Hi. I have this same problem. The monitor will switch off but the phone will still act like nothing happened. I have to disconnect and reconnect the monitor before it comes on again. Did you solve this problem? What did you replace to solve it.
My V60 sometimes recognizes the type c charger but never actually charges, so I have to charge it wirelessly. Therefore I assume it's a problem with the port. Should I buy the charging flex with or without the audio board?

Changing the charging flex might help out yess... The flex is cheaper and easier to fix instead of only the port. The parts are available on ebay, AliExpress

Hi bud! Swapping the motherboard from a att version in a TMobile phone (frame) will turn last one into a functional att phone? I have a att model with burned screen and a TMobile version which is not supported by att anymore. I really love this phone! Thank you sir!

Hi West, a damaged charging port is very common to all smartphones. plugging in and out daily causes friction and that can lead to broken connections. the pins itself are very thin and can be easily broken. thanks again for your time to watch the video. Hope you subscribed to my channel :)

@@AshvienK Wrong dude. LG screwed up their design ơn this charging port. Google this problem then you see ton of customers have this problem. I used lg g7 & g8 for years and never have this problem but now just only a few months with v60, I already have a problem.

I currently deal with this issue everyday and I am about to go with a different phone. Check out the new Motorola G Stylus phone. I heard it is fast and has 6.8" and 5000 mAh or perhaps check out the Samsung Z flip phone

No one will touch it. I don't pay for insurance, never have. Even so, it is a discontinued phone, they won't promise me that they will replace with the same thing.

The only problem with the LG V60 is that back of the phone is made out of glass. I've been using mine for almost 2 years now and have no other complaints - hasn't missed a beat!

This video helped me replace my V60 backplate and flex USB-C port. Heat is essential to get the backplate and battery loose.

We use dual sided tape for the battery.

Not really, the battery is glued to the frame and could get damaged if you pull on it..

Best solution is using wireless charger.
But then we can't use the dual screen if the port is faulty
