  • From original broadcast (TVS 1991). Here is the full hidden camera prank on Jon Davy, a guy who was supposedly asked by his best mate to do some building work on a house... unbeknownst to him however, he was assisting a plumber, throw in some Beadle magic and things dont quite go to plan!
A show I used to love as a kid. They should bring them back, with another host sadly and obviously.

Here I am playing a very snooty homeowner, whose not impressed by the poor plumber's skills. His hilarious reaction was such I had to hide behind the door laughing. He was a lovely chap and really didn't know how to deal with the crisis. Behind the house was large water tank flooding the house with water.

How many times can a plumber run to the kitchen and "turn off" a stopcock, the answer is about 20, hilarious. Jeremy was a No.1 prankster, RIP.

I feel great empathy for this lad, but I laughed so hard, when he ran outside, and hid behind the bushes. It was truly hilarious and pathetic. This piece is the funniest I have ever seen. Jolly well! 🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂Cheers and 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺beers mates!

In reality the plumber would have been trying on the home owners knickers the minute he was left to it

Beadle only got paid £400 an episode at one point, most of the shows budget went on the production costs and the sometimes very elaborate pranks ruining houses and cars etc

This is the first time I`ve watched this since it was first aired on TV, back in 1991, and I still found this hilarious. This episode of Beadle is a classic, one of the best ones I think as the situation for the guy goes from bad to worse.

I remember watching this with my parents and younger brother back in then day for the hiding behind the bush. Saturday evening TV was brilliant back then.

Unkind, but what a lovely fellow. His efforts to control the outbursts of water (and his language!) were grand

As an old plumber, I saw plumber in the heading and had to click on it. OMG I was not prepared for this level of hilarity, who are these guys?😂🤣👍

It's all plumbing related and then suddenly a random 'lets blow up the TV' gets me every time.
