Excellent looking setup. Hopefully the shipping company takes care of the inverter. The pups are cute. I finally started looking for another border collie.👍👍👍👍
A 9 year study by Bell Labs in 1948 to 1957 of installed military equipment found that electrical induction of the human body is increased by multipliers of 1.087 per 1/5th volt over 40 volts. The result was making all Korean military battery and DC generators 36 volt. They recorded 1604 injuries in troupes when voltage was over 40v even though only 35% of DC equipment was 40v+ and only 18 injuries when voltage was below 40v. Study concluded that the saline and mineral content of the human body is able to pass voltage easier once the voltage was high enough to excite the conductivity of the person in contact. * (Conclusion - 18 to 36 volts can kill you under rare circumstances, but your risk is over 95% lower than with 48.)
I think I may have damaged some internals to my 48v120v SWIPower 3000w inverter. But, since all I use it for is large inductive loads, I can't say I'm surprised. It did well when it was working. It's still a high frequency inverter and not designed for such use.
High Frequency is bashed by the dealers of high dollar products, but the reality is High Frequency is just phase positive on both sides of the wave and nothing is harmed by it since its actually a more stable output with much less idle power losses. It should be used in dedicated isolated lines and never earth grounded.
@JOHNDANIEL1 I recently watched a video on why inductive loads killed high frequency inverters that showed the oscilloscope results of inrush on the mosfets, which made a lot of sense. As soon as ECPC gets their 6000w split phase inverter back in stock, I plan to order one. It's the same inverter as the Sigineer unit, and looks exactly like the Sungoldpower and the AIMS inverters. LED locations and all the switch and post locations. What I do know is that now, even my hand drills smoke when running off of the SWIPower. Much like I have seen using too long of an extension cord. High frequency inverters are supposed to be good for 2x rating for inrush surge. Low frequency is supposed to be good for 3x rating. The actual inrush can be 4x the run amperage. There is another video where a 750w load inrush, overloaded a 5kw inverter.
I ordered the 6kw split phase 240/120 inverter from ECPC/Energetech, what was delivered was the Sigineer APC6048D. At a much lower price. Just got it hooked up today, but it had no problem starting the larger air compressor that had bogged the SWIPower 3kw inverter down. I'll probably rewire that compressor to 240vac, now that I have it available, because it was drawing almost 22 amps @120vac under load. Running from (2) EG4 rack mount LiFePO4 100ah batteries.
P.S. forgot to ask in the last post, Time USB has a 140 Ah bat. in a standard 100Ah size case advertised on their site now. That's a big output up-tick for that size of bat. Do you know/have you heard any scuttlebutt on that one? Thanks, and be well.
I have one, the cells are very high quality and mine pulled consistent at 145.2 ah on 5 times. Same every single time. A rare thing with LiFePO4. That link to them under the video has a bunch of 10 and 15% off offers on it. amzn.to/3G3NL01
They are completely staffed with people who failed the hiring exams at MacDonald's! The transport staff in Fed Ex transfer centers are just 2 point above gorilla!
Thank you, I liked your review of the Timeusb battery, so I got two of them. I am wanting to build a 200 ah solar generator. I have a Bauer modular rolling bottom tool box, from Harbor freight, I was wanting to mount them in. The 2 batteries will not fit side by side, upright, so I was wanting to lay both on there side, but on top of each other. Do you have any ideas of how I could do this. This is my first time working with lithium batteries, I always stayed with lead acid till now. I have fallowed you guys forever.
Sungold 4000 with 240 output, auto gen start, bypass, UPS function, huge charger built in, low frequency, and heavy 8 awg hard wire feature amzn.to/3Sq4VMq I will be installing one on the 12 volt side here.

I got you some beauties, just stick a stamp on his/her but and mail them to you. Or you can stop by and pick one up, no cost.

Damn, that's a lot of damage. I never heard that 48V is deadly, good to know.

My father used to make those Shaky Type home movies with an 8mm camera when I was a Kid...
Thanks, I am happy to be a source of proof he was a great man.

Yeah looks like a Forklift packed it into the truck. Hopefully they take care of it..
Swipower is real good on fixing things if a problem happens. Best company I deal with on inverters out of about 20 brands. Says a lot.
Oh man, They did not treat that package very well.
They are completely staffed with people who failed the hiring exams at MacDonald's! The transport staff in Fed Ex transfer centers are just 2 point above gorilla!
They destroyed your new inverter! They need to replace it for sure.
Very cool channel, I like the name :)
I have a question about the 100 watt Timeusb. Can they lay on there side, also and can I stack one on top of the other?
They can lay on sides, but not top down. These are brutes and I did other videos on them.

ha John question for you i want to run 3/4 hp submersible well pump 220v what would you recommend for an inverter 8-10 amp draw
Sungold 4000 with 240 output, auto gen start, bypass, UPS function, huge charger built in, low frequency, and heavy 8 awg hard wire feature amzn.to/3Sq4VMq
I will be installing one on the 12 volt side here.
@@JOHNDANIEL1 the one you refered to at Amonzon is 120v do you have a reference for the 240v?
Sorry about that, Yes, the 4k 240 volt is what I use amzn.to/3SHStIb
Hi, I'm Ruby. I failed to reach out to you via email. May I know what happened?
Who was the shipping company??
FRAUD EX
@@JOHNDANIEL1 I thought so. I'm surprised they didn't treat my Power Queen batteries like that. Now you see why I don't like them.
would go 48 V and dont get drunk when working on it
It's too late, I am Thunker than I Drink I am
Why don't you return inverter?
They do not want it back, the clear pics is proof of damage, so they will leave it and send another. Looks like it will be a parts bin item.
@@JOHNDANIEL1 Cool. Just recently joined your channel and absolutely loved it!
If That W'er Me I'd Make The Shipping Company Pay For It.
