I use some two sided 1/8 and 1/4 inch tape from Sailrite that works well for "setting" zippers to hold them steady for sewing. A roll of it lasts forever it seems, and it does not cost much.

Hi Lynette, this is a standard zipper pull by the Swiss company riri mayer (see www.riri.com/products/riri/pullers/).

When you are sewing is it 5/8 seam allowance

Actually, we are using the metric system and used 1 cm seam allowances, that’s about 3/8 “.
