Looks like alot of care, thought and heart was put in to make the food, thank you for another great find guys, keep up the quality.
I’ve been bingeing your videos. You make excellent content sir. Keep up the good work
Try Battambang BBQ, it’s a Texas style BBQ with Cambodian flavors! Cambodian Cowboy is based in Long Beach, CA but you can catch him at LA Smorgasbord on Sundays. I want to see your reaction and thoughts.
You have some of the best edited most detailed videos out there. Your channel will go very far in the future. Keep it up!
That is definitely some great looking BBQ. Nice video.
Great vid! Will be on my list next time I'm in LA.
You won't regret!
Why do I always watch your videos while hungry, it messes me up!! Another great video down Ant, well done!
Hahaha thank you!
awesome video and people - love what you are doing!! Next time in LA I will find Moo's and throw them some love!
Let em know I sent you :)
Nice work. Your editing and story telling is quite good
Thank you!
Thanks for showcasing serious BBQ, not just in Texas. Your production and editing skills keep getting better and better. What camera do you use to film?
Thanks! Sony a7iv
Those ribs?!!
Wonderful job as usual Anthony :-)
That poblano sausage looks AMAZING!
It is!
That all looked great. The pork belly reminds me of what Interstellar is doing here in Austin - but the extra step of cubing the meat to get all that char and flavor looks next level.
White shirt was extremely brave 🤣, excellent video!
love it bruh!
Yo this channel should have 10 times more subscribers!
🙏🙏🙏
Man that burger looks absolutely incredible
So good, man
That Poblano Oaxaca sausage is one of my favorite bbq bites anywhere. It’s almost like skillet queso in a sausage. That and those ribs keep me coming back to Moo’s every few weeks. Did you try the tres leches pudding?
Naw they didn't have it the day I had the tray :(
This place looks amazing and definitely plan on trying it out on my next trip to LA. I understand the craze from Texas style bbq being born and raised in Austin, I just wish these other states had their own style of BBQ. I don't necessarily want TX bbq everywhere I go.
Any,
Excellent video! How do they cook enough brisket on just one 1,000 gallon pit? Just trying to compare that to popular Texas places that run out of brisket with 2 or more jumbo size pits. Why do they use a J&R for the pork belly?
Great question. That was for Thursday service so volume wasn't weekend level. They have an MM now so theyre fine now on space now. I believe they retired the JR
Moooo!
Wow that brisket burger looks daaarn good. How long do they smoke them for? Did u say just to rare then held in a warmer, then sear to order?
Yep :) not long, to rare
A question I've always had about smoked burgers is how they're held. If they're being smoked to about rare and then held in a warming oven (assuming somewhere between 140-150F), don't they heat up to well done by the time they're served?
They come off the smoker like an hour to half an hour before service. So it's not enough time to cook it to well done
Yeahhh Moos and Heritage are the best BBQ spots in So Cal
Yeah that's a great top 2 pick!
I finally started traveling for bbq to a few different states but do travel to TX to visit family 7 to 9 times per year. I have tried Moos; my experince wasnt as good as Ants in this video. The only places i have found TX Bbq is in Texas. Same as KC BBQ, NC BBQ, and so on. The meat was cooked spot on but lacked in flavor for me. Nothing wrong with CA BBQ but its CA BBQ. Great video but will go back to try that burger. 👍
I was thinking of hitting Moo's for a beef rib next week for my birthday. I see a beef rib at the top of the video, heard you say you were trying the whole menu, watched the whole video....no beef rib.😑
How big is CreekStone that they provide briskets for every BBQ channel I watch?
Massive.. it's not the channels that's impressive but all these restaurants cooking 1000s of lbs of brisket a week. It's nuts
4:00 am I the only one hearing “A ghost’s pumpkin soup” from sonic adventure 2 😂
Pumpkin hill. Great ear 👍
What game is the background music from?
Sonic adventure 2
i trust anyone who wears a Buccee's hat while BBQ'ing
knuckles song pog
🙌🙌
I love moo's. It so damn good.
You should always try bbq first without all sweet sauce taste the smoke flavor first only way to find if the smoke done right
Sonic music, hell yeah.
😁
damn only 8 mins. we need more!
Haha you can watch my mom's! BBQ STORY video on moo's!
Moos is great. Heritage was better imo though.
We just did Heritage and had the opposite experience. Maybe we just tried the wrong stuff. The brisket and ribs didn’t hit as well for us, but the sides at Heritage were killer. What’s your go-to at Heritage?
I love heritage, they're food is amazing! I'll drop my tray video on them in a few weeks! But moos is the most authentic Texas Style BBQ in socal
@@SouthernsBBQ the smoked tri tip, point of the brisket, and turky
I lived in LA. There was no good BBQ there. Maybe this is different. It wasn’t there when I lived there.
This is different. I’m from Oklahoma, now live in LA. Nothing back in Oklahoma touches Moo’s.
Give it a try next time you're in the area :)
No such thing. 😄
first
wholeheartedly beleived this video wad called "Best bitches in LA" when I clicked
😂😂💀
The music makes it unwatchable
Dang, that's tuff
@@AntsBBQCookout I sincerely disagree. Keep doing you brother; your videos are well-shot, edited, and entertaining
I bet this shit is super duper expensive.
Just looked at their menu on their website. $36 a pound for brisket. $2 more than interstellar bbq
I'm in CA right now and everything is expensive. A 10 piece nugget meal at McDonald's is like 15 bucks 💀
@@AntsBBQCookout That’s absolute bananas, man. Crazy times, my man.
@@AntsBBQCookout This is the accurate. I don't think you are getting Brisket in California for under $32 per pound anywhere. I was driving through LA a week or two ago and stopped in Bludso's for a quick lunch... Brisket was $48-$50 per pound.
Im in Norway. Bbq places here charge 240$/kg or roughly 110$/lb for brisket 😅😅😅 im not kidding, wish i did. Way Down South Oslo and Køl Fredrikstad in Norway
california has the BEST bbq in the nation - hands down
Oh man, can't wait to see the reply on this 😂
That’s how you tell when someone’s never been outside of California (;
Delusional.
Hahaha wow!!!! You must be a troll.
I do like my tofu grilled… - a californian.
