I have 4 beautiful babies that are mixed. They all have a similar hair texture to you ladies. We have been obsessed with the Shea Moisture Jamaican black castor oil leave in conditioner! This with a curl jelly over it, and the black vanilla spray to refresh curls...had been our secret to beautiful shiny coils! love your videos!

I'm having the best natural hair day of my life right now because of you ladies. I tried layering my leave ins with a spray and cream (Mielle Organics & Miss Jessie's), to see if I could use less styler. My day one wash n go is absolutely amazing. The Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Leave In is AMAZINGGGGGGGGG. I use it to cowash, as a leave in and a deep conditioner. It leaves your hair super soft no matter how long you keep it in your hair. As mentioned in the video it also is a great detangler. LOVE IT. Deff one of my holy grail.

+raven richardson I couldn't imagine it leaving your hair feeling clean as the product has no cleansing properties. The JBCO leave-in isn't greasy but it sure as hell ain't light either.
My fav leave ins are blueberry bliss and as I am....I really want to try the condish, mielle organics and the knot sauce. Also I love the double butter cream too. I did a 3 strand twist with it last night and my hair is sooo soft and moisturized.
I am obsessed with the Kinky Curly Knot Today!!! It's my current go to leave-in/detangler. It definitely helps when finger detangling and makes my curls look great. I also have tried the curl enhancing smoothie and I love that too. I've only used it a few times but I do love it. And the As I Am double butter is amazing! I haven't tried any of the other products. I want to try the Miss Jessie's line next but I need to get through some of my other products first because it's not cheap.
Kendra, I am so glad you also use the Shea Moisture JBCO Strengthen, Grow, and Restore Leave-In Conditioner!! The video was your staple curly hair leave-in's but I wanted to mention that my hair is kinkier than yours and Kelsey's and I do use it to blow dry my hair in sections. My hair is high porosity, so it loses moisture relatively quickly. This product is fantastic for moisturizing and elongating my blow dried hair especially in the winter (drier) months. You don't even have to flat iron after blowdrying if tou don't want to, and I typically do not. It is a little on the heavy side if you just plan to wear your hair down, but i like to throw mine in a high bun or top-knot and put a scarf over it for 10 minutes. The finished result is a really sleek looking.

This video was a life changer because when you guys stated of using little to no styler after a leave in/moisturizer, I had to try it. So last night I revisit Curl Enhancing Smoothie and not add gel like I normally do.....A-mazing! I'm excited to use other products the same way and see what happens. Thanks ladies!

I have been using the curl enhancing soothie for the last 4-5 years. I started using it on my son's hair when he was a baby and on mine last year after the big chop. That stuff is everything.

I've tried all of those except the Earth's Nectar and S.M. Jamaican Black Castor Leave-in. I'll have to try those two out. The others are definitely Holy Grail leave-ins!

+LatinEarthAngel when you have your leave in conditioner and styling product put a little of both on the palm of your hand and then rub your hands together and if it speaks evenly they are a pair and if it turns white and balls up then the aren't a pair! thought I'd share that tip 😊

I always use an oil first then the As I Am leave in conditioner all over and then I put the double butter on top of the drier parts of my hair like my ends, the crown of my head, and my edges. It leaves my hair so moisturized and defined.

Y'all HAVE to try the Shea Moisture Low Porosity leave-in detangler but it's comb friendly! Love the Double Butter Cream too! I tried the Miss Jessie's leave in because of y'all and I love it! My Target had it on clearance this past week

+B.WildBeauty Low porosity means that it's hard for your hair to absorb moisture and high porosity means that your hair absorbs moisture very quickly that it leaves and get dry. Search on RUclips there are many naturals on here that have done vids on it
B.WildBeauty I have a video on it! :3 But Girl 101 is right. Low and High porosity soaks in moisture differently, low porosity tends to be very protein sensitive.

I just did my wash day routine with the Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil line and I have to say I didn't like the leave in alone so much. When I put the hair lotion over top of it I loved the results. I'm hearing so many great reviews on it so I'm going to try the leave in again. I'm not wasting my money! Lol

***** I read the same thing, which is why i do it once a month as well, i also use a cleansing shampoo when im ready to straighten my hair. The only thing noticeable about the silicone is if you don't cleanse before straightening is, it will be flat and body-less. But i discovered that after not cleansing it out .
Mine needs it regardless lol but you should try the silicone mix before you straighten, I get my smoothest results from it. It also coats your hair so it is a long lasting heat protectant

A Leave-in Conditioner: conditions and pretty much takes care of your hair (instead of rinsing out the conditioner , its a conditioner that you leave in your hair)
And moisturizers , are meant to keep your hair moisturized (to prevent your hair from being dry)
