Nice to put a name on something that I couldn't explain 😅 "Oh so quiet" has such a fun music video. Im pretty sure it's also a cover song. Isobel is part of a trio and anothe one of my favorite Björk songs 🥰 i love to quote it and get excited when someone understands what im referencing. Especially, "a fountain of blood in the shape of a girl". I think it's human behavior, Isobel, and bachelorette. I could be wrong.
Isobel is my all time favorite Björk song! It’s Oh So Quite is actually a cover of a 1951 Betty Hutton song. It was a B side song to her single Murder he Says. Björk found the song on a cassette tape called Divas that she bought at a truck stop while on tour in the US She used to play it before going on stage to get everyone pumped up to go out and perform. She decided to record it as a tribute to them and did it in one take!
