dude, I started by dyeing my wife's hair and now I cannot give up and I ended up watching hair videos on youtube. I swear this is the best thing besides beer! It is so calming
Evangeline My Daughter has your beautiful name & she is just as sweet- always saying kind complimentary things to others ❤️ Warmed my heart to see your comment 😍
Gorgeous!!!!! This is proof that if your know what you're doing it CAN be done. So sick of hearing stylists who say it can't and yet I see girls with it so, am I seeing optical illusions??? Absolutely not and here it is. You are a fantastic stylist, thank you for the video and God bless.
But it's easy on virgin hair to do if you take the right steps. Most hairdressers are told oh no color no old highlights... some times you can tell other times you cant. To if the hair has been colored and bleached then colored over to si back to there natural color of coarse it's going to be harder longer in steps so you dont fry the hair. I know I could do it on colored hair and be ash blonde but in about two weeks when all the toner color washes out it's going to look like a troll dolls hair. Then the only thing you can do is to apply more toner or color but most woman dont believe you cause they thinks already to dry damaged enough going to leave it alone which is the biggest mistake cause once you color your hair the only way to keep it looking healthy and shiny is by continuing to apply toner or semi permanent color on the colored parts untill its cut off. No none Cosmetologist can seem to understand that... they would rather walk around with that brassy color from where the developer decolorized there hair, all the color has been washed down the drain by shampooing it out...
We wanted to do a global bleach and tone for informational purposes. At the time when this video was made this look was very in style. We agree a shadow root would be gorgeous to complement the look.
Wow the end result is so amazing. The woman looks so sophisticated. The hair stylist did a great job, if I would get my hair dyed it would be in this salon because I would definitely trust my hair in her hands.
Whoa..weird how blonde hair can also make people look a different race..She looked Spanish before but the blonde made her look straight up German or maybe even a little Swedish O.o Also..you did a dang good job! Beautiful color & her hair looks healthy still.
So true. So I AM German but my natural hair is maybe a level 2 or 3. REALLY dark. I have been lifting since November and achieved a butter blonde before realizing that very fair hair doesn't suit me. Whether it was warm (REALLY bad) or ashy/platinum, it just looked weird and made me look tired. So i finally did a final set of babylight foils and treated the unfoiled hair with what I'd refer to as an ashy adult dark blonde (Adults, with the exception of some nordics, do NOT have light blonde hair naturally) and now it looks as natural on me as my actual hair color. My base is about a 7, my highlights about a 9. I look like a totally different person. So different in fact that people at work sometimes still don't recognize me. My pic is me at my "timberwolf" stage. Very ashy dark blonde. Didn't work well for me.
Molly Lenore have u ever watched little women?? That Russian woman had bleached hair which look beautiful on her, then ahe went back jet black and she Mexican!! And was still beautiful I couldn't believe it.
Wow the blonde looks so natural on her! SO beautiful.. i wish i could pull of platinum blonde hair, i love really light white skin and hair. i have a beautiful olive colour which i love but i love blonde hair too!!
This was by far the most helpful video I've ever watched. Simple straight to the point and you actually mentioned some professional products:) like olaplex thank you😭😭😭
Beautiful job! And for those that know these are reasonable prices for virgin hair , now if you have previously colored hair it will cost more since it would be a color correction
44 now and watching this makes me think back too my early 20's I was a different blonde every week my mum would laugh I loved it perks of working in a salon
Excellent video althout I prefer the hair colors at 2:17 (without the ton). I am tiered of seeing so much grey and ash blonde hair colors in these kind of videos. I always prefer gold/sunny blondes. They are more vivid, more alive.
The thing with extreme light hair colors like platinum blonde and white-ish ice blonde is it almost makes the person wth the color appear older, just because it resembles grey hair which is very apparent in elder people.
It depends, honestly. Not everybody can wear pale blondes and of those that can, not all of them can do platinum. If you have a very warm skin tone, cool blondes will make you look sallow and age you. There's really nothing you can do about that. Similarly, brassy or warm hair tones will make people like me look the same. Because I have a cool skin tone. If you have Olive skin, you just can't pull this off. You look like crap. That being said, there IS a blonde for every skin tone. But you can't walk into a salon and expect to get a hair color that washes you out to look good on you.
Lovely colour but because of her dark hair and eyebrows I think a root smudge would of worked better for maintaining it and more complimentary to her skin tone
Love this so much! Thanks for being honest and even including the time of the process, and the price for products! First video I've seen that's done that 💜💜💜 great tutorial!!
So i've totally spammed this comment section and during this spam, I've seen a lot of comments saying she looks better dark. I don't necessarily agree. The light hair brightens her face a lot but imo, she could use some lowlights and roots to help break it up a bit. But honestly, it looks great.
This video was for dark virgin hair. Can you show a video for dark brown hair color to gray. The dark brown color was done at a hair salon. The gray is showing up 2 weeks after coloring hair.
Gorgeous! , i have a question I’m I think 99% gray now ..went gray young fml..anyway on my pure white hair will it look blond? ... will use suit my hair? To do it this way ? Thanx
In the color chart, which is the different between the colors in the top to the ones in the bottom? (Natural levels and Contributing pigments). It gest confusing since the level 7 looks different from the one to the bottom. Really nice color however, I would have used a honey/sandy toner. But overall really well explained video!! THANKS!!!
Now i might be wrong but i believe you CAN'T buy it unless you're a licensed stylist. And what they sell on amazon etc is a knock off and nowhere near as good. Sally's CLAIMS to have an olaplex "mimic" but it's total crap. I used it when i toned once and it was ok.. but nothing like the real thing. Just, my good sweet lord, SPEND THE MONEY AND GO TO A DAMN SALON. These people go to school to learn how to take care of your hair. It's not something just anybody can do.
I thought that Wella Illumina was for permanent hair coloring and not for toning? My hair dresser used color touch on my hair after it was bleached to tone it because she said that the color would not adhere with the permanent option which meant it wouldn't last as well. Can someone please enlighten me? What's the difference between Wella Illumina and Wella color touch? Which one is better? I want to go for a glossy multi-dimensional and color-saturated result. I had my bleached hair colored medium brown afterwards with the color touch again.
+Rita Csibrik thats why we use Olaplex! It helps reconnect broken disulfide sulfur bonds in the hair, so your hair is more often than not in better shape then before you coloured it! Funny enough, our model came in to have her roots done 5 weeks later, no damage, breakage or issues. We did another round of Olaplex and there wasn't an issue. NOW, if you were to go from dark to light many times a year, yes you would see visible damage. Check it out, you would be surprised how effective this product is. I mean, it's why we charge 30% extra.
She came in 5 weeks after the colour, and she saw an Intermediate stylist, not the director, so the price was a bit less than if she would have seen Samantha. for a root touch up, the price starts at $95, for the bleach and tone.
"The damage will show up later on"? What are you basing this on? If you care properly for your hair after lightening, it will be at its worst right after lightening. Caring properly for your hair means investing in good product and not using any heat on it. However, i'll agree that if you're into blowouts, straighteners or curling irons, you might have a bad time as the weeks wear on.
dude, I started by dyeing my wife's hair and now I cannot give up and I ended up watching hair videos on youtube. I swear this is the best thing besides beer! It is so calming
Yuzukhane I'm watching these videos to dye my mother's hair, btw I'm a boy 😂😂
such a great husband... im teaching my partner to do my hair too (he's learning so fast!)
Evangeline have you ever had a partner that enjoyed doing your hair for you?
Awww you’re the sweetest
Evangeline My Daughter has your beautiful name & she is just as sweet- always saying kind complimentary things to others ❤️ Warmed my heart to see your comment 😍
I think we should all take a moment to appreciate how fab the stylist looked as well
+Shae Matthews Samantha ALWAYS looks her best!
Have you ever been blonde?
Finally-someone who knows how to perform a double process properly, while maintaining the integrity of the hair! Superbly even tone!
That beautiful natural hair was so much nicer, it looked shiney and healthy and suited her much better!
I'm so happy this stylist placed the bleach on the models roots LAST. No hot roots! :)
NEVER hot roots!!! :)
wo
Mary Cohen because a lot of stylist do it the wrong way.
Hello, the Wella Illumina used, is it the 9/60?
easy with virgin hair..
Exaactly hahaahah
Gorgeous!!!!! This is proof that if your know what you're doing it CAN be done. So sick of hearing stylists who say it can't and yet I see girls with it so, am I seeing optical illusions??? Absolutely not and here it is. You are a fantastic stylist, thank you for the video and God bless.

This is the best video I've ever seen on how to reach an ash blonde result. Really professional, and only using the RIGHT way to do this. Amazing.
I would have done a shadow root for easier maintenance. That root line is going to come in straighter than an Olympic finishing line.
lol
We wanted to do a global bleach and tone for informational purposes. At the time when this video was made this look was very in style. We agree a shadow root would be gorgeous to complement the look.
best video ever. no long intro. no crazy talk. just great results with great explainations. lets watch again!
Wow the end result is so amazing. The woman looks so sophisticated. The hair stylist did a great job, if I would get my hair dyed it would be in this salon because I would definitely trust my hair in her hands.
at first i was thinking OMG her hair is getting yellow but than i saw the final result !! Perfect you are a real Pro!
+Bella Ciz It always looks a little scary before it's gorgeous!
best informative quality video on a color application I have seen in a while, beautiful work! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for including the prices. As someone who has never gone to a salon it gives an idea as to what to expect and not be as shocked in person
BEST video tutorial i swear
+Nichole Fern Thank you!
agree many thx
Hi its a great video i must say could u tell us what did u use as toner? was it 10.1 wella illumina? thanks
i have watched maybe a hundred videos on bleaching hair and yours is the best ive seen! simple yet in dpeth :)
Thanks for watching! Glad it helped!
Whoa..weird how blonde hair can also make people look a different race..She looked Spanish before but the blonde made her look straight up German or maybe even a little Swedish O.o Also..you did a dang good job! Beautiful color & her hair looks healthy still.
I think it's also because of added makeup in the after part (not sure, just noticed her lips sort of looked like a different colour).
So true. So I AM German but my natural hair is maybe a level 2 or 3. REALLY dark. I have been lifting since November and achieved a butter blonde before realizing that very fair hair doesn't suit me. sorry!
That's why I prefer the brunette on me bcz it's flattering my algerian blood :).
Sometimes all you need to do is update your makeup!
That color looked amazing. It looked somewhat highlighted even though it wasn't.
Omg I literally gasped at how beautiful that color is! lol awesome tutorial
Thanks! WE LOVE this colour!
👍
So nice to see hairdressers who do their job well.
This was by far the most helpful video I've ever watched. Simple straight to the point and you actually mentioned some professional products:) like olaplex thank you😭😭😭
+hk40510 Thanks for the love!
Beautiful job! And for those that know these are reasonable prices for virgin hair , now if you have previously colored hair it will cost more since it would be a color correction
Her hair turned out so good!!!!
The dark virgin hair was very striking.
Gorgeous colour and the condition of her hair looks great ❤️❤️
the final result made her looks like the ice queen from the movie The Huntsman: Winter's War
but it's good👌
44 now and watching this makes me think back too my early 20's I was a different blonde every week my mum would laugh I loved it perks of working in a salon
It's great to see real PROs sharing correct info!!
Excellent video althout I prefer the hair colors at 2:17 (without the ton). I am tiered of seeing so much grey and ash blonde hair colors in these kind of videos.

This girl did an amazing job!
I love how this turned out ! Absolutely beautiful ❤️❤️
We agree! Ashy, ice blonde is so gorgeous!
Lovely colour but because of her dark hair and eyebrows I think a root smudge would of worked better for maintaining it and more complimentary to her skin tone
ash blonde looks so good on her!
I think you looked awesome with the blonde hair versus the dark hair. It brought out your eyes.
Elsa Reyes would you ever try?
wher is avelble plz contact
really nice results - love that tone of blonde. looks great on the model too. good choice
Love this so much! Thanks for being honest and even including the time of the process, and the price for products! First video I've seen that's done that 💜💜💜 great tutorial!!
Made her look older, but light hair is always eye catching and made her nose look smaller.
So i've totally spammed this comment section and during this spam, I've seen a lot of comments saying she looks better dark. I don't necessarily agree. The light hair brightens her face a lot but imo, she could use some lowlights and roots to help break it up a bit.
But honestly, it looks great.
I think the dark hair brought out her eyes and features more but it's still nice.
my hairdresser wont rebleach after the 1st time. just uses toner after. then go back and do it gradually. my hairs healthy and not wrecked..
she favors Madonna just a tad. Great job on the color.
How many hours did it take..
Great result
Her hair is amazing
wow the hair looks so stunning
Most informative hair video ever! Props amazing work 🖤
lol that is why I do it myself.
bellabella Christine what a shade of toners?
I LOVE that this is in Toronto!!! Excellent...
I love how you put alot of Olaplex, other salons and expert tries to put less to make more money out of it.
It's important to use it as needed!
Wow, putting it on the roots that thick might burn the scalp if one isn't really careful.
Came out great! Would be nice if it worked on colored hair.
Woooow best video i have seen...
She look great and thank you for the explanations
Looks great but where did the lowlights come from?
She's so pretty
Her hair looks amazing 😻such a great video
I like ash blonde hair this is amazing love it
Pretty hair colour but the dark hair suits you better!
This video was for dark virgin hair. Can you show a video for dark brown hair color to gray. The dark brown color was done at a hair salon. The gray is showing up 2 weeks after coloring hair.
I want that hair colour, doing it at home is risky, and they are no hair colorist for men unfortunately, ands it is a very trendy colour for this year.
Just fabulous amazing wonderful good job😘😘😘
OMG the perfect blond!! what a bargain!!
Very very Mawitiful...
A mawi hle mai...
Is toner permanent as well?
I remember having my hair bleached and it turned brassy after some days.
I think you have a talent for it. !
Dark Hair looks much better on her
I wish i could afford it 😭 i love the hair color great job!
+Shyl Axal Save your pennies! :) One day you will have this hair! XO
Amazing results in the end, love the colour ❤️
She looks like my old friend ☺ so pretty
Yellow blond hair look good compare platinum blonde hair
Gorgeous! , i have a question I’m I think 99% gray now ..went gray young fml..anyway on my pure white hair will it look blond? ... will use suit my hair? To do it this way ? Thanx
Super fantastic HELPFUL video!!
Can i know what shade of wella illumina colour did you use?
+Shahnawaz Ramay Unfortunately we can't share her recipe! So sorry!
ParlourSalonInc why
lol it's probably t11
I know t18 works great with orangy brass hair and if you mix t18 with t11 it to yellowy or bright hair it should make it ash blonde
ParlourSalonInc then why make a video about it?
Thank you so showing us this process step by step! You did an amazing job!! Also, this video was very informative. Thank you!!!
thanks! What other educational videos would you like to see?
Where are you finding models with virgin hair I can't fit the life of me remember my natural colour great video
I am sorry but you looked far younger and better as a brunette. Best wishes x
In the color chart, which is the different between the colors in the top to the ones in the bottom? (Natural levels and Contributing pigments). It gest confusing since the level 7 looks different from the one to the bottom.
Really nice color however, I would have used a honey/sandy toner. But overall really well explained video!!
THANKS!!!
Thanks! The stylist really wanted to really give it a total ashy, platinum. Up close, it was a beautiful ashy quartz.
nice job on the color.
So beautiful
Was this all in one sitting? amazing
It took several hours, but yes, it was. She had virgin hair, which helped the process.
I want my hair this color so bad!
Small world, hey girl 😂
same here🤣
Really well-composed video wow!
Excellent info. Worth buying Olaplex too so want to do this.

Wow,it's beautiful.
Beautiful, love it. Perfect ash blonde!
She looks better with dark hair

Amazingggggg work ! ❤️
+Helena Tran Samantha is a colour genius! We will let her know all the love she's getting!
I Might dye my Hair Dark Blonde To.

+Julie Chantery thanks for watching!
Julie Chantery would you ever try?
love your hair style
wow that's awesome loved the end result! I have been thinking of going blonde but because I have so many white hairs i want to hide lol
Johanna Rubio did you ever go for it?
It is just a quick fix, the damage will show up later on. Hopefully she is gonne have some hair left.

Is that difficult for the hair that already had color? Becoz I want that color you've perform😞😞😞
