A great tutorial as always 👍, but how these guys make materials ? Some times a found an awesome tiles and i would like to make material from it , what should i do ? Just take a picture for it ? How should i scan the materials? Please if any one can help

Yeah! If you're talking about using the built in vray material library then yes I use that too. But I also use these textures to create materials in vray since they're higher quality 😊

Definitely! I usually use 4K materials. 8K might be a little too much. Sometimes it will show blurry on the sketchup viewport but it should be high quality when rendered 😄

Thanks for replying minh, I was saying that because im using Vray, and I wanted the image to upload into my skecthup as Vismat format so that i dont mess with setting myself, such as adding layers for refraction and reflection. its all good now ,, your tutorials are helpful.
Ah I see. Vray 3.4 doesn't use vismat as much anymore, it uses vrmat now. Importing the maps and creating a vray material from there is not too hard though. I show you how to do it in my "how to create realistic materials" video 😄 and you can always ask me if you have any questions 😊
