PERFECT! I haven't seen such a variety of tail codes in a long time. The "LV" I think was used by that A-7D "cover unit" in the early F-117A days? What happened to the 64th AS? The "FM" was a Florida "Mako Sharks" bird. And a few ex-Texas AFRC F-16Cs? I have a question that I am having difficulty finding an answer for. How do conventional fighter a/c, like the 414th F-16Cs here, radar acquire a full up stealth platform such as the F-22 or F-35? I remember that the F-117A had an external transponder attached to allow ATC the ability to control it when the Black Jets were just flying 'regular' sorties. Once again, many thanks for the super clear & up close look at these Vipers! Cheers!🇨🇦🍺
Hey! The 64th is still alive and well, flying the F-16C/D, The 65th is also there flying F-35As, and the LV jets as well as the TX and possibly some of the Mako ones belong to the newly (as of last year) designated 706th Aggressor Squadron which belongs to AFRC I believe.
@@boisecityplanes Thank you very much for taking the time to reply! I have fallen way behind the times. 706th AS hey? And the 65th AS flying F-35As? This still brings me back to my question. Let's take the F-35A for example. How does an F-35 either pursue or defend an attack from other full aspect stealth a/c? Is there some F-5E/F era GCI coming into play? Cheers!🍺
