that intro is crazy
Been having it about two months and was having a good time with it, but now both left and right mouse switches are feeling off. They don't retract as fast as they should leading to this kinda mushy clicking that feels awful to play with.

been using it for a wile, i think i have medium hands and i havent had an issue with size, its so light that if u actually wanted u could finger grip it. As for the cracking, i also have the 1000hz version and haven felt any tipe of cracking, u can feel its a thin plastic but still quite rigid

What wireless mice would you recommend for around this price, i was thinking the best razer orochi or even the pulsefire haste
Currently, I'd recommend the VGN Dragonfly F1 Moba over anything else for its price tag, but only if the shape suits you well, that is.
Hope the QC for the mini is better. The shape on the mini looks like it will work really well for my hands. QC on chinese mice are always a little iffy. Even the more well known ones. My sora has a ton of creaking on the right click thats highly noticeable lol. Your production and edits are great btw.

@@jakeufps Yeah idk what happened to the Sora. The first batch to reviewers are all seemingly perfect but all that I've heard after the launch is QC issues. I really hope the future chinese releases like the M3 Mini Varun and M800 ultra will be good. They always have insane mod potential when you get good copies.
I have upgrade version with ttc gold,seems they upgrade QC,my copy build very good,no pre-post travel and creaking,very good mouse,buy it for 30$US brand new.

It seems I must have gotten a first batch, which would explain the issues I'm having.
I have stupid large hands so this shape although small for me is probably one of the best light weight options. Mine came with quite a bit of creaking in the shell and the sides of the shell are soft and flex in when squeezing even mildly hard. I took it apart and literally used super glue on the shell when putting it back together and it helped a lot with the creaking. I also switched to Core Pads which were a huge improvement over the stock skates. Company should up the price a few bucks and spend that additional money improving overall quality. Oh and the low sensor placement is sh!t, no idea why a company would do that.
BTW I have the new so called updated version with TTC gold switches and still have the QC issues. Overall for regular use the mouse is fine and comfortable but would still use my GPX for gaming.

Most other reviews I've seen on this don't have the creaking issue, could be you just had bad luck with QC. At least Aliexpress allows free returns for 15 days. Aside from that if the only other issues are pre/post travel it could still be a good option for larger hands, or smaller hands with a relaxed claw/palm. Considering its price, you do have to expect some flaws
Yeah, it was a really early unit from the first batch, the issues have been fixed now, and I've pinned a comment by @AimAdapt explaining the same thing

I've actually got the M3s Varun now and the QC is literally perfect. This thing is INSANE for $50
I just didn't buy it because of the size, waiting for the mini version to come out since darmonshark said that varon will support 2k and 4k. By the way, great video Jake!!
M3 mini is a claw grip mouse, looks very similar to x2

Either you got unlucky, I got lucky, or they fixed the QC issues. Mine is not creaky at all and doesn't have any grinding.
For me it was a direct upgrade from my modded gpx, since the gpx is too small for my hand size. Never used an air58, just blind bought it because it's wider than the gpx and had good reviews and specs (didn't see your review until now, probably would've gone with something else if i knew the QC issues).
I also haven't modded my side buttons on my gpx, so those were a direct upgrade for me since they have noticeably less travel on the M3, even if you're right that they're quite heavy. I use them very regularly, like for opening my inventory in pubg, and haven't been bothered by them as much as I was with the gpx.
Middle mouse click is also pretty good imo, on my gpx that shit is broken asf and only works half the time, which is half the reason I wanted a new mouse, other than the shape issues with the gpx.
Weighs a little more than my gpx, but the dot skates are pretty good even compared to the worn in superglides on my gpx. Would be a 10/10 after a month of use if it wasn't for the slipperiness. Prob like a 9/10 if my modded gpx is an 8/10.

Ah you have the older ver. The newer version of this mouse has TTC gold switch and better QC quality. They improved alot on the 2nd ver

I mean this in the best way possible, but I don't see who this *review* is for.
You bought a $40 mouse that was too big for your hands, used the wrong grip, ignored the performance and spent the entire review giving personal opinions, then compared it to mice triple it's price.
Yeah, you got a lemon, but from what I've seen this late in it's life cycle that's more rare.
It's just not an objective review.
Again, i know this comes off harsh, but I'm not sure how else to say it. Sorry.

I just started making reviews about a month ago, so I've got a ton to learn and am thankful for any critique.
Yes, the mouse is slightly too big for me, but that has not affected the outcome of the review. I've stated several times that this is even a great option for people with larger hands, especially those over 20x11 cm.
The only reason I'm not recommending it is because of the QC issues I have with my unit. Why would I recommend someone spending their money on a faulty product?
Of course, there are people with great QC on their units who recommend it to others, and they have all the right to do so.
"Used the wrong grip," though, makes no sense to me in this scenario, since everybody's got their own grip style. Should I play palm grip for a week only because "that's the correct grip" for a specific mouse? There's no such thing as a correct grip, but I will try to adapt in the sense of providing information for those with different grip styles in the future.
Reviews are no more than impressions, and that is all I'm here for; to give my community an impression and state what I'm experiencing with the product, and that I have.
I will try to keep it more objective outside the "my opinion" chapter, though, since I do see myself expressing my own experience a bit too often.
I totally understand that this review might have been of no use to you whatsoever since you're apparently more interested in the objective technical details about the mouse, but that is something that I am not catering to.
There are many excellent reviewers out there like Haus that provide all the information you could ever need, but my goal with my reviews is to get the information out there that the average member in our community cares about, which is QC > Shape > anything else.
Since we've come to the point where basically all gaming mice come with a flawless sensor, most players care about what the mouse feels like to play with and if it's worth getting for a certain price tag, and that is what I'm aiming to provide.
I'm guessing that you've come from Reddit. I understand that some in that part of the community are more interested in the technical details, so I will refrain from posting there again since I won't provide that content.
"And then compared it to mice triple their price." I don't get where you are getting this from. The only direct comparisons I made were in order to explain the shape to those who do not own it themselves.
I should, however, have given suggestions for what to go for instead or even contacted Darmoshark before posting the review to clarify things, so that will be noted for improvements for further videos.
Liam from @AimAdapt has already done so for his review, and they have said that they will be altering their shell design for QC improvements.
