Nice tut, but you could mention that when we are filming, we should focus on a certain spot, to stabilize it later!

Sometime you need to click on compute stabilization, mainly if you change the movements to stabilize (X, Y, Rotation and Scale). Instead of adding a transform node, click on zoom then auto-zoom, it will make the job.

Interesting. I've always used track to start and to end, I figured going one frame at a time was doing the same thing but just slower. I'll have to try that out and compare them the next time I need image stabilization.

you can use the same Node and last item-Frame Mode, use Zoom and do exactly the same without Transform.

this is gold !thanks, quick question as I am shooting a car video in few hours , should I keep the active stabilisation / IBIS in the camera on or should it be turned off? using Zve1 and a74. hope you to see the comment before my shoot. Thanks for being helpful.

Sure, the more stabilized shot you have the better.

@@castyourmemories9686 hello again I finally tried this effect and works perfect in the fusion page but when I go back to the edit page and try to playback then it isn’t as smoothly stabilised as what it appears to be on fusion page. This leaves me confused thinking weather the fottage is actually stabilised or not ! Please help sir ! 😢😢😢

@harshbhavsaar2283 hi, yes it can loose tracking sometimes when editing the clip in edit page. The solution might be to export the clip when stabilized in fusion and then add it to the timeline and do the necessary editing. Hope that helps.

@@castyourmemories9686 oh thanks but I am totally clueless how to do this the right way. I am self learning and just begun to learn. Can you please help me with how to import the fusion file on actual time line thanks :)

Just render the stabilized clip, and then add it to the timeline like any other clip.
