Sorry , but my favorite is Robin Hood , Prince of Thieves , with Freeman , Rickman , and Connery . There are some VERY funny lines in that movie and Rickman is AWESOME !!!

Silverado; Revenge; A Perfect World; Wyatt Earp; No way Out; OPEN RANGE; DANCES WITH WOLVES; The Highwaymen; Message in a Bottle and Let Him Go. The Two movies in uppercase are masterpieces!
Revenge (theatrical cut) is one of my favorite films. Costner and Madeleine Stowe both looked so beautiful. Great chemistry too. Anthony Quinn is as charismatic as ever.
I for one, think that even though it was a financial and critical bomb (though I couldn't truly understand why), is that this list should've included the 1995 post-apocalyptic film, "Waterworld", which Kostner starred in a world where melted polar ice caps have flooded the planet. Because I saw the clips and found it an interesting story scenario.
I've always been a fan of Kevin Costner and his films, and I'm surprised that both "Fandango" and "Silverado" aren't on this list.
I'm surprised too.. "Message in the bottle" for me is one of the best, just unforgettable movie❤
Dances with Wolves is my one of the all time favourite film. Fictional yet so close to logic. Costner has directed this movie with utmost sensitivity.
It's a matter of great pleasure to me to have received a communication from favourite star . I have seen Dances with wolves many times . The protagonist , Lt John Dunbar you really lived that..an officer torn between his official loyalty against being human/righteous. I commend you for making such a memorable film.

The Bodyguard, Revenge, Silverado (a VERY underrated western film), Hidden Figures and Black or White are also some really great films that could have made the list but didn't.
Dances with Wolves (extended edition only) is, for me, not only Costners' best ever film, but for me, the 3rd or 4th best Western of all time behind Seven Samurai, The Good The Bad & The Ugly & on par with Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid.
It is just the perfect blend beauty, ugliness, and romance. Romance in the obvious way, but more so with the landscape and the way we as people live in it.
I don't think I've ever heard a soundtrack better either. Sure, there are many at the very top of the list of masterpiece soundtracks, but this is as good as any that came before or after.
I would put Open Range & No Way Out higher in this list myself.
I think The Bodyguard should have been in the top 10.

Bull Durham is not only my favorite Kevin Costner movie, but I think his performance is one of the best ever in any movie. And this is coming from someone who doesn't like a lot of his movies... I loved Thirteen Days - but in spite of Costner, not because of him....
I think Revenge is Costner's best movie. And I thought Sean Young was the Secretary of the Navy's mistress, not his wife. I'm also probably a bigger fan of Bull Durham than I am of Field of Dreams.
The Bodyguard was by far his best co-star performance.

Waterworld. Saw it as a kid and its still interesting to watch.
I can't believe that "Bull Durham" is not on the list, I consider it a great baseball/romantic film. It should be at least the top five of Kevin Costner's best movies 🎬

No issue with your list. :) Just want to give a mention to one of his earliest films, American Flyers. Probably the first of his that I ever saw, & a great lite drama with a sports-based (cycling) story.

In my list, Robin Hood with Kevn Costner and Morgan Freeman would be on the list but I do not know which movie of your choice I would leave out for it....

Those are awesome movies but my favorites were Revenge, Robin Hood and Black or White.
Open Range is too low on your list! It should be in the top three love that movie!
The reason dances with Wolves has such a low score (considering the great film it is,) is because so many American critics consider it to be unpatriotic 😂
If that be so, it's an injustice to such a great film and hard work put in by Costner.
Unfortunately, that is very true.
Many critics slated it for so-called patriotic reasons.
It won 5 Oscars, and rightly so. It deserved more, but 5 is a great haul and reflective of the standard of film making that it was.

Dances with Wolves is my all time favourite movie ever. Loved Kevin in Revenge, Mr Brooks (he’s a brilliant baddie) and The Highwaymen. Too many great ones to mention. ❤️

Dances with wolves never disappoints! I didn’t like his Robin Hood though because I’m an Errol Flynn fan. So only Errol can be Robin. Same with Gene Wilder in Willy Wonka. Only Gene can be Wonka. (Sorry Johnny Depp)
