Thank You. I see your user name is M14 Armorer, do you work on M14s? As far as I am concerned, the M14 is far from obsolete and my mission is to demonstrate that as a fact, not as a hope. Not long after this video I had to move and was busy for several months. But I did do a mud test and the rifle ran 100% successfully. It and many others are up on Rumble, Useless tube is so unpredictable as to what they will ban so screw them. Here is a link to that video. I hope you will come over and sub there. rumble.com/v26yjoo-fulton-armory-m14-vs-mud-and-crud.html
Awesome video ! Thank you ! Just bought an SA M1A Standard, thanks to your videos as well as a couple others here on YT. I'm gonna let SA know maybe they'll forward you some ammo or endorse, etc. You and Paul Harrell are my two Go To gun RUclipsrs.
Thank you. Plenty more videos on the M14 over on my Rumble Channel. rumble.com/v1iwbsr-m14-magazines-mil-spec-vs-promag.html . More to come as I upgrade and use the rifle.
By the way I love your avatar. The Vietnam Era " Studies and Observation Group patch. Aka snake eaters, The Green Berets. Read a lot about those guys when I was younger.
Hello sir, this is very off topic for this video, but I found you made a video on spring breaks 6 years ago. My grandpa was the inventor of the spring break (Don Rumsey), and I have been looking for something on his invention. So I thank you.
Regarding the Receiver Bridge and out of battery prevention. At 1/2 Battery there is a Factory Test with a Dial Test Indicator on a Rod. The Probe is run down the Bore and a special Fixture Locks the Bolt at 1/2 Battery to check Firing Pin Retraction. Should be about .030 and that measures Receiver Service Life/Firing Pin Retraction at 1/2 Battery position. A standard Factory Armorers Inspection. 🎯

It is a Smith Enterprises Extended Bolt release. Fulton Armory has them. In the M14 menu click on parts and scroll down. You will find them. Brownell's and Midway USA also.
Really good video for new 14 owners & shooters. I do appreciate all the hard work it took to make this video!
