Just a note for those who haven't played the game at all before - I forgot to mention that Doctor Virgil is a Super Mutant by choice. He was part of a team in the Institute that were conducting experiments and essentially turning humans into Super Mutants. Through guilt, he destroyed the experiment and left the Institute, but first made himself a Super Mutant so he could survive the Radiation of the Glowing Sea. A side mission allows you to retrieve a test serum for him from inside the Institute, that cures the effects. Meaning by the end of the game he can be human again.
Dude. So. I never needed to help him. Hahah I’m so dumb I was sure he would lead me to some of the main quest. Bleh. I’ve got so many settlements!!! It’s such busy work!!! So. Finally to Diamond City I guess. Hahaha. I refused to google which way to go but my vibes led me wrong.
@@threeofeight197: I mean, not really. 🤭 It’s totally subjective but I have always felt like the Minutemen are the best group to join in the game ethics-wise. So, I didn’t mind helping him but I think you’re right - it’s busy work for sure.
Dude, your quips added here & there are absolutely hilarious, my favorite would have to be when you said he takes the wedding ring to sell on FB marketplace🤣🤣
Nah, this was shit. No production value whatsoever and a waste of time trying to be funny when dude is supposed to be telling a story. Arguably, he has far more views than he deserves.
Imagine this, you come out of cryo your wife/husband froze back in cryo in critical condition after kellogs little incident then the main quest is to actually find a way to save your wife/husband and find your son ultimately to use institute tech to bring them back with medical care to have as a companion.... this can go many ways in a sense of fail to save her but use synthetic tech to recreate her/him to also be companion. This can be backed up by the fact that on the terminal in vault 111 it does not actually state that that cryo pod is deceased, I just think the story is so unbelievably half arsed and falls so flat. I can think of so many ways that story wise this could of been so much better and I'm just an average guy not someone that for years of development, title, and gets paid to do this clearly just didn't really give a shit. This could of lead to your son leaving the institute to join the railroad to help fight the very institute that tried to kill his mom/dad and that he'd of been lied to his entire life somewhat indoctrinated. Nice plot twist nice variety and utilises the factions in a better way pending on wether the player sympathises with the railroad or institute. But by brotherhood would ultimately kill both wife and son highlighting their flawed logic but setting in stone how adamant their views are on hoarding tech and the abominations of synths so if your brotherhood through and through you need to make that ultimate sacrifice and put your money where your mouth is and bite the bullet on that one.
what the hell. why do you have so little subs and views? when i finished watching the vid i thought you had about 500k subs but god damn you deserve a LOT more subs and views
I love fallout 4 but the ending was kind of like a Dexter ending to me. Your wife gets shot and your son is kidnapped in front of you and you spend the entire story trying to find him only to find out he's the leader of the people responsible. Then you either carry out tasks for that morally inferior faction, or basically kill him as he's already dying and get rid of centuries of technological advances. I understand Fallout isn't really a happily ever after type of game but in my personal opinion it was pretty lame to build emotion for your character's family and to have a story like that. What closure would Nora have, and what life does the sole survivor have to take on after. I honestly feel like finding out Shaun was murdered and blowing up the institute afterward would be much better but maybe I'm just too critical. I'm usually not a happily ever after type of person either but I wanted something different from fallout's story so I pretty much tell myself that the Father isn't Shaun and Shaun was actually killed so I can somewhat stomach the story. It's my favorite Fallout but the ending is a mid 6/10 with 10/10 potential.
Thank you for the video. I discovered the Fall Out series way late and never found the time to tackle them :/ I understand most/all fault tec vaults were secretly experiments (since they didn't know how to preserve the inhabitants best). Is there more plot to this?
oh yea there is so much more pretty much a iceberg worth of story. Most people will tell you new vegas is the best one but (it is i cany deny it even though I don't enjoy it as much it has much superior game mechanics and a very complex dialog options) but me not being a super serious RPG who isn't really in it for the long grind i enjoy fallout 4 for its more quicker pace and simpler story. And also building a settlement while listening to music is nice. and fallout 3 is really good but I've never been able to beat it.
To completely finish FO4, it would take a long time, there’s a lot of side quests and collectable stuff, but the main story isn’t too long. I’d suggest it’s one to have downloaded onto your PC/console and keep playing sporadically across the year- That’s kind of what I do with games like Red Dead Redemption 2 etc
I want to play this so bad but I can’t even understand the gameplay to even understand the story I’m so frustrated this is my 4th time resetting i don’t even know the show is better to get the story
I waited 8 years thinking I'd play this but eventually decided not to bother. Thank you for making this video so I can finally know the story/ending (since I somehow avoided spoilers). Must admit it was a little underwhelming...
No if you have a read this but don’t give up I love you channels I love your videos smile on my face every single day and I wake up I look forward to a few creators when you can it’s videos creators are you MrBeast JMWN mini minute man what’s the weather look forward to
I actually didnt like fallout4 as much as the others, it didnt really feel moraly right. Either ending was shite. Kill your family/kill innocent railroad/kill the brotherhood which i sided with in fallout3. :/

Something about European guys with accents doing video game lore really does it for me. Like I know it's going to be decent
Legend has it, Preston was behind us the whole time, receiving word from a settlement asking for help.
Was I wrong for helping the settlement right away?
