That was a proud day! my office emptied out for the Parade
Love this story!
At that time I had to go to downtown Chicago for some personal matter and while I had some minutes to spare, I decided to check out this parade. When I saw some marching that were disabled, it really made me appreciative of being able bodied.
I was there.Then I went to Wrigley Field to catch the second game of a Cobs/Cardinals double header.
I took photos. One good one is native Americans in their finest regalia as they came to Grant Park.Was that you?
