I could never tire of watching JB’s pranks. I have massively fond memories of watching GFAL back in the early 80’s. When coming home on a late flight from Greece in 2000, bizarrely they had Beadle’s About on the tv. My girlfriend of that time and I had the ear plugs in crying with laughter whilst almost everyone else was giving it the big Z’s.
Just found out that Tip Tipping, the stunt driver sadly passed away back in 1993 aged 34 doing a stunt for the BBC, in a parachuting accident. I used to know Chris from school days, and now the garage is still a car sales forecourt. Great stunt work. Fun still to watch.

I was the same age and I used to empty cinemas with stink and smoke bombs and was universally despised by parents for getting their kids in shit... got lonely towards the end of primary though. I can still empty a dance floor in 2 seconds but it involves getting arrested so I don't do it often! So you was a bully victim! Only a bullied 80s kid would say the 80s was shit!

Tip Tipping famously played Private Crowe in Aliens (1987) and sadly passed away parachuting for a BBC programme in 1993. RIP

At the time, our petrol station was a 'Mobil' station. That was a Mobil manager's jacket. I really liked it too!
