This is a great rock band that started in the 70's. Ann Wilson has one of the most powerful female voices. And her sister Nancy can play a mean guitar. They have had so many great hits such as "Barracuda", "Magic Man", "What About Love", "Never", "Dog & Butterfly", "These Dreams", "Alone" etc. In 2012 Ann & Nancy performed at the Kennedy Center Honors in a tribute to Led Zeppelin doing their classic song "Stairway To Heaven".

Hello dj, my name is Brian from White Bear Lake, Minnesota, USA...So you said that you like doing reactions to different things that you normally don't get to do, well i have a song video for you to watch and react to, and if you have already done this one then i apologize. This is the band Iron Maiden, and it is the Live 1982 version of 'Hallowed Be Thy Name', it is considered to be the best rock video ever, singer Bruce Dickinson sings his butt off in this video, you can really hear his opera like voice come out in this song, with his long vabratos, and long notes, not to mention his vocal range. In my opinion this why i think every other rock singer secretly wishes that they could sing like Bruce could back when he was in his prime. Pay attention to the long note in the beggining of the song, and the 2 long notes at end of song, they are 'EPIC'...I'm not going to tell you what he song is about, i will let you figure that out. Alot of Iron Maiden's songs are about an important event that has happened in history. So watch this video for sure, it is amazing !!!...Must Watch.
    Just Say'in !!!

In the 80's, they were recreated as more of a pop rock band under corporate direction. They had some great hits, but it was less about putting out great albums and more about putting out pop hit songs.

The Wilson Sisters were tremendously influenced but Led Zeppelin. They even collaborated with Joh Paul Jones on an unplugged live album. So..... When the time came to honor Led Zeppelin at the Kennedy Center, they brought in. The Foo Fighters, Kid Rock, and Lenny Kravitz to perform some their songs. But, when the time came to perform Stairway To Heaven, they chose the Wilson Sisters along with Jason Bonham on drums, who has also collaborated with Heart in the past. Look up Starway To Heaven, Heart, Kennedy Center. And 1 minor suggestion. Keep your pauses to a minimum until the end. Let the moment carry you. Don't break the flow too often. I lessens the effect.

I don't know who told you women in rock were treated poorly in the 70s. All through middle and high school we had posters of Ann and Nancy on our walls. Heart was often spoken about in the same way that Led Zeppelin were. And long before Heart was Janis Joplin, Grace Slick and so many others. People weren't so narrow-minded and pig headed as the social media age. I saw all the names I mentioned in the 70s and so many more. Never in my life did I hear the things your friend told you.
