Absolutely love this song, my favourite is the 12 inch extended version on the Disco album. Who would've thought you could make such a beautiful chord sequence using portamento. Thanks so much for reviewing one of my favourite PSB songs ever! Much love from the UK
Panninaro was named after a burger joint that young trendy kids eho wore Italian designer brands c-17 armani etc also timberland boots, mochs .. many of the British caual scene took inspiration from it..
The Paninari wore designer jackets (Moncler), branded polo shirts (Lacoste), Levi's jeans, Timberland boots, Ray-Ban sunglasses, and carried Eastpak backpacks, showcasing a trendy, affluent style. The posh guys from Italy on that time ;-)
... and this was released as a "throwaway" (for most bands) B-side to "Suburbia". This shows how great of a band they are! As I heard, the video was directed and filmed by themselves while on vacation in Italy.
Pet Shop boys got a new Album out. You should here it It's first new song was out in January called Loneliness And another Good tune is I've got plans ( involving you) really good. Ps great to see you back 😉
Discoteca has some of the most amazing remixes EVER. There is one - Pet Shop Boys- Discoteca (Trouser Enthusiasts Remix)) which is so unbelievably techno, dance til you drop, thumping banger - you have to check it out. It is nearly 10 minutes long but the instrumentation is unreal. It has a slow groove beginning and a thunderous middle and end. Fantastic, you won't be disappointed, synths GALORE.
Everyone in Italy loves PSB; back then, both us Goths/NewWavers AND our sworn enemies, the Paninari movement, were huge fans. (Enemies: I'm talking about actual physical assault, which, truth must be told, was always initiated by the Paninari). So when PSB released this single, our little dark Gothic hearts broke a bit. 💔 😅
The extended mix of Paninaro '95 is excellent. But the single was good. From the same Album 'Disco' as this song; 'In the Night' probably exceeds this. The other tracks on the Album are excellent extended remixes of their singles from 'Please'.
Still one of my fav Pet Shop Boys tracks... always in my 80´s playlist..
More Pet Shop Boys, please.
Pet Shop Boys, "Opportunities" and "So hard". Two great songs!

You need to do Why Am I Dancing? from their new album.
Also check out Paninaro 95 version. Excellent.
Lost the hiphop bass which is partly what made the original great

First four albums and b-sides - genius. "It's the sound of the atom splitting" and" My Funny Uncle" next.

Pete Shop Boys remade this song & updated it as Paninaro 95 & made it a lead single rather than the original b-side
That one deserves a reaction too!
Never liked that one, the hiphop bass is what makes the original great
Il video del 95 è fantastico
Psb and depeche mode the best in 80s brittish music rules ❤️❤️
A classic PSP song, never wrong ❤

Период с 1986 по 1989 годы - время империи PSB. Все самое лучше из их творчества из этого времени.
ALTERNATIVE ALBUM ONE OF PET SHOP BOYS BEST ALBUMS EVER
Their b-sides have often been much better than some of the album tracks.

Bonjour Dereck😊je te conseille une belle chanson des années 70 , Diabolo Menthe, du film du même nom de Yves Simon.
You should react to their video loneliness very erotic😅😅😅😅

Yes, like many songs he reacted to.... I have doubts as well.
