Enjoyed it very much,as I always do.I'm happy one of your videos popped up on my feed, out of nowhere. Now I am enjoying your content(looove rocks abd minerals)and your positivity as well.Rock on!
I really wish people wouldn’t dye the inside of these geodes that need no dressing up unless you’re ten years old maybe. Thank you Taylor for sawing these in half!! When I see them smashed with something to break them really look weird.
If you don't already, you should take a uv light and shine it on all your rocks. I bought one because I bought aome hyalite opal, but now I use it on all my rocks and so many of them have details that have fluorescence that I didn't expect. You do the best cutting videos by the way
That last one is GORGEOUS! I love it when you zoom in with the camera so we can see the details. It really helps with us older people with bad eyes. So thank you! 😊
I agree, stop the geode dying. So many people I've encountered think the dye job is real stone, it gets tiring explaining the dying is for the vanity aspect of the stone and not the admiration of its unenhanced beauty.
I happen to live near quaint Cedarburg, Wis. (about a half hour north of Milwaukee) where the Gem Shop is located on the main street. If you enjoy a treasure hunt, there is a whole basement and back yard full of rough rock and beautiful polished specimens inside. I am no longer actively collecting, but I love to see what's being worked on. The business is well known for its variety and quality.
I've been rockhounding for most of my life and have just started cutting and working with some of my stones. I get a great kick out of your video. I know I have some top quality stones and can't wait til I have the technique and tools to process them. Any ideas on ways or sources for figuring out what any given stone could be worth?
The last one was the best, it was beautiful, I love geodes and the others you have on your site to sell, but I will never be able to own one, they are just too much out of my price range, I live on disability so my income is limited, but I love seeing your videos and how beautiful they are inside. I have a couple of geodes and polished ones a friend gave me and one beautiful crystal too. I will be watching more, thanks for putting this here to enjoy, wonderful pieces!!
I like the formations in the first one but the last one yes was the mega! I like seeing different rocks that they don't all have to be winners to be cool!
I ordered one of these from the Gem Shop last week. The one I got was a huge double geode with both geodes already open and showing on the outside. I am tempted to cut them apart to see if there is any more inside, but I don't want to ruin it. Have you hit yours with a UV light yet? I used my Yooper light flashlight and the botryoidal formation glows bright neon green.
i wanted to buy some geodes when i was in KY, the break yourself ones. i didnt want to smash them or buy a cutter. i got 1 geode many year ago. they are so cool.
With the first two, I really liked the veins of quartz (quartz, right?). There were a couple of areas that looked like the cut was either across a spot that might have been a forming cavity, or the very tip of a hidden cavity. But, I’m not even close to a rock expert. I agree about the third one. Didn’t find it pretty, personally. The last one was amazing!
Do you happen to know what the host rock material is? I always wondered if you could dissolve that type of geode in acid to get all the host off and see the crystal shell and how it formed in the host rock. I doubt you could but I can imagine it would look awesome! Anyways, another sweet video man! Keep em coming! 😁
I hope you enjoyed this video! Like and share if you did!
Just watched you cut the first one and wow, not only is there a pocket of lovely geode, but that dark "stick man" running hit my eyes.
Didn't see the stick man at first, so I went back...how cool!!!😅

I agree. The natural beauty is enough.
Agree completely. Dying them makes them look cheap, even fake.Nature provides the beauty, doesn't need any help from us.
They just evolve that way! No one paints them 😆

„Cup running over kinda guy“ yesss, love to hear that! Great video 🍀✨
That last one is GORGEOUS! I love it when you zoom in with the camera so we can see the details. It really helps with us older people with bad eyes. So thank you! 😊
So much fun to watch! I love that you shouted out the USPS at the end. They really do be working hard for us!
My USPS is working overtime, lol.

I'm just glad we got one great one!
The first comes last and the last came first. Beautiful geode!!❤😊
Do you ever look at what you cut under uv light, both long and shortwave? Thunder eggs can have some really interesting glow lines.
I was so glad that the last one made you so happy. Good for you, so fun watching.
Agates and geodes are so fascinating and always wanted one but haven't found or purchased one.. maybe some day 👍
Mornin everyone gotta love waking up to see a agate dad vid

That last one! Those beautiful bots! Thanks for the video, Taylor!
I'd suggest slabbing the 3rd rock. May be something of interest to one of the sides.

These are big and beautiful.
Love your reality of your videos as well as the reveal. Fantastic cuts ❤
I wish I could do that. I have a nice tumbled rock and crystal collection. Sadly, I have MS so I can see me cutting a hand off! Good job, Dad.
Love it. I still think the finger was the best geode I have seen. Blessings 👏👏👏👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👍❤️
I like the formations in the first one but the last one yes was the mega! I like seeing different rocks that they don't all have to be winners to be cool!

I loved them all. Lovely to see.
Always lovely visiting this channel thank you...☺️👍
I’m glad!
Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful!!! I so enjoy your videos.
Wouldn't it be fun to do 2 more cuts on the first 3? So you have 4 flatter ones that show more?
So after your get these polished up, what do you do with them? Just display them or do you have a project you use them in?
Typically for display, for me at least
The last one is the best one. All are pretty even the one you didn’t like.
So gorgeous!
That last one was mint! 😎
The last one save the day 😂😂😂 great video Taylor ❤
Glad you got a great one.
All of them were very nice, but that last one was amazing
Is a tile saw safe to use for small geodes? We have plenty of orange size shakers to Break.
# 4 is so beautiful
That last one looks like an ice cave. ❤
I would love to see a wall covered with all the stone of cuts shiny and glinting!!
Lovely giant one!

Cant wait, my Hi-Tech Diamond Saw is coming tomorrow!
Nice!!!
On your third cut. Have you thought of cutting up in different place.
I didn’t as it was very full
Why do some people saw geodes and some crack them? Is this preference or is there a methodology behind this?
Those are beautiful❤
The third one you didn't like kinda looks like the USA to me haha
THE best was definately last! 😮❤
Your right ,some of the cuts was plain. But the !ast one was the best.
Still enjoy u your videos.
Very pretty
