They aren't professional singers.Yet they are singing so well. Important thing is that they have selected a very old and highly philosophical classic ghazal.
Urdu is such a strong language that within 300 years it got over entire subcontinent as a language of civilization decency and aesthetics along with the ability of superlative expressions and vocabulary!
One of my favourite ghazals ---Has been sung by many singers in their own style and perfection and each one has paid tribute to the poet of past Siraj Aurangabadi---
خبرِ تحیرِ عشق سن، نہ جنوں رہا، نہ پری رہی نہ تو تُو رہا، نہ تو میں رہا، جو رہی سو بے خبری رہی یے بیخبری وہ نہیں جو کسی بات کو ناجاننے کا نتیجہ ہوتی ہے یے بےخبری ہے عشق کی انتہا جہاں سب کچھھ ختم ہو جاتا ہے۔ کچھ بھی باقی نہیں رہتا۔ نہ جنوں رہا، نہ پری رہی! یعنی نھ عاشق رہا نھ معشوق رہا اور نھ عشق! بس رھ جاتا ہے اک ایسا عالم جسے شاعر بے خبری کہتا ہے۔ شعر - سراج اورنگ آبادی
All others (even the world famous Sufi/Gha•zal singers) sang this poem with lot of mistakes. But Sanjeev and Karuna sang it without any mistakes... Hats off.....

There are quite a few version of this ghazal which is by Siraj Dakkani (also mentioned in another video as Siraj Aurangabadi). He was a contemporary of the early forefather of Urdu poetry, Wali Dakkani ! There has been some discussion about this ghazal on that channel and I took the opportunity to add my comments with some backgroud that I had heard. Cont.
Part II One couplet seems to be missing in this, as well as in the other video I have mentioned : SH'HAY BAY KHOODI NAY, ATAA KIYA, MUJHAY, AB, LIBAS E BRAHN'AGI NA JANOON KI JAMAH D'RI RAHI, NA KHIRAD KI, BAKHIA GARI, RAHI (Actually, instead of "Jama D'ri" the word could be "Pardah D'ri"). This is one of the greatest ghazals in Urdu poetry, on stand alone basis. In my view, it has the same status as Momin Khan Momin's "Tumhein Yad Ho keh Na Yad Ho". Karuna is great. Thank you.

Evergreen Ghazal. It's great, with great music, but there are some mistakes in speaking old urdu. for example, in actual ghazal the verse is, chali samt e ghaib say kia hawa keh chaman suroor ka jal gia. but singer is saying that "keh chaman zahoor ka jal gia"
its "zahoor", the world of "Zahir" i.e apparently visible things ... Typical reference to the world as we see it and is actually only an image (عکس) of the real world as per Urdu poetry
However both soroor and zahoor are correct but zhoor has an overwhelming and beyond meaning compare to soroor which has a limited scope in explaination!

I think this is the version that has worked the best for me !

Just to correct. Ghazal did not originste in persia. But this couple shoukd perform alot more since there are notvenough couples singing
