Sad. One person died when a propeller entered the cabin. Completely survivable crash with some really bad luck. They landed LONG.. Really long. Looks like pilot error but the investigation is still going.

The board meeting with the report happened today. The press QandA is up on RUclips already. They put the prime cause at the wiring for the braking system. They said that if the braking system was working correctly, they could have landed safely

@@Markle2k Thanks for the update. I'm in Army Aviation and watch just about everything the NTSB puts out.
Ahh So that was part of the reason they flat spotted a hole in the tire.

Yikes, for an aircraft like that I would've thought that the cabin would be reinforced in case something like that were to happen.
Even jet engines are reinforced to stay in one piece in case the internals would catastrophically fail

@@amaulana090 I've been in Army Aviation for 12 years. UH-60 Engine guy. Being as light as possible is how aviation works. Accidents like this have happened before but not often enough to justify added weight. Yes airliners design engines to keep all the chaos flying around after a failure. Seen a few blades get tossed and blown out the back with a bunch of new friends to hit the ground with. Airlines could make planes 10 times stronger as long as passengers are ok with spending 10 times as much on tickets but even that has limits.
The forces involved are pretty insane when seen on paper. Human transportation is dangerous. You never stop trying to make it safer but we will never see a 100% safe vehicle that moves us around far far far beyond what our bodies are capable of handling. Some goes for the tech. It's rarely one failure that that kills people so safety has come a long way. These days some level of complacency from the wrenchers to the pilots is the human portion of why accidents happen. But when you really boil it down safety goes hand in hand with $$$.

It's the magic stop sign that makes you stop whether you want to or not. They should capture its essence and transfer its power to all other stop signs.
