- Practicing my offhand, slowfire at Wyoming Antelope Club in Clearwater, Fl. Shooting at 100 yards distance on a reduced 200 yard target, the smaller target simulates engaging at 200 yards.
Thanks. Some days are better than others and offhand is the most challenging position to shoot from.
appears you have a really steady shot!
Why are you dont using shooting pants?
I honestly do not find shooting pants to be a necessary expense. Blue jeans and my old camouflage utility pants work just fine, but the upper body is what truly needs the stabilization as well as reduction of pulse that gets transferred through the sling, so your money is better spent on the best shooting jacket you can afford instead of pants.
thats true, but you will feel the difrents if you try pants. but nice shooting :)
Slow and methodical. I am just now trying to learn Service Rifle. This is a good example.
Thanks
No really I was, but all kidding aside if were going to critique him on is off hand shooting, I do not see one thing for him to change. His whole set-up looks perfect. Every single shot looked the same. He has a routine that he sticks to, like you're suppose to. Should be a lot of X's down range! Semper Fi !!!
I honestly don't shoot many X's from off-hand, typically I'm happy to get a few tens in there Mike! I've always struggled with "awful-hand" and a lot of practice is the only way to, at least be consistent.
Man I was 5th grade with that dude!
You were a better shot than me when we were kids, plus you shot expert on the Island, hell I'll never live down that pizza box I received for boot qualification at P.I. I will continue to blame that pos A1 I was issued! Lol
