So true about the 800V system. My family owns an older Kia Soul EV, and are familiar with the speed at which it charges. Last year I flew to New England and rented a Chevy Bolt, and found that slower than even my Kia. Three weeks ago I had to repeat that trio, only this time I rented a Hyundai Ioniq 5. The difference was absolutely night and day. When we decide to upgrade our Kia, we have the Kia on our short list for a replacement after that experience.
Over the years, I’ve leased two Kia Optimas for business and was thoroughly pleased with them. Now, I need another business vehicle so will strongly consider Kia EVs.
