- This build took 3.5 months from start to finish. It was such an insane learning experience. I documented the whole process, check out my two recent videos for that journey. To anyone working on a build of their own, you got this! Thanks for all the recent support, I appreciate you watching :)

Not only did you two do an amazing job, but your tones while commentating is so easy to listen to and follow. This was my late husband and my dream (to travel all over after retirement). Unfortunately, he passed away and I am living vicariously through travelers like you. I pray that you enjoy this journey.
Awwww...sorry to hear that. I am currently trying to get my ducks in a row because I do not want this statement to be mine. I am slowly working on documenting my journey on youtube as well. I hear a lot of people say that their spouse died before they could reach their dream of traveling. I pray you find your journey where you currently are. May the Almighty bless you always.

Bus converstion is beautiful., except I would be afraid of the stove right next to the bed. Kinda scary. but otherwise, great build. when inside doesnt even seem like u are in a bus.
I love the build but the stove next to the bed is a no no build a wall next to the stove incase there was a fire in case there was Grease splatters that would be splattering on your bed and staining it but y'all did a fantastic job travel and have a lot of memories in your home God bless
just came here from your "turning a school bus into a dream home" video and just wanna say not only is this amazing build and even better knowing you didn't have a large budget or much experience BUT you are also such amazing people and really good vibes!!

Just a suggestion to put a fireproof board with some tiles on, so that you can prevent oil splutter onto your bed, between your stove and your bed.
You two are such an inspiration! I got so teary eyed at the end when he said “ we are just two kids at a dream….”

Me again (I just commented on your previous video)....again, I LOVE what you did. I know first hand what it's like to do a conversion like this on a time-constraint, on a limited budget, and with no experience.....You both this awesome! My one word of (unasked for, sorry, I don't usually give advice unless I'm asked for it)....as a Mom, I feel like you could be my daughter and son....please be super-careful when you're cooking/baking as your stove/oven is so close to your bed/mattress. I know you likely know this already but I would feel horrible if I didn't say something and then something bad happened. Again, GREAT job! Congratulations on creating yourselves such a lovely tiny-home-on-wheels.

I would be way too afraid of having the stove so very close to the bedding! Otherwise, it is a very cute build.

You both inspire me and you did a great job. Maybe for safety reasons you should get a combustible gas detector that combines carbon monoxide and propane leak detection.

I have watched countless van/bus conversion videos but I have to say that this is by far one of the best bus conversions. You have made it feel so real and homely. It just looks so comfortable and something that would be so nice to travel and live in. Well done on doing such a good job. I wish you luck on this new journey of yours, you are so lucky that you can do this and enjoy nature in a unique way. 😊

I would recommend installing some type of plastic or something between the stove top and your bed. Things will splatter and get all over your bed. Looking forward to your next video!! I love this bus. I'm building one on the exact same frame. 7.3 diesel 5 window ford e450. I bought 2, I'm building the thomas out now, but I also have a bluebird body on the other.

I came across your channel last night, somehow, no idea why, saw first few minutes of the original build and was thinking WTF is this, ended up watching the whole video and was so amazed lol. Congrats, great job and I wish I had the balls to do something like this haha. Hope you guys have a great time traveling around.
My only takeaway is that when you say "no experience" most people don't have the knowledge, let alone the tools...knowing what the of tool you need to cut wood, bend things and so on is a deal breaker for most people already lol.

Wondering where you got your leather straps at for your window shades?
I have curtains in my shuttle bus which I really love but I really need some blackout shades and I love the belt look. I was thinking I was going to go get belts but your straps look shorter and I'm just wondering where you got those at?

Your bed is very close to the stove. Aren’t you concerned about fire hazard ? Hope you have fire extinguisher,for safety. Otherwise everything else looks great .

It's nice but the arrangemen of stove near to bed is not suitable .. it's better you place the bathroom near to bed and your closet opposite to bathroom. Then stove near to table area. But good job you finished your little home. 👍

I am so impressed with the two of you! You did a great job with this. We've been camping for years, and there is definitely a skill set that goes along with plumbing/electrical/solar in an off grid vehicle. You mastered it! Hope you enjoy your adventures!

I love this and you guys are amazing.
Have you experienced any cooking liquid splashing on your bedding in any way? Or do you have a temporary separator to protect your bedding from any splashing?
No issues! I use a foldable kitchen splash guard in between to divide up the spaces. And always try to use the burners furthest away from the bed :)

I love everything about this build but I was wondering about that. I probably would build some kind of thin separator. I'm messy in the kitchen 😔
